I used to think it was the greatest thing EVER. There, that's how naiv I was back then when it came to animes and mangas.

Towards, the main reason I was following Naruto mainly b/c of NaruSaku. Always was bias though and excused the terribly written war arc...

The Lie was always the universal truth for me. Naruto was my main gateway into anime. I've seen a few animes here and there back then, but it was Naruto that brought me into animes and mangas.

Sort of, but no, the parallel still fits. Trang doesn't like Naruto because she grew after having more experiences. She didn't grow another personality out of no where. Kaneki is the same. He liked it then, but doesn't now. It probably comes from the fact that the books are so morbid, and now they just exacerbate his loneliness. It wasn't a problem before because even after becoming a ghoul, he was accepted by Anteiku and told that he belonged there. It's different at the CCG because there is a large portion of them that don't trust him because he's a ghoul, we already know he feels lonely there and that he really isn't happy.

A change in perspective is what caused him to grow, which is symbolized by him not liking Takatsuki's work anymore. Amon will be the same way when he reveals himself. Akira will be the same way once she meets Amon. Touka changed because of Kaneki. It's not developing a desperate personality, it's growing.

He does. You can see it on one of his legs that is developed in the Arata armour.

Sadly, nothing will change the fact that I feel incredibly dumb for having been so lenient with Naruto towards the end.
