Somehow, I think Kishi is pulling the old "It doesn't matter whether you did this or that, what matters is you're with me." It doesn't have to be love. It reminds me of One Piece. I just recently saw that Nami special, which is great, and I really like how well it was presented that Luffy don't need or care of what happened in the past, what matters is going forward with friends. It's to say why you care for that past if you don't know what happened to him/her. Anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself but Naruto probably don't care if she did this or that but it's the fact she's there. Hm, Yamato's words are really the truth.
You're probably right. However, it feels a bit tricky and fishy that Kishi keeps those thing apart. Maybe one day he'll show them and that will be the day when Naruto will finally acknowledge her love for him, not because of words but because of actions as well.
Yeah that's one of the things I WISH the NH fandom would remember...well.. the mean ones...You don't know how often I have come across statements that Hinata risked her life for Naruto and Sakura didn't do anything...or they claim she was just crying. ( when she didn't do anything like that) Now that Hinata has saved Naruto twice....they are going to be even nuts with the whole" she deseves him stuff" while giving Sakura the shaft. altho Sakura saved his life twice FIRST....and healed him idk how many times...and cried for Naruto...cheered him up...just felt good by his side.. I could go on.
The ONLY thing Hinata did first was confess...that was it. And not long after Naruto Sai confronts Naruto on his feelings for Sakura.
I still wish people would gave Sakura proper credit...it really annoys me.

Oh, I know, I just had a recent fight with a Sakura hater who was telling me that I interpret how I want things in order to favor her and her actions and that I am immature. That really made me laugh. It was about that scene when Sakura says Naruto had no parents. I stated what Kishi wanted to convey via that and I was the first who called her selfish and shallow at that time and I threw that in his face and told him if I'd do things in my/favor I'd have just said something like "OMG SHE'S SO PERFECT, SHE'S AN ANGEL OMGFISOHDUAG" yet I didn't and pointed her bad things, however, her good ones as well.
And I asked him this simple thing. What makes his interpretation better than mine? The fact that he's a hater he has to be absolutely right? What makes his opinion better than mine? And what makes me immature? The fact that I defend her? What about the haters? They're mature?
Well, he hasn't answer for a while, but I bet he will.
Haters never shut up, lol.
Be sure that's the last chapter you'll see NH fanservice.
I mean, I don't want to play Nostradamus, but NH will never happen cause Kishimoto never create the developpement that Naruto needed to forget about his feelings for Sakura.
No doubt in his mind about his feelings for Sakura or Hinata, no romance showing for Hinata, no blushing, nothing : Just friendship.
Even Kishi gives no hint of it in ROAD TO NINJA and Chikara.
Hinata>first character to shine on the battlefield that's all. Next time, I'll bet on Shikamaru or Kiba.
Sakura ? Of course, she will be the last one. Last>most important.
We have a saying here, in my country that the last will be the first.
I don't know how exactly is translated in English, though. ^^
