Looks like I should've been a homer after all. I was thinking about taking Ponder as my bye week QB even though it was his first start ever. But I stuck with McCoy who has been consistent, getting 20 points in each game except for one. But he's flopped and Ponder already has more points than him halfway through the first quarter.

Who is this Scott Chandler guy and why did I trade for him? lol

Looks like the laugh is on me, too. I dropped Davis who had a great game for Olsen who did nothing.

Thanks for that friend. Though Cooley getting injured last week is what has opened the door. Hindsight is tricky. I dropped Burress this week after failing me two weeks straight. And NOW he scores 3 Tds and will most likely never score a TD again. I had no way of knowing that though, like you with Ponder. At least Wallace is doing work.

And now Harvin's injured so nothing good fantasy-wise can happen in the Vikes game. And the Vikes are losing.

Ponder's moving back to McCoy's point total, too.

Oakland is making the KC defense look pretty special. It looks like they're up to 38 points now. Too bad that nobody took them.

That Dez Bryant garbage time TD sure helped. about 12 points with your kicker against Jacksonville. A do-able lead, but but no means certain. I will be sweating that one tomorrow.

Yeah, I would've felt pretty confident if I was only 4 down. (Well, confident isn't quite it, but at least 50/50.) But 12 points from a kicker? Yikes.

I seen kickers do it before. It could happen.

Obligatory warning to all, Yahoo scoring is subject to overnight changes, so beware.

In fact, Cundiff did it last week. But it's unlikely.

Brees is doing his best to give Insurrection the game single-handedly. 46 points and he still has a quarter to go. Maybe he'll just hand off to Sproles now.

I don't know, they play Jacksonville....

Though that may mean more TD's than FG's.

If he gets 12 exactly, we have a tie.

I'm kind of expecting some stat adjustments for when Colt McCoy and Matt Ryan took knees to end the game. I don't think those usually count as rushing attempts, but I thought I saw them get ticked off in our game.

The Saints crushed Indy 62-7, 2/3 of my team is on a bye, and True beat me currently by 20. And I still put up 90+ points? What The Hell?

You must have Drew Brees.

And no stat change, Nick. So, you need 12 to tie 13 to win...and I don't regret trading Foster. I've had tons of bad luck witb hammy injuries coming back. I DO regret asking for Kolb over Newton. That was a huge mistake. To think, the homer in me wanted to draft Newton over McCoy. The one time being a homer would have paid off.....

40% chance based on my kicker's games this year. I don't think it's quite that likely, but do-able.

Wish that you'd stayed a homer and kept Olsen. I wouldn't have dropped Fred Davis then. Oops.

Well. I wanted Seattle's D to keep things low-scoring but that game was ridiculously ugly. Christ.

Indy is really serious about Sucking for Luck, I guess. Good for me though, hooray Reggie Wayne no-show!

It's a stiff competition between them, Miami, and St. Louis. Do anyone of them play each other? I've not watched all the games, but I did watch the Dallas game, and boy, is St. Louis bad.

If St. Louis wins should they draft Luck and do a San Diego? Try to find a Stephan Jackson replacement (he might be done before they win again), or try to shore up that injuried plagued and god-awful D?

We need a suck for the Luck bowl.

I was disappointed Carolina lost out, but with Newton being as good as he is. I got over really fast. If they can shore up the D and he can cut down on the INT's. Things will be pretty good.

After looking it up, none of MIA/IND/STL play each other this year.

STL would get a King's Ransom in picks for the #1, and the other two teams would just straight up draft Luck.

So, two bye-filled teams, one of which almost wins anyway,
the Commish cracks the 150-point barrier,
And the only game left that's still in question is Nate/Nick's game where we see if Kicker>= 12, Y/N?

What a week.

If Drew Brees did what he did to Indy next week the Rams will have hold, Luck or Bradford, but if they are able to draft Luck 1st overall, they're going to make San Diego-Eli Manning look like an ebay transaction.

But back the fantasy, how the hell did I put up 90+ POINTS with 3-4 people!?!

If these football trends continue into next week, sure the Rams will be completely slaughtered and we'll have a blackout, but damn Drew Brees and Darren Sproles will be good.

You know what would be interesting? If two of those teams when into week 0-15 and had to play each other.

You play me next week, Insurrection, and I have five guys on a bye. Unless Gore lights it up, I'm probably in trouble. Especially with the Saints playing St. Louis.

Though I did pick up Lance Moore. As long as Brees only passes to him then all is good. I almost beat Ilmatic when Rodgers threw all his TD's to Finley.
