Welp. There you go. This pretty much confirms to me that he wasn't planning any love story, and just threw it in for drama. That's why there's so many one sided/unrequited love stories. He wasn't focused on the romance, that's why it seems so thrown together at the end. it was never his focus. And really, after reading this, I honestly don't believe he planned for Narusaku to happen. It was just him trying to add drama. I'll still enjoy the fanon, but I'm moving on. Good luck everyone! :)
This is new news? Last time I checked we knew this already this doesn't prove anything. If NS happens then the new episodes will be different. If it doesn't happen in the movie or secret release chapter which is much more likely than the likelihood is he changed his mind. Besides he can say whatever he wants but there was way too much pointing towards one pairing to just say that he wanted to end it with NH/SS

Exactly you really think a mangaka under control of a big publisher is gonna go "oh they made me do it" Ofc not! ><
I just get my 2nd review for my story, check this out.
As for your saying it should b narusaku, I disagree, coz everytym naruto needed some one, hinata was there, nt once had sakura saved his life or said that she love him, she's always loved sasuke, n besides wat kinder stupid would you b, if u ended up wit someone who bullied you wen u were young? So as 4 you saying it should b narusaku that would've been da worst possible ending
When that story is clearly tag NS with romance tag in fanfiction. Constructive right.
Whether it was his focus or not, common sense wouldve told him not to make Sakura end up with someone who tried to kill her multiple times.
It's an inconsistency regardless. Not just because of the intensely suggestive moments (H&E bridge incident, Sakura wanting to feed Naruto, the tender hug given to him after Nagato's death, ect.) and reciprocal interactions between Naruto and Sakura, but because of the information from the Databook that dates back to late #691. If Naruto was intended to develop romantic affections for Hinata some time in the manga, why not give reference to it in the recent DB? Why acknowledge that his love for Sakura lives on after all this time and with Hinata's confession and her motivational speech already having taken place? It makes no sense.

That is nothing new,That review is the average drivel you get from people who didn't pay one lick to the story
Edit: on a side note, that reviewers grammar made my eyes bleed. People like that have no right reviewing someones hard work

Well even if he never plan romance, it still inexcusable. I think that in writting 101, the love interest of the main character should ended up with the main character and the last thing that should happen is that her love interest ended up with his rival who never care about her in the 1st place.

Well according to that poster the movie will explore romance. Probably it will explain some pairings or probably not. One thing is for sure. It will be about NH SS and NS. Even if NH/SS is the road Kishi wants to go NS needs to get a closure while also considering he ( Naruto) has to surpass somehow the string of bad luck his predecessors had with love.

who would trust Kishimito's words ? It's not as if he never lied.

I would honestly not be surprised if they just forgot about giving NS closure. That is giving them to much credit where it is not due.
Not sure what you mean here? If your talking about part 3... Kishi isn't writing it at all
thank god b/c to me part 3 won't be cannon then.

“The country? The skies? You can have them! I'm busy enough protecting what's in front of me. I don't know how many times I failed to protect what I wanted. I have nothing left, so at least if something has fallen at my feet, I'll pick it up."
Just thinking about it, I think Kishi should write a letter on the topic of abusive relationships and the depiction of females in his manga. It should be an apology but also say that he does not condone such relationships. SJ and more specifically Naruto does have a young, impressionable audience not just in Japan, but around the world. Something really needs to come up on this manner. Like seriously.
EDIT: All you have to do to see some of the immaturity of Naruto's audience is look to some of the hardcore NH/SS shippers who have been attacking various NS shippers on Tumblr

Women do not fall in love with guys who attempt murder on their lives, treat them like crap, and constantly reject them.
Men do not fall in love with stalkers and after only a couple moments together. In fact I'd say its harder for us to fall in love with a girl than vice versa. Unfortunately most of the time we chase for looks not chemistry though women aren't completely innocent in this regard.
And finally, I don't accept failures as heroes. Yes it's true in life that you don't always succeed in everything you do and yes it's a work of fiction. But I will not look up to a hero who quits, or accept a relationship based on abuse and obsession. A hero who fails to succeed is not a hero he is a martyr. We support heroes bc we want to see them struggle and succeed, not fail and give up. And giving up on your dreams is not something that I will stand by. Yes Sakura is not a trophy to be won, but if love is what she wants than this is the worst message you can send ppl.
Fictional characters aren't human, but they represent ideals. Perseverance, love, honor, strength, consequences, and Justice. Those are morals that I can stand by.
Fear, Obsession, Selfishness, rejection, giving up, and abuse. These are things I won't stand for.

Kishi said he wanted to write romance? Does that mean he wanted these pairings all along, but it felt too awkward for him to develop them? Or he just wanted a bit of romance in general, but he didn't have any specific preferences?

I agree. Kishi also has a young audience, as an author, it is his responsibility to make sure he sends the right message. He should really be held accountable.
Besides the lack of development and ridiculousness of these pairings, there's two things I just can't get over. SS and the depiction of women in this manga, more to the point, the depiction of Sakura. It is absolutely revolting and I'm not exaggerating.
What's also appalling is when people say that they're okay with SS

So this is his excuse? It was too difficult?
...
I thought that maybe, if in the end he was forced to end it all like that, I might have found it in my heart to forgive him for it after some time.
But an excuse like this is truly unforgivable. If you know something is too difficult or embarrassing for you to finish, you don't even start. He'll, no indication of romance altogether would have been better than what we got. I feel so angry.
Well, the new promo for the movie has this on it: "699.5=The Last". It's the only canon movie. He worked on it the story. Other interview says he finished 700, so it wasn't his assistant who did it for him. And the movie is about Naruhina falling in love. I just don't have faith in his ns interest anymore after all this. I'm used to enjoying fanon pairings, though. So I'm just going to shrug and move on to the next manga I end up liking lol.
