Hey, I'm new to this site but not Naruto forums. After much thought and debate on this subject, I feel siding with this group is the smartest and best option. I can't see a better pairing then Sakura and Naruto and I'm just tired of people thinking other wise. While i feel saying that alot of the other pairing don't make sense is enough evidence, I also think that some where in these 367 chapters there is some string of info that most people have missed and that they may help in solving the problem at hand. If looked at before then I'm sorry in advance but I see several concepts that need to be pieced together which may lead to some sort of answer. The first has to do with line of students who all are linked to the 3rd. I think that there is some sort of hint about the future by comparing each of the 5 or so generations and finding a pattern or rules among them. The other thing is how the characters changed after the time skip. I think that there is some sort of rule or logic that will prove how and to what degree the characters changed and grew up. Finally I hope that the anime writers may help better explain what is implied in some of the scenes we have already read but don't quite know how to read it. Kishi may have little control over the anime but it has yet to change any of the core themes or ideas so it may still be of use with out fear of hearing something like " but the show isn't the same so it doesn't count". Little long but hopefully good enough to read.

Stuck in the past much?

(Note: the following is mainly opinonated... with an attempted logical approach)

Is it just me, or do a lot of NaruHina and SasuSaku fans seem mainly focused on the past? Maybe it's because:

a ) Hinata has showed only up once in shippuden
b ) Sasuke tried to shish kabob Sakura with his katana

In other news: NaruHina has come to a dead hault. (and no, i'm not being selective, I'm being honest!)

And so some of the fans begin to blow things out of proportion. They use the same arguments repeatedly, and so some of the NaruSaku fans come up with the same counters, because they keep using the same arguments!! I have barely seen any decent rebuttles to the NaruSaku arguments - most of the counters are just opinions, which make the counter look rather ridiculous.

There are so many ifs right now, but we just have to wait and see... it is possible that Kishi may decide to develope NaruHina, but I think that's going to be difficult, because doing so would probably take away from the storyline. Besides, it's not as if Hinata jumped into the new team 7: the author decided to put 2 new characters in instead.

NaruSaku does not take away from the storyline as much as NaruHina, IMO. Think about it... Naruto and Sakura both know about Akatsuki and Sasuke, both are currently focused on such, while Hinata is left in the dark. It would be more work to write up how Hinata finds out about Naruto and kyuubi, learns about Sasuke, and akatsuki in order to make the pairing work as opposed to using Sakura, who has been there all along... (Unless Kishi pulls a JK Rowling... *shudders*)

What I do believe in is that their will always be 'tards and people who go about a pairing logically. I have respect for those who like the pairing for simple enjoyment of reading without going off their rocker to argue it in an idiotic fashion. I have respect for those who suport pairings by using good evdance to suport their idea that their shipping will become cannon.

I have absolutely zero respect to the people that only look on one side of the relationship, or think that their opinion validates cannonism (yay i made up a word!!) in a relationship.

So their you have it, my opinion on the standings right now.

And now for the blunt, mean, nasty opinon that I need to get off my chest about the NaruHina SasuSaku:

What great substance NaruHina has! (sarcasm) They managed to spend about not even two hours worth together, and suddenly Naruto will suddenly realize that Hinata is (whose made up less than 1% of the time in his life) what he's wanted all the time? Get Real. SasuSaku is better, considering they've interacted more, but this interaction invoved Sakura spilling her mushing-gushy hormonal feelings to him and Sasuke pratically "Hn."-ing all the way.

It's Love I tell you, LOVE!!! dry.gif

PS - (I still think that SasuNaru stands more of a chance than NaruHina *giggles*)

**basically this is more or less a repeat of what everyone says... I just like typing up my feelings a_dance.gif **

You know, I think that Kishi will develop all the pairings before NaruSaku, so we woun't be saying "OMFG IT'S TRUE, IT'S TRUE, IT'LL HAPPEN" and then bash the hell out of every one.

I do believe NaruSaku will happen. It is definately the most likely considering their relationship. SasuSaku isnt viable anymore after Sasuke left Sakura and Naruto (both times). Hes in too deep. NaruHina isnt likely because They dont hang on a daily basis. Plus Naruto is so in love with sakura and Sakura is in love with Naruto they just havent gotten around to telling each other. It will happen eventually.

I woulnd't say sasusaku is out of the picture yet, we pretty much sasuke will come back someday. Plus. there is the fact that there is lack of proof sakura hasn't stopped loving sasuke.

297 was a pretty good hint for the possibility that sakura might has fallen for naruto, but its not actual confromation. If she does love naruto , then she probaly doesn't know it due to the fact there was a look of shock on sakua's face when yamato was talking to her about you-know-what.

I agree with your sentiment regarding Chapter 297, though you also have to account the fact there is almost no evidence showing that Sakura still has feelings. The evidence they actually use is based on a page meant to boost aniticpation for Sasuke's reappearance and Sakura looking at a picture of Team 7. She has not thought of Sasuke solely at any point in Part II. She has just thought of him in the context of Team 7.

I agree with you that is lack of proof that sakura still loves sasuke, but there is still lack of proof that she stopped loving saskue.

It goes both ways. Arguing about it is a waste of time. Hell, participating in shipping debates in general is a waste of time.

(part 2 evidence)
While there is lack of evidence for both causes there is much more inference that Sakura loves Naruto now. When Naruto got to the 4th tail fighting Orochimaru she ran out yelling "Ill save Sasuke for you!" to try to aliviate some of his pain from loosing his brother but also being unable to fufill his promise to Sakura. When she gets injured by him she still goes to help him first.
she says"I can only do the smallest things for Naruto" and Yamato replies "Its not what you do its how strongly you feel for him. Sakura i can tell..."
Not only that but Sakura wants to learn Yamato's jutsu so she can take care of Naruto on her own and not have to rely on others for help.
She also lies to him about how she got hurt to save his feelings. Yamato has no reservations so he finds out anyway.
We all know Naruto loves her so i wont go into it.
Now when Sakura and Sasuke see eye to eye there might be a little spark in Sakura but there is nothing in Sasuke. Sasuke decides to visit Naruto's mind and he meets the demon fox. While Sasuke helps Naruto put the fox back the fox also threatens Sasuke "If you harm Naruto i will kill you" or something of those lines. Sasuke hardly notices Sakura. I dont know about you but when i ignore girls they get pissed at me so this is probably the case. When Sasuke leaves Naruto is crying but so is Sakura. I think is is feeling the loss but she is also there feeling Naruto's pain and realizing just how much pain Naruto has had to go through compared to her insignificant little problems. she also stays strong for him saying "Lets get stronger together"
(part one evidence)
The last deal breaker- Sakura pours her heart out to Sasuke only to get a cryptic thanks and a smack to the back of the head to find out he left anyway. Thats the biggest kind of rejection you can get.
She also has feelings for Naruto in part one but she thinks to herself "What are these feelings? This is Naruto" So the feelings start to develop there and the relationship grows ever stronger.

(my inference/personal feelings)
Even if Sasuke kills Itachi he isnt gonna turn around and become this nice ladies man. He's still gonna be the same cold Sasuke that he has always been. He just wont be bent on revenge. By the time it comes around to that Sakura and Naruto will probably be happily married or something along those lines. Its not gonna happen any time soon.

I could go on for much longer but i would just be reiterating my main points above with even more facts. just read Mizura's Manifesto.

Or at least if Sasuke is able to come back, he´d find that Naruto and Sakura are togheter. (And he would only feel happy for them as so does Hinata because they know the real thing that they share this couple). But I definitely can say that Sasuke´s only goal in life is to kill his brother, he doens´t care if he dies in the intend to killing him. He just want to accomplish his revenger over him.
About Naruto and Sakura relationship I think this bond is getting each time more stronger, because Now that in the recent chapters Naruto has been demostrating that he has really grown up. So, Sakura noticing this change in Naruto. She will begin to feel something more for him, even admire him. wink.gif

I think that Sakura already admires Naruto

I just read a comment made by SasuSaku fans that it truly pissed me off and I want to get it out of my system.

They say that it might be true that before the time skip Sakura had only a crush on Sasuke but now after the time skip she realizes that she is deeply in love with him.

WHAT?!

That comment pisses me off so much, and it absolutely doesn't make sense to me.

So they are saying that before she had a crush on him but after knowing that he almost killed Naruto, after being away for 2 1/2 years, after hearing that he doesn't want anything to do with them, and after trying to kill Naruto again and all of them including herself she realizes that she in deeply in love with him?

This is almost as ridiculous as those comments saying that Naruto and Sakura have a brother and sister relationship. Yeah I didn't know that in a brother and sister relationship the brother wanted to be his sisters boyfriend.

I agree, I really don't get how sasusaku fans seem to be sure that Sakura still likes Sasuke. I mean, I've seen nothing in part 2 that even hints to her still liking him at all let alone having her feelings deepen as well. I just read a sasusaku fan saying that basically since Sakura still wanted to get Sasuke back, that meant she loved him. And that she was still obsessive over him because of training for three years. (Which makes me wonder then, in their opinion, where does that leave Naruto? If anyone's obsessive about Sasuke, he is.) But really, where do they get the idea of thinking she automatically still likes him because she did when she was 12?

Sorry, I haven't read this thread but I didn't want to start a new one just because of the things I wanted to say.

And that is, at times, I'm beginning to lose faith in NaruSaku.

At least, when I see the Anime. I just watched Shippuden 1&2 and I realised that always when there is a little bit of romance between Naruto & Sakura it is comedy. And if there is romance between Sakura and Sasuke then it's always more serious and more drama.
That makes me lose hope a little bit.

Will the romance between Naruto & Sakura always be comedy??

Also, the latest chapter

SPOILER

showed that Sasuke isn't that bad, I mean, he didn't kill those guys, and I think Kishimoto wanted to show that it isn't too late for him and that there is hope. But if so, then it could be that he comes back and SasuSaku happens.

Also there were plenty opportunities for NaruSaku moments in the last few chapters but nothing happened...

SPOILER END

I'm just afraid that this series ends with the wrong pairings. It would ruin the whole series for me, but this is just the best series ever, I don't want it to be ruined....

There has to be hope for Sasuke. To me, his redemption is one of the main themes of the manga.

It may be a deathbed redemption, but he will be coming back, at least briefly.

It does mean that there is a possibility of SasuSaku happening, but I think it's pretty unlikely. Kishi didn't seem to be building any kind of rapport between Sasuke and Sakura before while they were on the team. Sakura had the crush (and more?) and Sasuke sees her as a precious person (which he's trying not to do right now), but I never saw any chemistry between the two.

I don´t think the romance between Naruto and Sakura is comedy, rather is dramatic too...and all of these are shown in chapters 290-298.
However having some funny scenes, shows that the couple really is interested in each other. (like the scene when Sakura shakes Naruto for saying he has a better perverted jutsu....She was dissaponted to lose admiration for him, but the truth we know she doesn´t) wink.gif

kishi began with a love triangle naruto liked sakura, sakura liked sasuke, sasuke liked nobody.
Throughout the manga the sasuke-sakura love has not grown(maybe a little at sakura's side, but thats it), while the naruto-sakura love has grown a lot. Naruto still loves his dreamgirl and sakura starts liking naruto more and more as the manga goes on.

And their romance is not only comedy but mostly honest and emotional and dramatic. It is sometimes comedy because they(mostly naruto)is a total dweeb on the love area...and that makes for comedy too

I think narusaku will pull through...almost everything hints that way
I am neither good nor evil, I am awake yet I dream
