Hard to say because I remember Love Hina being praised here. Around this time, it's mixed now. It's all about the new crowd. Eva seems for hardcore anime fans. IchiRuki has no one loving who, so it's "all good".

 

While I will admit that the size of the fandom does seem to have an effect, Eva is one of the larger fandoms in the west, you also have Misty from Pokemon, and in terms of western fandoms you'd be hard pressed to find a larger fandom.

Soooo, heres the pic of Sakura with her hair pushed back. Didn't feel like scanning so I used my phone. Quick sketch took me about 5 minutes to draw. Like or no?

What made it friendzoned? Last time i was here it was a debate on if Naruto was liking Hinata cause he saved her all the time, or something like that.

Wow, you have been gone. Lol. But seriously, what made it is the fact that Naruto remains unchanged after all of those "NH" moments. 631 changed all that, it was the rejection scene from Yu Yu Hakusho moment. The whole debate has died out and to make matter worse, Hinata in 633 pretty much made it clear that her moment was about being in the same level as Naruto, not necessarily to be his wife. So now, all it's left is SS and Sakura already confirmed that he has no trust in Sasuke in 635. Oh, how the table has turned.

Well, our childhood time did happen in late 90s, so people aren't in the moment of change. It's like how Twlight enters the world, the expectations and outlook has changed for better or worse *cough* worse *cough*. So case in point, we are in the new generation and the new generation don't want tsundere. Well, in here at least. Naruto is the DBZ of this gen, so expect harsh criticism while other anime/manga is low volume compare to Naruto. How can I tell? Remember when Kushina finally meets Naruto episode? Guess what? Harsh criticism for being tsundere. I'm not kidding, but I really wish I was. Even AU! Hinata got some dislike because she was too mean and jealous of Sakura. So yes, I believe tsundere is badly effected and Sakura, being her character and all, adds more to the damage.

Ugh, now I'm in a mushy mood, but I could see a scenario in which Naruto confesses to Sakura right before he battles Sasuke (just so he can confess to her, in case he doesn't make it), only to have Sasuke realize his path towards redemption is through Naruto and they become bff again, only to have Sakura running to the two of them, calling both of their names...Naruto having a bittersweet smile, moving aside/away (as he did in the hospital), closing his eyes/turning away to give them privacy, only to have Sakura tackle Naruto (or just hug him).  It would cover all the bases, cover all the parallels, have Naruto be the utmost-loyal guy, loving Sakura so much that he's willing to let her go, while also allowing Sakura to make the choice that Tsunade couldn't, that Rin wasn't given the opportunity to...though of course, I'm terrible at this predicting game, so it probably won't happen.

 

I'm sure many have thought of this as well.  It's definitely a way to show how Sakura would choose Naruto over Sasuke.

In the end, it's all subjective.  The ones that complain are the ones who are the most vocal, and they don't represent everyone.  However, it's true, that some shows lose their vigor  as time goes on to their respective fanbases.  Does that stop the most loyal fans from enjoying it?  Certainly not.  It's the same case with any kind of show.  Also, what's the Yu Yu Hakusho rejection scene?  The pairings were clear cut.

Yeah, I don't represent the millions. My point is that it could be any reasons, even something that we're not even aware of. As for Yu Yu Hakusho scene, it was in the 4th episode. Of course the pairings were clear, but in that episode it was the start Yusuke and Keiko being confirmed, but when they're still spirits, Keiko was asked by some pretty boy to be his girlfriend. Keiko said no and the guy lost all his cool and just screams "No!!!!" in a comedic face. I really laughed at this scene and said, "Well...he took it well."

Sooo...it has been a while since I was last here. I just recently got into reading the Naruto manga (starting clear all the way from chapter 1) I've kind of skipped around and looked at some of the chapters that everyone's talking about. Chapters like 540, 631 and so on.

 

I used to be a NH fan, but then I started reading the manga. I've gotten pretty far, but I've still got a way to go. I'm...kind of ashamed with my old fanbase to tell the truth. I used to support NH just because it seemed to be what the anime was going for. Turns out I was b*tch slapped in the face when I started reading the manga. I never saw how...'corrupt'? That's not the right word, but anyway, I never knew how wrong the anime actually is. Hinata is...well...useless according to the manga, whereas the anime makes Sakura look like the useless one. This ticked me off quite a bit. It just amazes me how Periot has blinded so many people and made the pairing war what it is now. I'm only a little past Hinata's confession and it's clear as day to me now that NS is the end game!

 

Note to self: If I ever draw a manga series, don't let Periot animate it.

 

I think if Kishi was a little more strict with his studio, we wouldn't have such a giant bashing war going on. Things have gotten way too out of hand. I heard a rumor that there was a guy who bashed a NS supporter's friends in the military just because he liked Sakura. Well, good-bye NH fanbase, I won't be seeing you ever again!

I know how you feel bro.. The anime was so misleading they made HInata practically a queen and SAkura... useless . Its so unreal and can easily cloud your judgement . Many of us felt the same as you ^_^.

I've  even met a NH fan who was previously a NS fan ,but hates SAkura about her ''fake '' confession ,so he walked the plank ,fell in the ocean and boarded NH ship . I guess he personalizes the situation too much, i couldn't get through him.. no matter what i said , he denied/ignored

Parallels will still be going till the end of this manga. That's something every reader know I think. I can say also that it's very possible if shown a child of Sakura and Naruto that he/she will be paralleled from his/her character XD

Yup, I think also that the child will have both of Naruto's and Sakura's character... Of course since it's their child.

 

If it was a boy, mostly the look of Naruto and some characteristics of both Naruto and Sakura. If it was a girl, I think she'll look more like Sakura and have some characteristics of both Naruto and Sakura.

Here's a question: I just finished this one game and I thought it was really good. That said the choices at the end made me think hard. That said I want to ask here the same but removing one since one is well bs for Naruto.

Sakura gets killed by Obito. Naruto defeats Obito and TnJ him. Obito has one last power to grant him before he dies. He can revive everyone that has dies the same day they fought, but Sakura will remain dead for she has died by Obito's hand, not by Juubi (go with it). The other choice is to revive Sakura, but leave others dead. The choice is his. Do you think he will have a hard time to decide? Also, what and how do you think he will choose?

For naruto to choose sakura... He would ultimately become the same guy obito is. Naruto will definitely choose the alliance in the same way he came up with his decision against Nagato. Nagato explained his whole story but Naruto's mind never changes or moves away from his true goal. If naruto knows which one is the right decision without a doubt he will choose that one. However, it doesn't mean he wouldn't be heartbroken by his choice because he definitely would be... However it's just a matter of choosing right over wrong.

Kushina could've survived if she had more chakra , but she didn't , so in order to save Naruto ,Minato and the village she proposed her life from which Minato was devastated ''Don't give me that look'' he was ready to die with her even if he didn't had to . But if he left Kushina die just like that sealing the fox Konoha would've been relieved from Kurama who was suppose to be their greatest weapon . So he took the greatest choice , not just saving Naruto/the leaf but died together with Kushina not leaving her side .. Its a damn drama and tragedy , this is a OTP I'd ship just as hard as NS ...

It hurts me when Minato said that she made him become Hokage and all, which tells you that she meant a world to him. Till this day, it's my favorite volume. I love every moment of it.
