So from what I understand, it's even worse than we feared. This is literally Princeess Hinata: The Movie.
You know I've been following this series for quite a while and I've often thought about how the ending would be. Never would I have imagined that it would be anything like this. I don't think I've ever seen a series destroy itself so thoroughly.
What I hate the most is how Kishi just dismissed the NS bond. It's obvious that he is lying, but if I assume that he isn't and that this was his plan all along, then I have to ask: What was the point? What was the point of building up NS all throughtout the manga? What was the point of RTN? Is there a message and if there is, what is it then? That building up a real relationship is too hard or that if someone has strong feelings for you, then you have no choice but to accept them no matter what? What is the logic behind all this?
The truth is that there is no logic in all of this. Kishi threw it away in favour of trying to appeal to a completely different demographic.
Once you throw away logic, you're basically f**cked.
