It troubles me because this chapter was effectively the last opportunity Sakura had to prove that Tsunade wasn't just blowing smoke about the potency of her restorative technique all those years ago.

lol so I'm Improvising!!!! XDPlus EVIL commented that she couldn't find hardly any Fanart with Sasuke fingerpoking Sakura. With 693's dilemma there ain't gonna be no forwarding in the SS pairing when it comes to romance, so this is as close I can think of to end them on a good note at least :)

The origin of what? Zetsu? They were originally the mutated spawns brought about by the Shinju and Kaguya's powers. Could it be that the collective bijuu's chakra will see a final use in restoring Naruto's arm?

It's the context that matters. Sasuke is doing it as a good-bye, not as a tender reference to that. Besides, he's not even aware of it, so he's probably just acting like Itachi.
