i believe what i believe im not going to let peoples dislike of sakura or negative opinion change that sakura was honest.

That what everyone needs, who ever doubted in NaruSaku just needs to believe. Sakura bashing is pointless, it's just other fans way to make themselves feel good about supporting other couples.

Oh brother anyway I want Tsunade training Sakura more and make her sign the slug contract to make her an official sanin. We already Kishi has developed her emotional character the right way now he has to develop her physical strenght even more.

Maybe that's how Kishi means to show her development though: by emphasizing her medical skills more than her actual fighting skills, he pronounces the fact that Sakura's come a long way from being the selfish little girl that looked to be protected and has matured into a young woman focused on protecting those around her through healing.

By giving her the super-strength--and having her kick Sasori's ass--he shows us that yes, she has developed enough skill on her own to handle physical fights, but I'm not sure it's such a bad thing that he hasn't often exploited those skills so far (aside from being for the sake of humor).

Being a strong character doesn't always stem from being physically strong--or proving it often--and the fact that she's female doesn't change that. She proves herself useful at times, and remains vital to the story in her own way without constantly whooping ass. *shrug*

You have a good point there Kushina, but I still want see her fight again and I think all of us want to see her get another fight but physical strength not the sole component to being a strong character like you said.


Though the sakura haters will always find a way to bash her and her fights. They use the excuse of Chiyo helping Sakura out to say that she's weak. Well Chiyo did deliver the finishing blow but that was because Sakura was mortally wounded. Let's not forget that Sakura was the one delivering all the punches. But at the end of the day they'll just find any excuse to rip on Sakura no matter how contradicting it is. I bet that if Sakura fought someone on her own they would be like "Oh she shouldn't have fought *insert random character name here* on her own so recklessly she such a dumb b**** " or something like that. They'll just rip on her for any negative thing she does even if it's minor. Some guy on deviant art once made a picture which was a for dummies which said "treason for dummies, so you don't screw up like Sakura". And in the authors comment section it said something along the lines of "Sakura in this chapter was just pathetic, she can't even through a smoke bomb right". I mean jeez this guy demonizes Sakura over the littlest things like she's the love child of Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin if that were humanly possible. This guy doesn't have those pics of Sakura bashing up anymore. Probably either because they were getting bashed and was sick of it, were taken down for copyright reasons which he claims that it was Sakura fans that were offended and don't have a sense of humor. OH HA HA HA HA HA, IT'S SO FUNNY BECAUSE SAKURA IS THE WORST PERSON TO EVER LIVE AND I HAVE AN UNHEALTHY HATRED FOR A FICTIONAL CHARACTER DURRR HURRR! *sarcasm* No, humor is used to poke fun at something and laugh about it. The so called humor of Sakura haters/naruhina fans does not fit this category. It's just them acting like unreasonable douche bags that use a pathetic excuse of humor to vent there frustrations out on Sakura in the hopes of upsetting narusaku fans for trolling purposes so they could make it out to be like we're the immature delusional fandom. If there's any Sakura haters/naruhina fans stalking us I have this to say. Dear Sakura haters/naruhina fans, you should try to take a look in the mirror you hypocrites. Sure our fandom has some pairing tards as well but your fandom is just as guilty if not even more. (though it seems like they're more rabid then our pairing tards) It's fine to have a favorite ship but just because things aren't going your way doesn't mean that guys can take it out on a fictional character that you don't like. I'm sorry but naruhina never had enough development to even become canon because it was one sided and fillers don't count as canon material. You guys either get mad because Sakura is supposedly hugging "Hinata's man" or you completely dismiss it as a brother sister hug but when Hinata does it in fan art it's completely romantic? That's a lot of hypocrisy on your part. End of message.


Whew, that was a long rant, sorry if it seems like I'm bashing or something, I'm not trying to bash the naruhina fandom, I'm just expressing my irritation on their rabid fanboys/fangirls behavior along with the Sakura haters.

I really don't see what Sakura bashers have against her.....I mean, sure, she didn't really do to much in the first part of the series look at who else didn't, but almost immediately into Shippuden, we see her more caring side while she still retains the typical characteristics of a shounen heroine. Seriously, she's smart, can punch through walls, freaking hot, and one of the best medics around. What, are they jealous or something? Don't like the fact that Sakura's the heroine and not Hinata?

On a side note, i'm a NS fan but i still don't approve of Kishi's outake of Sakura. I feel like she can be approved so much more besides just physical abilities but Kishi keeps the spotlight mainly on Sasuke and Naruto and i just don't see enough development on Sakura's behalf even though i know the story is mainly about Naruto and Sasuke.

Look at it this way guys, all that "junk" about Sakura loving Sasuke doesn't mean kitten anymore because the Sasuke that she supposedly "loves" is the OLD Sasuke - the cool and popular 13-year old BOY Sasuke, but he no longer exists nor will he ever exist again even if he is brought back to the "light" by Naruto. Everything has changed including Sakura herself. She is no longer the same spoiled 13 year old Sasuke obsessed brat she once was. She herself admitted that she has "grown apart from Sasuke" and instead has grown closer to Naruto. Naruto is the only man who can,will, and has proven to make Sakura feel safe, secure, happy, etc. and she knows it and is now fully aware of it.

Sakura's wonderful and perfect image of Sasuke is now completely tarnished. She will never look at him the same way (romantically) ever again. I mean really, can any of you ever imagine being intimate (romantic) with the person that tried to put a hole through your head and tried to slit your throat EVER again? I sure as hell couldn't, the image of them trying to kill me would instantly freak me out and I would hope Sakura feels the same way now. She will always care for Sasuke just like Naruto and Kakashi but a romantic future with Sasuke is completely out of the question. It wasn't entirely unrealistic for her to still have some romantic feelings BEFORE he tried to kill her cuz she still had some doubts, but now she can't be delusional anymore. I believe that she has truly learned her lesson(s) after the whole Kage Summit arc....but we're still gonna have to wait and see what she does next. As of right now Narusaku is still in the driver's seat.

I think in the beginning, the fans liked Hinata because of the Naruhina pairing, but now, the fans got so centered on Hinata, that they probaly don't even care about the couple anymore, they just want to turn Hinata into their pure idol, something I bet Kishimoto never intended to make.

In other words it's not just about N/H anymore but rather Hinata. They overate her and praise the ground she walks on because she's cute she has the Moe factor (in addition with her big boobs). Most of the NH fans from the west are like this they get so obesses with Hinata that they only see her in the anime and manga it's all about her they believe the series is called Hinata and not Naruto. I will leave it like that don't want to say another word that might be consider as bashing.

You know I really don't even understand what they find so adorable about her...The novelty of finding her embarrassment cute fades away after the first few times you see it.(if not before) The fact that she claims to love Naruto while not even finding him important enough to truly support him is also a detractor. Dunno...I don't really find her very pretty either.(but I think the Byakugan looks ugly period on all the Hyuugas so yea...just my opinion)

So basically they support NH because, in their opinion, it is more visually appealing then NS? It's just like that, the fandom like to stick with what is more appealing from their point of view, and not with the events of the actual series. After all the fairy tale is more attractive. I don't know about this stuff of Hinata acting OOC on fics and doujins, I never saw any Naruhina fanwork to being with but if it's like that, than they are really contraditory, even tought they state Sakura don't deserve Naruto because she is aways a b**ch with him, they make Hinata act just like her in their fics.

I dont think its the visual factor honestly.

if they wanted visuals theyd go for NaruSaku as color palette wise Naruto and Sakura compliment each other better, between oranges, reds, yellows, and pinks.

Hinata is a lot of blander tones greys, whites, dark purples and such. she contrasts to much with Narutos color palette to be more visually appealing. Same with Sasuke quite frankly and Sakura alot of blacks, whites, blues and a little red.

its why i find Karin and Sasuke so interesting actually, given that her color palette contrasts Sasukes in complimentary ways.

NaruHina like SasuSaku is as its always been wish fulfillment. the shy girl gets the guy shes always admired and dedicated herself to changing because of his inspiration. while the good girl gets the dark broody antihero and saves him from hsi darkness with her undying love and loyalty.

they hate Sakura primarilly because of the die for our ship trope. one she sin the way of NaruHina, and two shes in the way of SasuNaru as well. needless to say shes mistreated by both fandoms.

what displeases me about the fandoms is that they have taken an approach of massive double standards in regards to their arguments. every scene of NaruSaku is dismissed or decryed, while every scene of NaruSaku is disected put together and re disected over and over again.

Yeah I agree. Part II Sakura started out really well. But she has slowly been going downhill without getting much positive development aside from the sudden 'I'll believe in both of them!' which...goes against a ton of things she said she wouldn't do to begin with.. My only guess is that Kishimoto has changed his direction from a Team 7 working together to Naruto working alone to save Sasuke. It feels out of character for Sakura to just stand aside after she vowed to help Naruto no matter what. I don't expect Sakura to get as much time as Naruto or Sasuke, but I really wish she had her own training time. I've always disliked that Kakashi never took time for her at all.

That is so true.
As much as Sakura has a strong will and confidence, Kishi doesn't really portray it with her. Sakura's stuck in Naruto and Sasuke's shadow. We has read a little about both their trainings, but what about Sakura? Isn't she also from Team seven? The only ones who stand out are Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi. I can't help but find it a bit sexist. I'm itching for a scene that shows Sakura working hard and growing stronger. Without Sakura's role in the manga, the characters developements wouldn't be the same. She plays an important part, yet where is she?
