Oh lawd. This is gonna be long...
Bolded = Sort of playing devil's advocate here. Although it's nice to know that Sakura's concerned for Naruto, this one can actually backfire. Why? Because Hinata actually does the same. We NS fans say that Hinata isn't good enough for Naruto [or something along the lines, can't find the right way to put it but w/e] because she worries about Naruto all the time, not having faith in Naruto, whereas Sakura, knowing Naruto and his abilities very well, has faith in him in practically almost everything, which she does. So really, if any NS fan uses "Sakura worrying about/concerned for Naruto" as an argument against NH, then shouldn't NH fans be allowed to do the same? Just thought I should bring that up.
I guess I'll sort of play devil's advocate again.
You know, when I think about it, did Naruto ever say that he loves Sakura? I can't actually recall him saying such words. With the flashback where he had a conversation with Sai about his feelings for her, he never *literally* mentioned that he loves Sakura. Even Sai didn't ask if he loves Sakura. Instead he asked Naruto if he has already told Sakura how he feels about her. And what did Naruto say? He didn't say he loves her. Instead, he said that he couldn't keep his promises, therefore, how can he tell her how he feels about her if he can't do something as simple as keeping a friend's promise? That's what he truly said. So really, it was definitely implied that Naruto loves Sakura, backed up with past evidence, but again, I don't ever remember him *actually* saying he loves her.
Again, I suppose that this is just for the sake of argument. It doesn't exactly mean that it's pointless for me to say, but it's true; I really don't remember Naruto actually saying that he loves Sakura [if anyone does remember him actually saying so please tell me where, my memory seriously fails]. However, I do believe he does. This is why I'm waiting until the conclusion of the manga, as I'm sure that the pairing wars will end by then. And by/towards the end, I would like a full, meaningful, honest confession from both parties [Naruto and Sakura], and surely by then, NS will definitely be canon <3
Please no bashing of other characters and/or fans who support the opposite fandoms. It's perfectly alright for you to say why you don't like a certain character/pairing in a civilised manner, but make sure you don't say any comments about something in such an overly negative manner. And what other fans think about our fandom and what we support may be harsh and unnecessary, but so is personally bashing other fans. Besides, what they think about our fandom and our desired ship shouldn't affect the way you see something. So while it's only fair that our fandom can bash the other fandoms that verbally attack us and what we like, it doesn't make us any different if we do the same. If anything, it just makes us and/or the situation even worse. We understand that you feel offended by their comments, but please be careful of your wording to them as well.
I don't think this is a valid argument to use against other fans. We're all coming from different fanbases so obviously we're going to have different preferences and not like the others. Some NH fans say that Sakura's ugly, some NS fans say that Hinata's ugly. It can go both ways really, and even multiple ways with different characters were you to pit other/more pairings/characters against each other.
And plus you just said it yourself. IMO. That means in my opinion. Unfortunately, that cannot be considered a fact, as unfortunate as it is, because I think Sakura is a beautiful girl as well. Then again, saying Hinata is pretty cannot be considered a fact either. The opinions of fans, ourselves included, are quite baseless arguments to be honest.
Once again, it depends on the fan themselves and which fanbase they belong to. Really, it's a backfire and a double standard quality to any fanbase. Like Konan-sama has pointed out, NH/SS fans will call Kishi a bad writer if he makes NS canon. Wouldn't that be the same if we said that Kishi would be a bad writer if he makes NH/SS canon?
I don't know how long it will take for people to really avoid YouTube and the comments made by members there, but seriously, you should. In this forum, a small community, we have strict rules on character/fandom bashing. Everyone follows those rules and therefore this forum can have debates in a civilised manner without the bashing of characters/fandoms. On YouTube, a massive community, no one is restricted to saying certain things, people can basically say whatever they like to say and get away with it. So basically anyone and everyone can flame and bash others to an endless extent. People see them as a crazy community; we don't want people to see ours that way.
It's understandable that you would be angry at the other certain fans for seeing something [you are a fan of] the way they see it, and you just want to lash out at them. Believe it or not, it happens all the time here, despite what I previously said. People get mad at certain comments by opposing fandoms, yet we have admins, mods and very loyal members that give friendly warnings about what they're really saying. That's why we need to be careful of what we say; we don't want to end up like those other fans that say such negative comments about what we are fans of. You know, the "think before you act" kind of thing. So once again please be careful of your wording.
Just follow the forum rules and you'll be totally fine. And welcome to Heaven & Earth, enjoy your time here. (:
