For those who wondered what happened to the podcast, well I f**cked it up. I apologize for not being smart enough to prevent something so simple. But yeah, I'm such an old man. Sigh. So anyway, I have a kick me sign, so feel free to do so. Just not in the face.

Well bad news. Thanks to NaruSaku4life3g putting copyright material in a chapter review, it has caused the youtube channel to be shut down. Which means I can no longer add more podcast to the youtube channel. So now, I am going to be uploading the podcast to my own personal channel for a time until....I don't know.
So...yeah.
Here is the new link to see the podcast.
http://www.youtube.c...r/JamesSCassidy
I might re-upload all podcast to this channel if/when I have time.
The other channel will remain open so the videos will still be available....for now.l

Sorry to hear about the channel, James. I have a strike against my account too because of my #615 review, although it should have fallen under fair use, but I didn't feel like filling out paper work. Regardless, lesson learned.
Keep posting on the new channel while you wait out the strike. We'll continue to support the podcast, no matter which channel it ends up on.

I agree with Slextrem on this one. I honestly didn't know what to say because I feel frustrated at both ends. Regardless, our support is always there.

I really kitten it up guys, and whether a sorry will do or not, I still want to apologize. To think a simple rule I couldn't do. I am behind time with YouTube, and I am unfamiliar with the rules and such. Honestly, I feel awful for causing this. So yeah, I am sorry. Take all your hate on me.

Why would I want to do that anyway? Is not like you willingly broke the rules. Take it easy on yourself man!
What frustrates me is how something so chaotic is made out of a mild issue. And before someone pops in and tries to give me a lesson on copyright, my point is that they should learn to be like someone who gave a time frame to my university group to get rid of some material that involved copyright infringement, because there is alwasy the benefit of the doubt (and part of that includes the fact that we might have accidentally overlooked something).

Well I was just saying if there's any blame, it's me. But yeah, it's rather stupid with the rule and crap. Sigh. We are being ruled.
It's okay. Most users on Youtube run into copyright infringement issues at one point or another.
One suggestion that I will make to you and James, assuming you will continue sharing the same channel, is that you first upload all of your videos as "private". That way, James can review them and see if there is anything that can be claimed under copyright before the public can see them and make copyright claims. If he finds something, he can delete the video and have you fix the issue without receiving a strike on his channel. If not, the settings can easily be changed back to "public".

I think what pisses me off more is that one infraction can destroy months of work. The fact that google is so tight about copyright issues....no, the fact that the whole world is so tight on copyright issues that even non-profit stuff can be filed under lawsuit. People may refer to "fair use," but as years go by these "fair use" rights are getting smaller and smaller to the point that one second or one panel of copyrighted material is a bannable or even lawsuit offense.
That's what I don't get about this. One time it is broken and they shut everything down. Just one time is all it takes. And then if you want to fight such a claim, google demands a whole file sheet that normally you would need a lawyer for. So it is a bit ridiculous how tight lipped it is for this crap.
Well if James is cool with that, sure. James?
Honestly, I don't know. We will see. Right now, I just got to get the podcast up and running again and the channel re-established.
I'll be honest, I am not happy about it and I was angry at you at first, but I am more pissed off at google. We'll they want to play hard ball, I am game.
Just for humor

Sadly, it got deleted due to an apparent copyright claim as well.
