Well he wasn't. He was an honest guy. SP retconned the manga and forced him to become a liar. All for Princess Hinata of course.

I think he just has a vendetta against us. NaruSasu isn't canon, but they're still getting kitten. NaruSaku's been treated the worse, so we must have done something to make him hate us the most

Cries submissively? What? She cried to Nami begin Nami to let her take care of the children because she has so much pride in being a marine, that she hated the fact that it was a marine that ruined those children's lives. There was nothing submissive about it. The part with Nami made that clear.

 

The problem is that the manga did not flesh out the the reason why she was crying. In the anime, Nami doesn't want her to take care of the kid cause the marines were responsible and Tashigi cannot deny  (if she had suspected Vergo earlier this incident would have not happened) this because she sees the Navigator truly cares for them. She bows and tearfully ask her to trust because she felt ashamed and responsible for their pain. The problem is that this scene is nowhere to be seen in the manga (she just cries and begs to take care of them with no explanation why she is crying).

Pretty sure the implications were the same in the manga.

It's basically gonna be a watered down version of the Last. I pray that no knitting is involved.

I have a feeling that Sasuke we'll probably appear in it too. Or at least be mentioned (in almost every chapter). 

They'll probably mention Sakura's parents once or twice too. They're obviously the last thing on Kishimoto's mind, since the only time they've actually appeared are in the 9th ever Naruto movie and a few fillers in the anime.
