Korra is basically a real 16 year old girl, she makes mistakes, lashes out at people and is very naive. I personally like how real she is but yeah she could be a little nicer, she isnt an adult she may have to save the world but she is still only a teenager. 

True, though I think the main downside according to many is that she should have already developed since last season. Now, it's a repeat in a different situation. That's why many hoped she's already moved on and understand the hardship, especially since she at one point lost all bending. I don't know, but that's how I see it from others.

Maybe in the next episode. Question and please don't take this as a sexist at all. Ok, would you say it's the voice work that makes you angry rather than what's being said. Ok the content is cold in a way but I think the voice work is what drive people mad. Thoughts?

I mean the execution of the voice work. She can sound sorry, mean, or anything. Perhaps some lines could have mean something else, but it is also possible that her voice could present differently than intended to.

well you have your opinion as for me i think janet is doing a good job its her first voice role to shes more on camera then behind it

And i really loved the kataang photo but didn't like the way they executed that family problem.

I laughed a lot in this one. The humor in here was really good. I like that line with the money dropping. That had me rolling. It just sound so weird it's funny.

I like the series, but hoping it will get to the pinnacle of the creation and now, we are getting there. Plus, Korra was better in here and now, she passed the development of understanding of what's right and wrong, so this is great news. Not only that but they didn't dwell on the "villain" expose, so that is out of the way, rather than trying to be edgy and make it unpredictable when it's in our faces. Lastly, the gang is back. Well, minus Tenzin but this is good for him as well. So overall, I'm getting pumped.

 

Oh, and that Verrick guy is awesome.

Best episode of the season so far. The characters were awesome and I loved Asami and Varrick. And Eska...I am very interested in what the creators are going to do with her. And I'm definitely terrified by her on Bolin's behalf, takes a good creator to do that.

 

Only one thing..Unulaq revealing his plan to his enemies. Pretty clichè, and for good reason; it's easy to write. Still doesn't make me like it, and he's supposed to be smart.

 

And one more thing, although this is not exactly about this episode. I don't like the whole Kataang family drama because Aang is dead. I wonder why the creators are bringing up the kids' frustration with their father now. It's too late. Because he is dead and they can not make up with their father, there is no plausible proper solution to the problem. I loved loved loved the happy family picture, but it felt like a sticky-plaster to the wound rather than a solution.

I get the feeling Unulaq will only be the main villain for half the season.

 

Love how the family issued were solved with Aangs kids, though I do wonder if Aang will meet his kids in some sprit event.

I do like the fact that it can be suspenseful to think when Eska catches Bolin, much like when those two high tier Earth Benders reach to Toph or that sparky sparky boom man. Interesting.

So do I on Varrick.

That or maybe there will be more to add to it, like the dark spirits. Perhaps one will get him and something dark will happen. No pun intended.

I do like the picture moment because even though your pov says negative thoughts, that picture says otherwise. Picture worth a thousand words. I do think we will get more on the family.

And I don't think Aang's kids are going to interact with their father directly. Maybe Tenzin, but he is not the one who needs to catch up with him, Kya and Bumi are not spiritual at all.

Unless you really hate this show I doubt a fan who doesn't.

 

Here's a thought what if he is a servant of this dark sprit that's supposed to voiced by the actress who voiced Azula, this is just a crazy theory really.

Well it's going to get interesting from this point forward. If you ask me, these past episodes have been like a prologue to get the story rolling since the last one did in fact end it. So we got that out of the way, now the adventure begins.

You know it kind of reminds of how people reacted to 615 and 627 of Naruto but what appeared to have happened clearly was not the case when 631 & 635 came out later, but that might just be me.

You mean how people are easily guided by its events that somewhat tells them that's the way it will be from now on, rather than waiting for more. I guess it's the case of "Where were you?" because people want to know the direction already but only judge from one event. I guess in this case, we thought they're trying to be so hidden that Unalaq would be the twist of the villain, but they got it out the way; we thought Korra would learn very slowly on her mistake, but she understood and clearly not stupid to fall in again. In other words, don't judge so hasty. Is that what you mean?

Off-topic: funny that you brought those two chapter up because it felt like tag-team almost worked until both of them individually say, "Meh, Naruto is a good friend," and "I still don't care for Sakura like that let alone everyone else."
