Agreed probably if it was someone else that person would be hunted by the village but if his crime was so severe why was he so ignored. Maybe being an Uchiha the others ( counselors and Danzou) let it slide. Also they knew Itachi wasn't bad and feeding them information so that Sasuke won't be touched but the "crime" doesn't seem so huge. More like treated as a rogue agent. Only under pressure and then most as a decision of K9 would Sasuke become a target for Konoha. But K9 motivation is to turn Sasuke into a sacrifice for peace they don't hate him for some crimes. They don't trust him.

 

Tsunade believed in Naruto, and wanted to give him a chance to save Sasuke.  That's why she was so lenient until the Cloud incident, when she was in coma, and Danzo took over.

That too. Yet somehow it's hinted that Naruto can do something or something can happen to fix Sasuke's reputation. If anything the fact that Hashirama failed to fix Madara's then Naruto will fix his.

Completely agree! I just can't for the life of me picture Sasuke residing peacefully in the village once everything is over. It just feels awkward, out of place, and just plain odd... If he doesn't die, then he'll HAVE to become a wanderer. Nobody in the village trusts him and most of the rookies recently expressed displeasure towards him, so I don't see how the rookies can simply look past their discomfort and accept Sasuke with open arms. Then again, it all depends on how Kishi executes everything and the situations he presents us with. Right now it still may be too early to tell what exactly will happen to Sasuke in the end, but the most logical choices as of this moment are either him dying, or becoming a wanderer.

I like the idea of him becoming a wanderer. It fits his character and even helps emphasize some of his personality traits (such as favoring isolation, being independent, and wanting to go his own way, but that's just my opinion). Also, I can't even see Sasuke himself being completely at peace with the village, so living there may possibly make him restless. Becoming a wanderer may help ease his the "restlessness" he may experience, but then again, this all mere speculation... So we'll see how this all unfolds in the end. :)

We still don't know what kind of a gift he is gonna reward Naruto with , also Kishi is gonna keep him long enough till they eliminate Obito , but there is always a chance that he uses the Edo tensei against Naruto , i've thought about that possibility as well .

Obito uses Edo Tensei against Naruto? Sounds more reasonable with Orochimaru if you ask me. Hashirama could very well be distracted with the next action he may take to stop Juubi. We'll see.

 

 

It's just other people from other forums were taking his words of protecting Konoha and implying to much.  The shock is people were divided whether it was a good thing or not.  Some even hated it, saying "Sasuke switches around too much.  He's never consistent with what he wants to do."  You can argue to them that they are taking the scene to literally, but they won't believe you.  On the many posts I saw on Manga Fox alone, only a few interpreted Sasuke's "change of heart" correctly.

 

 

I agree that Kishimoto shows some realism as well.  With Sasuke, as long as he's been gone, he does not have a future in Konoha, especially with the way he's portraying himself.

 

Bolded:  Some even use this as an excuse to disparage the story.  I've encountered them so many times.  It's not very hard to unfortunately.

Yes, I remember how many people said that he has changed for the best and everything meant nothing for Naruto. Clearly, they're the one who is wrong and it was the moment where I said, "I told you so." If you go back to old chapter thread, not once I believe he turned good completely. I only think a what if but man, I cannot be more right. My favorite one is the auto-SS moment inbound when in fact turns out to be on NS favor. I can go on but I feel like I'm being mean to say "Ha! Go me!"

Sakura will try to stop him, because she doesn't want him to die (she will remember Naruto's words on what will hapen when he and Sauke fights). While Naruto will of course misunderstand Sakura, because he'll believe it was because of Sasuke. During the "argument" Naruto will try to say something, And will be inturapted by Sakura kissing him. The chapter ends with both of them with big grins on their faces. XD

As far as comparing Hinata's selfish confession with Sakura's intention on the fake-confession there is a clear difference.

-Hinata went selfishly to protect Naruto. She didn't care that Naruto didn't want anyone involved in the fight. She saw Naruto in danger and rushed selfishly. In the process, she confessed, but her "intentions" (good intentions) were to save/protect Naruto. She didn't go there to confess and get killed like it's been commented here. Even if that's what it seems like, it was not her "plan" (She had no plans).

-Sakura wanted to remove the Sasuke burden on Naruto (good intentions), so she devised a "plan" to do so (ugly plan). She fake confessed, using Naruto's feelings as a way to manipulate his actions.

It's so simple and there's no way to twist this around.

M'kay, I'll go ahead and take a crack at this. 

 

First of all I'm really, really tired of this stupid comparison game, and I don't think Hinata's intentions were 'selfish'. She panicked, pure and simple. It was more of a situation of "We're all going to die here and I don't want to have any regrets so I have to act now," I agree with the 'she didn't have any plans', part because she most certainly did not.

But what bugs me here though, is that because Sakura did have a plan, that makes her the wrongdoer here. She did not, I repeat, DID NOT have some sort of evil "ugly" plan to manipulate Naruto's feeling, that is absolute bull. But this person is right that Sakura had good intentions in wanting to remove Naruto's burden.

The funny this is, is that they are saying at the end "it's so simple there is no way to twist it around", and yet that's exactly what they are doing in order to make Hinata out to be ever pure and innocent beside the conniving, manipulating Sakura.

True, but as far as I'm concerned the pairing has already been solidified. There's not much Kishi can do without making the pairing canon. I, like many other, have kinda had my fill of parallels, I just want interaction between Naruto and Sakura, not Kishi telling us "this is how it's going to go". It's clear where it's going to go, no matter what the haters say. Let them rage.

I think Tsunade played the role there , kept him from the bingo books .  Not saying they hate him , but when Danzo was a elected as Hokage candidate he insisted on his immediate execution .

No , Sasuke if he reaches for Orochimaru's justu to make them puppets of death . But then again Hashi proved not so easily to be controlled since he is almost at full power not just him though .

Oh definitely, I'm tired of excuses. I want to see Sakura's confession addressed and whatever she feels for Sasuke resolved. Just make clear and inarguable that yes, this is the intended pairing. Unfortunately, some people will argue and deny no matter how clearly things are laid out, but I guess that will be their problem to deal with.
