Technically this whole thing isn't over. If Japanese fans are very vocal with their anger towards the ending and vote with their wallets and ratings, I am SURE that the anime will take an alternate approach. I'm almost positive.

 

How are the general reactions in Japan? Are more then majority against this ending?

 

SP is really hard. They are big Hinata fanboys. But not NH. See Naruto/Sakura mecha scene.

 

Japan is realy serious about this stuff. If the negativity is to great, and it affects their profit. The chances are high an alternate ending will be created!

 

I just hope NS will be included!

I'm hearing/seeing a lot of different reactions. I've heard opinions are split, I've heard that a lot of people are unhappy, on Twitter it's really a mix but it's hard to tell because of the translations via Google.

Overall, there is potential for a fall in profits. I'm just hoping people don't start accepting the ending (which I've seen some people do).

If we could somehow communicate with the NS community in Japan I am sure we could pull something off

I've long given up on NaruSaku. I thought that we would at least get some closure on NaruSaku in the manga, but not even that. Instead we get this idiotic four head scene which should have Naruto's moment, and the singled panels for Hinata. In less than five pages, Kishi tried to hint on SasuSaku and NaruHina. And don't even get me started on the movie. I never wanted the last movie to be a freakin love story, even if it was NaruSaku. A romance subplot deviates from the original storyline and forces people to think about nothing else but the romance.

THIS IS JUST SO kittened UP. I'm so mad.

Guys it's just an excuse to justify the movie. It was in production from 2012, if he really wanted nh to happen so badly then he could have written more about Naruto feeling something for her, but he didn't.

Exactly what is an excuse? That he's embarrassed about writing romance or whatever?

Agree though. If NH and SS were intended from the start, he would have developed them -- not give everything to NS. But he didn't. And if he, somewhere along the way (like 2012, cause production for the movie started in Dec. 2012), decided to make NH and SS canon (so not from the start) he would not have made NH so one-sided and Hinata look kind of pathetic, and not made SS so negative and impact Sakura so negatively, making her look pathetic, too (and one-sided, on top of it all). That's why, all the things off about the ending (not counting the fact that NS didn't happen Naruto not himself, being a kitten dad, drinking and eating instant ramen rather than Hinata's bento, Sakura being a housewife and Sasuke an absentee father, and then everything prior to 699 & 700, during the war, that made NH & SS look bad), make me feel like Kishi did that on purpose. Cause he was forced to change route (to accommodate the movie that SP really wanted, and maybe part 3 too?), and to retaliate Kishi did all that.

I don't know, that's one of the few explainations for the ending that really make sense to me.

Took my mind off all this crap and went to watch Interstellar. Everytime I was about to get teary eyed, I thought of the ending and my misty eyes instantly disappeared.

I would've liked for Kishi too make Naruto to be a little more forward. I mean look at him he part 1, he said what he was thinking.

The only thing that can force them to do alternate ending or a rewrite is loos of profit (money). It's all about money for them!

So much potential waste on that ending. I used all my frustration to create a good epilogue by giving everyone a resolution. And SS happen out of convinience so Naruto will switch to Hinata.

On a sidenote is One Piece really as good as Naruto story was(minus the romance subplot)?I have heard its long drawn out and boring

There wasn't never really *true* romance though. Just many many little moments that built it as a whole.

That's what I wonder too, the way he treated NH and Ss even tough he knew they were endgames makes no sense, just look at the SS and all its negativity, NH with Hinata not being able to reach Naruto and Sakura the one who holds his heart, I really think he was pressured to do it and he didn't like it that's why he kept ok trolling nh and ss until the last 2 chapters where they became canon out of nowhere.

I can't think of anyway he could kill NS without killing Sakura's character. That's how strong NS was.

I know right? So then, why go for the NH ending? It makes no sense. If the movie flops and the ratings drop, there's going to be some shifting in management @ SP for sure. I think they had a lot to do with this ending.

thats what im hoping for it needs to be a flop for kishi to realize that he sucks as a writer even though the last will fill in the gaps for 700 it'll be forced
