So, I'm wrong it's not friday. LOL I thought I understood it right but no. ^^

 

On this website, they are announcing the WSJ N°40 to be released on 9/1 in Japan. It's also a MONDAY.

So... I guess that was really early to have it on wednesday.

They must be ready, printed and packed at this date. And then, they must wait in the warehouse to be delivered to the stores. Maybe all these days are planned to give the time for it to be delivered everywhere in Japan from the warehouse. I guess that's why some stores has it sooner than others. It's also possible someone "stole" them before and then scan them or give it to someone to scan.

The chapters you see on Wednesday are leaked from Japan.. But Japan is trying to clear stuff up (legally). So the chapters cannot be released yet. So please wait as we are taking this opportunity to tell people to not complain to the 98/twitter as it is not on sale in Japan yet.

Japan makes a big deal of this and if you guys create a fuss over it, then in the future there may be less chance of receiving early chapters.

So because this is unusual though, if it's already made and ready to sell, then guess it's just sitting around for release.

So we may get it later this week or not at all. Like normal just be patient because some funny stuff occurs but it's just taking a bit longer and this little junk needs to pass before the stuff is released.

Anyway, IMO the delay will only concern this week.

 

After that, we will have it always at the same date so the wait will be one week again. It will be on monday at the worst, when it will be officially released in stores in Japan. And maybe some people will manage to take it earlier and sometime we might have early scan, but IMO it will be less regular than before.

 

No big deal ^^

We are able to read this manga every week thankfully to JUMP. So "this japanese SOPA crap" is legitimate.

If JUMP doesn't have money anymore, it will crumble. And then no more week release at all. We would be forced to wait for the release of volumes.

Yes that's what I think too. This will be a little hard to wait for this week but we should just keep up with our lives and the time will flow quicker LOL.

Friday is early for us. Not for Japanese. The "official delivery" is the date when they are in store in JAPAN.
 
I think this new law is to regulate what's happening in JAPAN in priority.
 
In Japan, the official release date is Friday. Correct me if I'm wrong Japanese forumers.
In Western countries, it's VIZ that's releasing on Monday. I'm right ?
 
But before being in store the shonen Jump needs to be PRINTED.
 
I believe (from what I read on the web) that the JUMP is printed on wednesday or before. Well, it's ready on wednesday because the scans have been available for years on wednesday, and they were not coming from the sky. LOL
 
I believe when the magazines are ready, printed and packed, some deliver men take some Jump magazine at the warehouse before they are allowed to do so officially. I think officially, the magazines are supposed to stay at the warehouse until be released in the stores on friday. This is in that time-lapse that some deliver men can take it sooner for some stores, and then some fans in Japan buy it to scan it.
 
So, if some stores would get the Jump BEFORE friday, the official release, then some japanese readers won't buy it when it will come out officially because they would have read the scan already. I think that's why the sales have dropped for the Jump.

The sales arent dropping because of the scans, it's the same thing as blaming the fault that dragon age 2 sold less because of piracy, GTA V was pirated a lot and still made 1 billion.
The fact is that the sales are dropping both for One Piece and Naruto mostly Naruto is because of the quality of the story overall.

If you say so. I thought it was the JUMP sales that dropped. Maybe there is a problem of quality, but I think if the scans are available why people would buy it ? There is only a few that keep buying it to encourage the mangaka.

oh well, theres still the black market, bootlegged subs/dubs, I'm sure fans will find a way to keep scanlations, and translations. Sure companys' are smart. but, their FANS are smarter. lol.
