"Daisuki" isn't exclusive to romanticism, I believe it just means likes a lot

I know, however, considering it's Sakura, Sasuke and Kishimoto the default go-to would have been a romantic underline. In fact, I'm sure it was made to be perceived as romantic befor Dr. Kakashi's input that clocked it 180.

Sakura used a sentence that is a contrast with what she said after that..

 

"Even though I love you, even though I think about you this much [...]" Do  you see that it's a contrasting sentence here...? Dunno how i can explain here, in japanese it's even more clear.

 

What Sakura is basically saying that even with her feelings, she is unable to save him and only capable to doing nothing and only cry. She is unable to save him and to kill him too. That wasn't a love confession, but rather a confession of her useless feelings. And  at the same time, she cannot stand with his actions.

And Kakashi said that she doesn't want to be with him, but just save him and only that. Her love for him makes her suffering.

 

not a quite positive chapter for SS  too.

I wish people would also remember that the story is not just based on one chapter alone. If you add it to the list of other chapters such as when Kakashi said that Sakura's feelings have changed, then it makes even more sense. She no longer is in love with him, but she still loves and cares about him. She just wants the madness to stop and asks that if there is anything left in Sasuke's heart for her or for team 7....to stop what he is doing.

I keep saying it, but it feels like people still do the opposite. You have to read this story like it is already complete. Not chapter by chapter.

This is why you never just read part of something

You always have to read everything as a whole and then analyze it

What's the sudden obsession with Hinata being on the cover and Naruto's scarf? Who even cares? What are we dropping to the same level as the NH fanbase, that overly exaggerates everything or what?

The chapter wasn't pro SasuSaku, it was one of the worst SasuSauk moments it had.

 

This late in the manga, for Sasuke to be pulling that kitten still, adding in everything else is not a good sign.

 

But nope, PANIC PANIC.

 

This manga should shouldn't have had a romantic subplot.

So, just a thought: could that sketch of the woman possibly be Kushina? I know she's dead, but is it reasonable that maybe Naruto gets an inheritance from the village, and some of the things he gets are pictures of Kushina and Minato? And the sketch is from one of them? Or maybe we see a flashback of Kushina and that's her?

It can't be kushina,that's impossible.I so love and want to see kushina with naruto again,i want him to finally get his mother back and get his mother's love and live with her,he never knew her love but its not possible...sigh...

I'll agree with this. I was about to respond otherwise but your edit addition cleared things up. Yes, after reading Kakashi's lines, the whole profession scene has a completely different message altogether.

 

I honestly didn't think what he had to say was that important, partly because of reading MP scans first, so I skimmed over it. And the fact that negatives in a Japanese sentence are placed at the end, "Janai", didn't help. Turns out Kakashi's lines were the most important part of the whole scene. And, ironically the one both MP and MS got wrong...

When Kakashi talks about Sakura's love making her suffer would you guess it's in reference of romantic feelings or more in a general sense of being unable to reach someone you care about.

 

I'm guessing Sakura still thinks about Sasuke in a romantic way, and will realize by the end that it became platonic, but that Kakashi already figured it out in 675 and that's why he mentions Sakura not wanting Sasuke to be hers, even if Sakura herself hasn't realized that she doesn't want Sasuke anymore.

 

Truth be told, figuring this out feels a little complicated. lol

Sometimes it seems like the NS fanbase is less confident than the NH fanbase. It's sad.

It will be great if in the movie there's a flashback of Naruto talking with Hinata telling her he can't love her because he has always love Sakura. And Hinata replies that its okay that she has always known and she wants him to be happy. I would love for that to happen, yes Kishi crush the dreams of the NH fans MUAHAHAHAHA!

Seems like we settled the debate here, which is great. Now then...

When all things considered, NH hasn't been relevant since 615 which lined up with other friends, so it really doesn't do any justice for romantic level. It also doesn't help that her dream is just leveled as others as well as only there to satisfy and the aftermath wouldn't be the same. Not to mention, Naruto has not changed at all.

Sasuke has finally revealed that he has no interest in her, which is different from care or normal love, so that's a shot fire beyond any shot. Not like he would lie there, which is why he got the right idea from Kakashi's explanation on why she did that. Family. Something we have discussed for dozens of time. As for Sakura, well, she got the worst of the worst.

When all things considered, it truly leaves to Naruto. Can't hide anymore. Once he succeed your goal against Sasuke, you got nothing to hold back. You remind the world that the promise is on and will be dealt with for good. Naruto, you have the ball, it's time to shoot.
