Anyway, to keep the discussion relevant to the chapter, what do you guys think about Sasuke's words, like, what you guys coukd consider an "opening" to strike at Madara when Zetsu is also keeping watch of the Susanoo?

If that's the case, I'd prefer staying back I don't really like fighting and stuff. BUT that doesn't mean I'll let you take Sakura chan. Fighting is not a solution for everything . But, it is indeed unavoidable sometimes, so...yeah!

I don't think Sasuke even knows yet.

I think when he was taking about an opening he was just telling Naruto to not jump outside rash so they can think for a second.

So, at this point in time, Sai's aware of the Team 7 love triangle. I feel like Sai also believed Sakura loved Sasuke romantically only because of Naruto's insistence so that's why his question in 635 held a lot of weight. But I' not sure what Sai thinks on Sakura's feelings for Sasuke. From his explanation to Naruto in the Land of Iron, it seemed like he took a neutral standpoint on it. I don't think even he knows what to think about it.

 

I do know for a fact that Sakura never told Sai anything on why she was going to kill Sasuke or why she confessed to Naruto. That's why Sai's explanation is so irritating to me. And then you recognize the double standard of NH fans when they refuse to believe Sai saying Naruto loves Sakura, but it's perfectly okay accepting Sai's "Sakura loves Sasuke" explanation.

This indeed makes sense. The question in 635 seems valid too, if you look at it from this POV. However, if I were to make a guess, I'd say if Sai was to be aware of the love triangle, even he would be of the opinion that Sakura loves Naruto and that her feelings from Sasuke arose from her crush. I say this because, since he literally has no emotions, he can look at things more objectively and it was pretty quick of him to notice that 'you are gentle with Naruto' thing. All in all, yes your interpretation does make sense . About NH fans.....well they are NH fans and about the waiting part, its perfectly alright. No worries

Oh they do think about Naruto's sage mode. They said it's because of Naruto's sage mode he was able to sense that Hinata is in trouble and wanted to rush to her.

Ok I'm just going to go out and say this because there's been something bugging me for years now while reading this manga. The original dynamic of Team 7 was if naruto did something stupid or perverted Sakura would beat him up because he deserved it. A few years later the team grows up (divided) and naruto still does stupid stuff from time to time and deserves a beating. Except this time Sasuke has done stuff as well that deserves a good punch or two from Sakura. The team is back together trying to work out their teamwork and getting their original dynamic back. Now all I'm saying is that if naruto does something that deserves a scolding that's good but also if Sasuke does something insultive or mean that he gets equal punishment from Sakura as well!!

We have not once seen sakura give Sasuke a proper scolding for his actions in the entire series and I feel like Kishi has been building up for a moment like this to happen ever since the development of team 7!!!

I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks this but I just feel it's the natural thing for Sakura to not only beat up naruto for doing something wrong but eventually the same to Sasuke as well.

P.S. - Naruto would still get the tsundere treatment of coarse but Sasuke would get like the big sister treatment from Sakura. Wanted to make sure I put that out there so that the NS line is still intact!!! Lol

Well, sounds a bit odd but Sakura not even able to speak up infront of Sasuke speaks tons about their relationship. She hits Naruto, scolds him, goes tsundere with him because of the comfort level she shares with Naruto. If its about opening up, I doubt whether she will even think once if its Naruto she is opening up to. But for Sasuke, she would think thousand times. She just cannot be the way she is(her real self)with Sasuke because of the dynamics they share. Its like, she is just not comfortable with Sasuke. She just cannot be herself with....Sasuke. If Sasuke acts like a pervert I seriously doubt she would even touch him but if its Naruto, we all know XD. Its the difference in their respective dynamics really. Even Sai for that matter is closer to Sakura than Sasuke. Practically, she is just not that close to Sasuke as she is with Naruto, emotionally. And that's why this difference of dynamics will occur. She can hit Sasuke or fight with him if it is an actual fight, but when it comes to hitting him 'just like that' as with Naruto, she would not do it. Rather she would not even think about it. I really cannot put my answer in words for this question but if its possible for you just observe Sakura's behaviour patterns with Sasuke and her behaviour patterns with Naruto, individually. You'll see she is more out going, opening up or to sum it, being her true self when she is with Naruto. But when she is with Sasuke, things don't really 'click'. And it is this factor which monitors Naruto and Sakura's interactions. Just try and observe her behaviour patterns with both of them individually, if you have time. I am sure you will figure out the answer yourself

This and not to mention how much OOC is that for the both of them and Sasuke would never let that happen he isn't Naruto and Sakura is passive toward him whenever she tried to tell something to him Sasuke always shut her down and so far she only gained the courage to go against him when it was about Naruto also its because she wasn't comfortable around him in P1 that we had Inner Sakura she only existed because she was afraid to voice her real opinion and behavior which is more or less like Naruto's its thru this Kishi was telling us how similar are Naruto and Sakura .
