Really great post KnS, but I would like to reply to this one subject here. I know SasuHina has been nothing but a crack pairing in this series, but is it too much for Hinata to take an interest in someone else? If Sasuke is meant to be redeemed in the end, couldn't Hinata be with him? If Sasuke doesn't want a loud girl, isn't Hinata... perfect? Hinata is being the ONLY silent one in the K11 and it really does make me question how Sasuke would end up with anyone BUT Hinata if he was meant to love someone in the end.

I honestly think it's just to prevent her disappearing entirely cause her fanbase is a very squeaky wheel. If she just vanishes now after 615 there will be an outcry.

I agree with you completely about twisting Kishi's words, honestly why in the world would Naruto assume girl + friend instead of girlfriend when Minato asked him? Anyone who says that is what Naruto means is in denial so hard.

I am 100% sure Naruto meant she was his GIRLFRIEND in that moment, even if they aren't that is what he said and meant I wont even debate that it is just girl + friend.

LOL I thought that he meant it as well. I mean, why would Sakura react the way she did? And then, she didn't even deny it. LMAO! So much awesomeness in this one chapter. I LOVE how people are trying to downplay, flip, twist what's going on here.

And then, you clearly see who the real fans are. Apparently Naruto's a douchebag, but really, when you look at it, WHERE HAS IT BEEN SHOWN NARUTO IS ROMANTICALLY INTERESTED? NH fans saw exactly what they wanted to see, and they set themselves up for failure. Did they really expect Naruto to just fall out of love just because Hinata confessed? Did they expect Sakura to just disappear into the background while Hinata held the spotlight continuously? No, doesn't work like that. Sakura's the heroine, and she's about to lay it down for the non-believers. Kishi's just kicking ass with these chapters!

My NaruSaku Fangirl attack:

I love this chapter!!! It's all so perfect .... my favorite chapter in a while. I never expected Kishimoto to just so openly have Minato immediately ask Sakura if she was Naruto's girlfriend. Most surprising was the blatant MinaKushi=NaruSaku confirmation! I had my hopes so low for that, but it happened!! And apparently Kushina also beat up Minato too. Naruto's love for Sakura is confirmed. I do believe he wasn't saying she was seriously his girlfriend and he's probably not sure what standing their relationship is right now considering Sakura's confession but it definitely proved he still loves Sakura this late in the story. But my favorite parts of all in the NS interaction was when Naruto told Sakura to rest, but she went all feminist and stubborn on him, ignoring him so she could fight with him. That was my favorite NaruSaku moment. The look those two shared with each other just ... just oozed romantic couple in my opinion. And his warm smile at her.

OMG I JUST CAN'T.

I first saw the spoilers of this chapter on Tumblr while I was in 2nd hour at school today .... I was having a total fangasm attack, I wanted to dance and jump around. Too bad I was at school lol.

And Sasuke ... I've stopped predicting anything for him. Saying he would become Hokage was the last thing I expected him to say. I'm seeing a Sasuke vs. Naruto idealogy "fight" to be Hokage in the village (since Sasuke apparently wants to go back now. Knowing Naruto, he just might), but I can't really predict crap right now. Sasuke's the most unpredictable, inconsistent character in this story. But still I had strong feels seeing Team 7 standing next to each other on the last page of the 631, it was seriously giving me nostalgic Part One feels.

Shino: "Being Hokage can't just erase what you've done ..."
Sasuke: "I know that, but I really don't care what you think of me."

I know this was a complete kitten move from Sasuke and it probably should piss me off, but I laughed my ass off at his response to that. Looks like Naruto still needs to help him get his redemption.

There are just so many happies I had from this chapter ... Sakura's gonna fight, Team 7 Reunion, Madara "friendzoned", it's just all so beautiful.

As for NaruHina, it's offically dead. Now it's the NaruSakuSasu love triangle at the front towards the end, just like I predicted it would be. And SasuSaku is just near-dead, so NaruSaku is as good as canon. I am looking forward to the drama surrounding Sakura and her romantic conflict between her two boys though.

Now if you excuse me, I'm going to inflitrate the NaruHina tag on Tumblr and watch the sh*tstorms ....

Except the fact that the japanese word in this case, 彼女Kanojo, can't be splitted in two words in order to make double sense or some jokes... It means aboslutely Girlfriend/lover/sweetheart. Deal with it. But they will ignore this, once again and forever... I bet it.

Though there was no One Piece today(Get well soon Oda and take some R&R), this chapter of Naruto really made up for it. Once again Kishimoto delivered another solid chapter. Theories that were thrown around in other sites like this have come to pass and fandoms are in uproar. It's interesting to come to this particular forum though and see the excitement but I recall a while back when this place was depressed from 16 chapters ago. It really is a 180 with this place today.

Anyway, it's good the NSers have their spirits up in thanks to Minato for confirming the Kushina<->Sakura parallel. Also, Naruto once again reconfirmed that he still has feelings for Sakura by answering his Dad's inquiry instead of her, though this shouldn't be a surprise at all. Another interesting point is Sasuke.

As we see here:

He acknowledges Sakura with the same type of enthusiasm as he had back in part 1 and the early parts of Shippuden.

Flashback:

He apologized in that one chapter. Yet Sakura who he also tried to kill couldn't get one either? Wtf? Damn it Sasuke show your old teammate some respect.
Now, Sasuke is aiming to be Hokage which is the only surprise in this chapter as I was not expecting that one. I wonder if this will eventually be the reason for the Naruto vs. Sasuke fight. I'm looking forward to that for sure.

Lastly, there's Sakura.

All I have to say is Wow! There's a reason why you're still my 2nd favorite Naruto character.

And this:

I've never been much of a Team 7 supporter back in Part 1 because most of their teamwork were really bad as a whole imo. It was mostly Naruto and Sasuke. Sakura was okay and that's putting it lightly. They had some moments but the anime shows it a bit better due to fillers. Now, I do like this panel because it is awesome to look at but I can't ignore the early days.

This Team is flawed to hell and really I would say Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi make up the Team 7 of now along with Sai who's been more of a teammate than Sasuke has ever been. But hey maybe I just don't care about Sasuke even though some of his portions in the manga were of interest.

okay so many people curios why minato can perform bijuu mode, well it's true to become a jinchuriki need a living body, and it's true that this kind of force in my taste but nevermind.

how can minato have bijuu mode is the same why gintama and kintama have the power of kyuubi while they are dead.
it's because before their dead it considered as their own power. and the one minato seal is the chakra not kyubi personalities.
so that's it. why madara got upset when he revived as zombie but not as jesus living human.

Im hype to see the Hokages vs Madara and the Jyubi, can't wait to see Tobirama fighting

Also it was nice to see team 7 reunited and be on the same side. I guess those 3 have surpass the original team sannin, so let's see wich role they will have in the future !

But whats up with Orochimaru ? Did he went to te present kages , or to see Kabuto ? maybe he is just there in the background also

Umm I don't understand. Why are you responding to me? I didn't say NS was canon due to this chapter. I said "It is well on it way to becoming canon." The fact that this chapter marked a huge milestone basically shows that NS was the intended couple, but we are on the "road to how it becomes canon", not "It is canon."

It's like going home from work and you have to use the highway. We get on with all these rude drivers who want the right away and honk at you if you try to take something away from them. This chapter is what I call the "off ramp" This is the ramp on the way to home and we're pretty close, but we are not home yet. That doesn't mean we are not going home, but it might mean we will run into maybe constructions sites (Character development) or might even have to dodge people who walk across the street (character confliction), stop at stop signs and red lights (story matters). That sort of thing.
