There was no confirmation that Menma and AU Sakura are lovers so why do you like to get ahead of yourself?

In the drama CD we got a hint from Hinata and Ino that Sakura might feel something for Menma, in the movie there was a hint from Kushina that Menma might like AU Sakura, there relationship seems like the canon Sakura and Naruto where we get the sense that Naruto likes Sakura and Sakura might share the same feelings for him but haven't confronted each other about their feelings.

With Menma and AU Sakura it seems the same minus the Sasuke interference or Sasuke drama as we all know.

So please no more MenSaku lovers stuff since there was no hint, it make us sound desperate and would being obvious for Team 8, they wouldn't have the need to question two lovers if they having a date, Hinata would of being way out of place threatening Sakura's life and Hinata and Sasuke would not try to break a relationship that's is already formed.

Don't you think so?

Well, I beg to differ that a girl won't stop fighting over a guy because it's like a teenager show from Disney: over the top, but it's all war, but I digress. I'm not desperate to make them canon per se, but it's a new universe that can only be tackled once since we are not going back ever again. Who said I'm using this as hints. Sure Kishi left it open on Menma/Sakura relationship, but we know it's best to continue the journey in the manga. Still, you got to admit, this is strange on how Kishi works. Nevertheless, manga is our only key item, so let it pass. If NS becomes canon however, I may rethink about the movie. Until then, it's only good fun. Sorry if you thought this way.

Let the guy have a little fantasy of how things could be. You can disagree with him, but don't tell him to stop thinking about what he likes.

I also don't think they're dating but it seems to be one of those scenarios in which everyone is aware they like each other except for the actual pair. That's why we get teases here and there, and why AU Ino felt it was strange for Sakura to say she thought nothing of Naruto/Menma.

That's understandable I guess. Still, as a fan of the series, I know that Naruto is not only about action. It's no DBZ where actionville is at. I would comment on other movies, but first, I have to see the last two (this included). Lol I understand what you mean about Fast 6.

I've heard that in RTN movie (from an interview with one of the anime producers) that they had Sakura behave like her early part 1 self on purpose, in order to show her growth in the film. So the whole "Sasuke would understand me" did seem perplexing because Sakura wouldn't be saying things like that in normal circumstance, but it was intentional.

I wouldn't take the CD too seriously (at least when it comes to looking for genuine pairing hints) since it was simply a fun script created by the anime staff. AU Sakura liking Menma is likely just a twist they thought to include in the audio.

That's interesting to know about Sakura's growth.

We take the CD as seriously as we take Sakura's "used to love" line in that filler episode. We know it's not from Kishi but we are happy that the anime staff likes to play with the idea of NS so much.

Honestly, I think that's my problem. Not in a bad way, but rather why. It's as if he's really telling us that SS is not the way. That's why people were against this movie heavily because of its intention. Yes, it's a movie, but what's the point of that subplot. Why even do it? Oh well, I would let the manga answer it for me. When it does, the answer for this movie comes too.

I think, she said that because Naruto kept saying to Sakura not to complaining about her parents being so annoying. She expected some agreement from Naruto at first, but Naruto stands on his own opinion. Instead of supported Sakura, Naruto told her opposite. Thats why she mentioned Sasuke's name. Because Sasuke had parents once, Sasuke must felt something like she's now. It's normal. Even Kevin from Home Alone Movie wished to be born from another family. Sakura mad at her family. She felt like (maybe) Sasuke ever felt something like this too. Naruto has no parents. He would never understands what she felt at that time. I know it harsh but thats the truth.
Like Kevin, at the end, Sakura misses her parents.
Btw, 2 days ago, RTN aired in theatre in my town (thanks to the provider company for being the sponsor) I watched it and I'm so happy, some NH n SS fans keep their mouth shut for the rest of movie after onsen scene. I laughed a little when the rose died and the petals started to falls.

And damn, Menma just so cool. Korean VA's (watched in YT) are pretty good because its close enough to Japan VA's. Some of the crew of this movie are Korean.

Lucky you. I wish I could see it in the theater. Though I do wonder what would be the reaction in my hometown. I still remember long time ago I went to see Pokemon the first movie and boy, was it bad reactions. People were so disappointed and I remember how one kid tried to help me not going there because he said it sucked. Oh well, good times. Again, I wonder how the reaction would be. Will I hear boos for all NS scenes? Who knows. Just saying.
