Movie is just to end Hinata's feeling I think.

 

That's been my theory.  The ads suggest it's about Hinata getting with Naruto, but the plot twists it - It's about her getting over him.

I refuse to believe the manga will get an open ending!

IMO most of the movies were like fillers, and the last movie will be about hinata's finally moving on..

Why would Hinata still crush on Naruto if NS is canon, might make sense in real world, but not useful in this instacne, also why bother making a movie. NS conclusion will be in movie, which is why I'm worried...only cause I want it done right

Does Hinata even have a character outside of crushing on Naruto?

 

If you're going to make a movie that's supposed to give her resolution (again, why I don't know, SP wants to homage their waifu one last time when they could have done a final battle with Orochimaru or something you know...cool) that will inevitably be a big part of it.  Because Hinata doesn't have anything else as part of her character outside of that crush.  Kind of sad actually.

If it ends with an open ending (including the movie), maybe it'll mean that a new series of NARUTO is coming foward.

But if really ends with an open ending... Well. That would be terrible!

I can honestly say I'd rather have an open ending rather than any pairings at all.

 

Naruto and Hinata work perfectly as friends - like siblings. Random romantic love can't come out of thin air between them. They don't have... anything. 

 

In fact, I think everyone is better off just being friends. Pairings are becoming such a pain xD

Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.

Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.

I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

I just want Naruto and Sakura to be a couple in the movie so Hinata can only stare and be jealous of their love.

Well guys... I mean, it's my opinion.

 

All I'm saying is that I'd rather have it open-ended, than NaruHina happening romantically. And I don't see anything wrong with them being friends with each other, even if they didn't really have much of a bond.

 

They are fond of each other. But it disappoints me that Kishi could make it romantic - I feel like that would really disregard Naruto's feelings as well as Sakura's growth. And it seems like Kishi's going on that route.

This I agree with.  Rather have no one win than the wish fulfillment fantasy be the official couple.  

 

It's just...Hinata is so boring as a character.  What does she do as a person?  I can't think of anything.
