Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

I dunno. . Sakura was holding her arm around her stomach like a pregnant lady in one of the panels. Like I said before, Kishi seemed to intentionally avoid showing her full body. One example being sasuke's speech bubble covering her entirely

I think the panel was meant to deceive. The problem isn't the manga, however, it's Kishimoto. He has no problem destroying what he's built up or retconning what was never there to begin with. So the whole prospect of looking for foreshadowing or trying to establish a pattern is pointless. Kishimoto can turn it over in the end.
I tend to think the panels are meant to show Sakura as being there, but hide definitively whether she was pregnant or not. My theory is that she's pregnant...for the simple reason that I don't think Kishimoto is brave enough to make Karin the mom. (After all, there is a female who got treated worse than Sakura did in the manga - and that's Karin. He's not going to make her a heroine-type now.)
But even if he did show Sakura as full blown pregnant, he could always turn it around in the end and say it was Karins child, and that is was just a windy day, she had on a billowing dress and that we, the audience, were reading it wrong.
Remember in the manga, Naruto said Sakura was his girlfriend and Minato gave his tacit blessing. But he still flipped the story and blamed the readers, passing the whole thing off as a red herring.
That dude can and will do whatever he wants. We may all have opinions, but Kishimoto doesn't care about his audience, his characters or his story. So it makes it really hard to look at the story with a critical eye now. He'll change it to suit whatever he wants.
And it sucks that in a story about shinobis he's boiled it down to a "Who's My Mummy?" between the two characters he treated the most poorly in the original work.
If you had asked me to come up with a storyline for Part 3, in my wildest dreams I could never have picked the one we got.

We all know Kishi can screw with the story the way he wants since he loves to retcon everything he has written. You're job is to not care anymore. The true story doesn't exist anymore and whatever is there is full blown drama to figure out who is the mother. This is like an bad episode of Jerry Springer or Maury which sucks. I don't care. I just want it to go away.@AHK and a few other posts

True. It safe to say that all Kishi care about is it's popularity and how much money it can generate.

No more likes ! You guys should stop writing such good posts !
The awkward thing is, he is not brave enough to make Karin the mom, but he is to destroy his own manga, characters and deceive his fans ! It's clear that he doesn't care about his story anymore...Maybe SJ found a way to convince him to write a spin off, and in return they would leave him alone...anyway, whatever happened, he's just bad at writing a manga, and I almost regret following it...

But it wasn't a BIG flop, I mean, they still earned a lot of money thanks to it ! But yeah, I get your point. I think they should stop animating the manga...they're just wasting even more money...not that I'm complainingPlus seriously, if they don't have enough money to animate decent episodes, why do they keep producing filler episodes and all...Are they stupid or...stupid ?

"Sasuke is never there and she doesn't have any medical records because Sasuke is working on a dangerous mission and they want to protect her identity because he has a lot of enemiesHonestly, Sarada being a test tube baby makes more sense than Sakura or Karin being her mom at this point. The manga's contradicting the movie by throwing all this crap out that the girl doesn't have any medical records in Konoha, her father hardly caring for her, and her mother having to put her picture over another woman's face who looks exactly like her. Then we have the movie that contradicts the manga by directly saying that she's Sasuke and Sakura's daughter. Everything's a freaking mess -___-

Question:
You think it's worse to see the Last as a non-fan or a fan? Why?
Posted 03 June 2015 - 06:42 PM
Remember, everyone in Naruto has selective memory. Why do you think Sasuke's still around"Sasuke is never there and she doesn't have any medical records because Sasuke is working on a dangerous mission and they want to protect her identity because he has a lot of enemies
"
Which is why she walks around with the Uchiha crest, her last name is Uchiha, and she lives in a house with the Uchiha emblem on it

I think you are spot on. The panel was intentionally drawn as vague as possible to allow Kishi whatever wiggle room he needs. I had the exact same thought and came here to post it before you beat me to it.
And I also agree that it's a darn shame his story turned out like this. We all knew, deep down, that the writing was problematic. This was especially the case in the last arc. But I never expected this for part 3 either. I could justify the drama over Sarada's mom simply because it COULD, in theory, act as a vehicle to get her out of the village and linked up to this dull Kaguya drama or whatever they're doing. But adding in ChouChou as a running gag of "are you my dad?" is tiresome and awful.
It's become a joke; and it's sad that so many people are still on the bandwagon simply because it's "MOAR NARUUUUTOOOOO!"
