What f***s it up is that not only is told by Sauce's point of view, it makes him look like the main protagonist and hero, and the fact Kishi devolves Sakura back to her fangirl days, if SS was to happen I'd rather would had seen something else to prove she's still the strong independent character she grew to be in Part 2..............everything else was ok, Naruto at least is acknowledged as the village's hero

I know it's a sin to say..........but I like Bolt, he would have been way better as Sakura's son with Naruto, but he's cool at least, Hinawari is just meh, average to me at this point
 
The random pairings.........that also messes up this already f****d finale, I get some randomness was needeed, but Kishi overdid it
 
Konohamaru's a Jonin, and Bolt's sensei.........that's cool, but repetitive in a way

The ending overall screams part 3.......and not in the way it was announced that it would be a short manga story following the kids, I mean a full blown part 3, either done by Kishi or under his direct supervision

Well, we got parings but even dont see any of the Naruto/Sakura/Sasuke/Hinata interaction. LOL!

Who are they? Tell me I need a new manga to read. Even FT is going to end so much better than this poor excuse of a writer. Look at Rave Master, that actually had a good ending with the most developed couple becoming canon. This is a joke. I can't believe I'm saying this, I honestly thought even if NH/SS turned out to be true, we would get some good closure. I'm sick of this bullsh**...

 

Read Suzuka, the ending that should have been for NS.

 

Kimi no Iru Machi and GE: Good Ending are good alternatives too!

Well Guys it's been a fun ride. I'd like to think that we weren't wrong. Just Duped out last second. Anyways this site's been fun.  ALTHOUGH I'm not watching the movie anymore

Maybe we are being salty. But even if we could gracefully concede the pairing war, there are some things that are too egregious to let go.

Sasuke steals the forehead moment with Sakura that's been dangling since chapter 3. Seriously, you do 1 million flashbacks and the bench scene is ignored? No mention of the PoaL. No resolution for Naruto and Sakura. That is the stuff that really upsets me.

 

And truthfully, Kishi started destroying Sakura's character during the tail end of the war arc. More tears for Sasuke. More comments from Kakashi about her love. She had a few great moments fighting Kaguya, but she was increasingly devolved back to a love struck girl from Part I. That's bad writing.

People are still going to call this a good ending just because of NaruHina though.

There was an interview about Road to Ninja with Kishimoto.

Kishimoto said that he tried to accomplish something with this movie that he was, for some reason, not able to do in the real series.

I can't search this Thing up now, I'm not at home. But I will do it.

 

RtN was THE NARUSAKU movie ... they came to an understanding of each others Position, it was just beautiful.

 

And now we know what this "something" was ... it was Narusaku.

This reminds me of a fan theory to explain what happened to "How I Met Your Mother".

 

The writers had the story for the first season, and how it would end.

The series became successful, so the writers had to let the characters develop and evolve to fill out the middle seasons. But they made the decision to stick with their original ending, so they had to ignore all the work that happened between the early and last seasons to make it fit.

 

That's how it feels for Naruto. Rather than decide to adjust his ending to be a natural resolution of all that has happened during Shippuden, it feels like he decided stick to to his initial (under developed) ending.

That is just so silly to me. I dont understand this whole "writing yourself into a corner" thing, when it's as easy as changing your original ending to serve the series better. Not saying you are silly, just that I have heard about this "predicament" and it always seemed dumb to me.

You're right; he definitely will. But that's the mark of a terrible writer. A good writer should not need a semi-canon film to fill in the gaps he ignored in the manga!

From a outside prespective, yes. Everyone else seems pretty happy. NF, the Naruto subreddit, 4chan. All seem rather happy with the ending, and most knew how the shipping war was going to end since the pain arc. Of course it seems totally different when you surround yourself with people of the same opinion who constantly reiterate what you want to hear.

 

Sakura isn't even popular in Japan. In the most recent character polls near the start of the war she came up as number 12, behind freaking Iruka.

can you please explain? I`m not so sharp due to todays chapters..

See how RTH had a bunch of Narusaku moments and developments? Kishi said that he wanted to do something in the manga but he couldn't so he made RTN. And now with the ending of NH and SS I think Kishi's original pairing was Narusaku but then he did the opposite pairing instead. Sorry English is not my first language.
