Let's not forget that Sakura is doing this to protect Naruto and Konoha. She wants to do things on her own and stop relying on Naruto because she already has relied on him for too long, this time she wants to do things without relying on him. This time she wants to be the hero who will save everyone and not letting Naruto take the whole weight of the world in his shoulders. Shouldering every single problem as a burden Naruto believes he can only carry alone no one else but him.

Am I the only one who believe "Once More" as the chapter title is going to lead to a definite team 7 reunion next chapter? SM Naruto can lock on to Sasuke and Sakura chakra from miles away and let's not forget the uber speed and extreme hulk like jumps he can do in SM (Frog Sage Katus), so I'm confident he'll be there in no time to save Sakura. Naruto and Sakura on one side of the broken bridge while Sasuke alone on the other side, can you see the metaphor Kishi will show?

It's just like Jiraiya chasing after Tsunade because he is worried about her going to Orochimaru and I'm confident Naruto is thinking the same right now of Sakura and I believe the same scenario is about to happen.

Kishimoto DID say she was going to make her more of a heroin; though the only loopole in Sakura's plan is that Kakashi and Naruto are coming, which is probably the exact opposite of what she wanted. I know that Sakura wouldn't just abandon Naruto and Konoha like that, after all the development? Pff, no way! I guess this is another reason why I love this pairing almost everything there doing is for each other. Naruto-> Bringing Sasuke back; Sakura-> Bring Sasuke back for Naruto.
I actually think if Sakura and Sasuke were to fight right there, I honestly believe Sakura would win because Sasuke just had a major battle with Danzou and over-used his MS and even Madara said that Sasuke is losing his light.

As for Karin, geez, she sure is a fighter because she's still alive after be stabbed by LIGHTNING in the heart?!

And you know what else is true, is that this could finally be the resolution that this pairing needs to be cannon. Because now with this is place none of us will have to wonder what if? anymore. True the drama is intense, but thats what makes it interesting.

I don't think its thrown together. She was young, maybe she hadn't developed her abilities, or wasn't taught how. Sakura was the same during that period of time.

I think her flashbacks are a good thing. It finally gives her character a bit of depth for her Sasuke love. It was hinted at before, when they first met. She mentioned that she had been watching/following him.

Yeah, sure, it is easily explained away by 'she didn't know what she was doing', but that's what makes it seem so thrown together. It's the most cliche scenario you can get; rather than her having a unique background, she is sort of given a girl falls in love with boy because he saved her, shallow type of background. She is with Sasuke because of his smiling, angelic face (which is also out of character for Sasuke at the time). And Sasuke, as usual, gets everything (love, power, adoration) without doing anything to deserve it.

Sakura's trick was also thrown together unbelievably. Where Kiba should have been much more worried about the fact that Sakura just tried to put them to sleep, kishi instead has him focus on Sai. Which is the bigger threat at the moment? Sakura of course. It doesn't make sense, but Kishi had to make it work. That's how the rookies are made to look less ninja-y.

That's actually pretty accurate to how life works. Look at our own world and see what happens when good guys go up against bad ones. It usually works out pretty badly.

Everyone! Do Not Lose Hope, EVER!!!! Believe in Kishi and what he is writing. He is simply trying to write this moment into a more dramatic one. And it may not be such a bad thing that the story is finally heading in this direction. Team 7 is finally coming back together and we may finally be able to see a fandom result with the pairings finally being resolved. This arc, this moment may be the final moment EVER between naruto, sakura, and sasuke. We may finally resolve this!!!! Think about it, we may as well be rooting for this to happen than be sad or worried about it! We must have a positive attitude!

Just read the chapter and i seriously don't see what all the fuss is about.

some Sakura bashers were saying elsewhere that she would going without a plan but that is obviously not the case.

and karin's little backstory was kind of cute in an odd way have to reread the Chunin exams to see where it took place.

The flashback in the forest of death is really irrelevant, since it doesn't have much to do with what is going on right now, so I don't see why it's a big deal to get upset about that. Heck, I'm still wondering when and where Naruto taught Konohamaru the Rasengan. And many writers who do regular series of some sort often forget small details from previous stories and add in something that contradicts it.

I'm anal retentive, it's part of my job. So seeing minor details like that sort of throw me for a loop. And I do agree that there are many writers (some published) who often contradict themselves in their writing. It just happens. It certainly doesn't make me enjoy the story any less, it just irritates me in the same way the car defrost always leaves this patch un-defrosted somewhat in my line of vision.

QUOTE
As for Sasuke not taking in Sakura, actually, he might: As Madara says, Sasuke's vision is fading quickly, and his own healer may be dead (by his own hand, no less). Sakura is not only a medic, but she's been trained by the ULTIMATE medic-nin in the known Naruto world. She might be able to convince Sasuke that she can fix his vision so he can use Magenkyo as many times as he wants. On top of that, unlike Karin, we KNOW she can fight. So, as a pawn/tool, that just might appeal to Sasuke.

I agree with you here. Sasuke's last memory of Sakura before leaving Konoha is her pleadings to him to take her with him because she said she would do anything for him. When they met again in Grass Country, he didn't see any of her skills and there was nothing she did that would prove to him that she has changed her feelings for him since he hasn't interacted with her in years. And even if Sasuke wasn't going to take Sakura in as a teammate, she's great bait to use against Naruto.

QUOTE (RedDelicious @ Feb 10 2010, 07:21 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
As long as everyone is discussing the Karin flashback...

For some reason, I thought Karin was older than Team 7.
Combine that with how young she looks in the Forest of Death, and that she had to pick up her glasses...

Maybe she saw Itachi in her flashback.
She has latched onto Sasuke due to the family resemblance.

Don't know if this fits in the established timeline, but it is an alternate explanation.

I think Karin is the same age as everyone in Team 7. Also, Itachi wasn't around Konoha during the chunin exams held in the Forest of Death so it couldn't have been him.

My best excuse for explaining the Karin flashback is that Sauske used a genjutsu on Karin to make her think she saw him during the chunin exams. So impressed was she by the genjutsu vision of Sasuke saving her from a bear that she became his new loyal fangirl. I know it's not plausible, but it makes me feel better thinking about it that way. tongue.gif
End of line.

As he is now, Sasuke is too injured to take on the whole village; Madara himself said so. So, he will probably say something along the lines of "Okay, but we'll be heading back soon."

warning very crazy theoy

i belive that their is going to be a fight and i belive naruto is going to loose at some point(feel like sasuke going to get another powerup) i feel that sasuke if sakura has join him will well her to take naruto with them since of course he is an BUUJI sooo i think that this whole thing will become a trap and SINCE sakura is gong to become the heroine its going to ber her duity to save naruto from getting his buuji taken out of him, since one she will feel its her falt plus it seems crazy for kishi.

i feel that all of team seven will be in akastuki and sakura will be more foucus to save naruto the killing sasuke if this happens,

another theory is if NARUTO does also join akatsuki and allow them to use him, and in the end if he does what they wish it and then he will allow him madra to take out his buuji if it will get sasuke and madra to stop.

idk just trying to think out side the box

ok u can start saying these are riducules now

OK here my review :

First of all, I don't believe Sakura have betray Konoha (and certainly not for the sake of seeing her 'love' again), she's doing the double agent act. While I think that it pretty reckless of her, Sakura is not completely stupid (OK, I hear the anti-Sakura saying otherwise but I don't give a damn laugh.gif ). She know that she can't take Sasuke's down with her ability and especially not alone.

Of course, she could have fought him with the help that she had (like she made us believe first) but it would have been even more reckless. None of them I've seen Sasuke's power, they could presume that he became really powerful after what they have heard but they didn't see the full length of his ability.

Also, I think that she feel that it her responsibility to take down Sasuke herself. So far, she had always doubt herself went it came to help Naruto. In her point of view, all the things that she have done so far for him were small and insignificant. After what Sai had told her, we could see that she felt guilt for the pain she have cause to Naruto because of her past weakness of asking him to rescue Sasuke and not being able to help. She want to lift the 'curse' that Naruto have to bare because of her by taking out the other source of Naruto's pain, Sasuke.

When I see that chapter, some of the point that was a little blurr when it come to Sakura now seem to make completely sense. Betraying Konoha just because she still feel something for Sasuke is OCC of the Sakura we have seen so far but it will be totally against Kishi's vision to make her more 'heroin-like'. Personally,We don't know if she still love him (like Iruka-sensei one say in the episode 74, everyone's changing, so why can her 'love' for sasuke can't...Now, it the many SSers voices that I hear and to that I say, I don't care dry.gif ). Of course, she could still have some feeling for him and I think that, while it won't be the reason of 'joining' him', it will be a great opportunity to erase the rest of the 'love' she have for him. I doubt that she'll still love him when she see how far Sasuke is lost to his own darkness (she had a guess but seeing it will only confirm it). Man that was long laugh.gif

OK, as for the rest of the chapter. Sai vs Kiba, Akamaru, Lee and Sakura, can I just say that it was the lamest thing that I've ever see so far. Kiba and Lee have seen that Sakura didn't wanted any of their help to 'fight' Sasuke by trying to do the 'sleeping gaz no jutsu' on them yet, they still team up with her to take down Sai. For sure, Sai was right when he said that Akamaru seem smarter than his master because that was completely STUPID and lee wasn't any better.
Note : BOUAHAHAHAHAH!!!!The 'drug' faces of Kiba and Akamaru was priceless.

Now, as for Karin, one word that resume that girl in my eyes : LAME. For starter, the little flashback (while it was cute) was just a big waste of valuable space and second, 'SHE WANTED TO SEE THAT FACE ONCE MORE', the same person that have stab her and will finish her off headdesk.gif . I never particularly like her nor did I hate her but THIS IS COMPLETELY PATHETIC.

For the end of my already long review, my favorite part, NARUTO YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Fooling Yamato-taichou like that was very Naruto-ish laugh.gif .
Like Naruto would simply and quietly go back to Konoha and wait patiently for Kakashi and the rest to come back.
I just hope that Naruto will act the way he was acting against Pein because I like the mature side of Naruto.

I'm so exited to read the next chapters ( even if I probably still have to bare Sasuke aka the Chicken's butt head S.O.B).

OUF! That was the longest and the most tiresome feedback that I had to give so far. biggrin.gif

So I just read this chap and all I can say is this: I honestly don't think this is anything to worry about at all.

I mean we all figured they'd meet up, and Sakura knows she can't fight him one on one. So she does the logical thing: tries to join him, and eventually earn his trust to kill him/stop him however she has to.

I seriously doubt it's gonna be any romantic obligation or anything like thatxD I mean we've had all this Narusaku development for so long-it just wouldn't make sense for Sakura to suddenly forget about Naruto and turn all fangirly for Sasuke again. Not to mention majorly OOC. We know that she truly cares for Naruto-most recently her "confession" when she says sorry to him(even the confession part was somewhat fake you can't deny there's feelings there and she meant it when she said sorry) and when she decides to go after Sasuke herself. It wasn't because she "had to see her true love again", it was because she wants to protect Naruto and the village. And we know that yes, she does still care for Sasuke-but we know she wants to stop him from hurting everyone, especially Naruto. She is doing this for the village's sake, but mostly for Naruto, IMO.

As for Sasuke accepting her offer,I think two things could happen here.One- He accepts. He's in bad shape and needs a good medic ninja, so makes sense to me.It'll be interesting storywise, and it makes me wonder how she's gonna follow through with her mission.

On the other hand, if he doesn't accept her offer I think a fight will ensue between the two. Either way, I think Naruto will also catch up to them and either try to stop Sakura or help her fight, depending on how the story goes.

Either way I can't wait to see the next chappie! smile.gif And hang in there NaruSaku fans, I think we'll get some awesome NaruSaku moments soon!

If I remember correctly, Kishi did say that Sakura was being honest in her 'confession'.
