As much as it truly pains me to say it, as I'm one of the original Nintendo fangirls from the old school days of Nintendo NES and Super NES...I don't have much faith left in me for Nintendo satisfying their discarded hardcore gamer crowd, in favour of their new favourite 'casual gamer' crowd

Haha XD

Last year they were heavily criticized for focusing their keynote on the casual gamer. They Demoed Wii Music and Wii Sprots Resort, however there wasnt much of a presence from their staple franchises.
Among the Rumors for this year
New Mario Wii Game
A focus on games
And plenty of demonstrations of Motion Plus
Can Nintendo satisfy the Hardcore gamers while they continue to expand the market? We'll see in less than an hour.

Now wii fit

A new final fantasy crystal chronicles and a trailer for Kingdom Hearts for the DS. Kingdom Hearts looked awesome, and comes out september 29th
SUPER MARIO GALAXY 2! That definetly helped.
Metroid Other M
Better PC than last years. You can put it near microsoft. Finally, they are making some more games for the hardcore gamer.

Super Mario Galaxy 2
New Super Mario Bros Wii
Metroid from Team Ninja
The Conduit
Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles
Final Fantasy Crystal Bearers
And The DS is getting
Kingdom Hearts: 3581/2 Days
Golden Sun
Nintendo did a good job of balancing games for the Hardcore and Casual, Im pleased.
Now lets see if Sony can have a good Keynote of their own.
Sony's Press Conference will begin @ 2:00PM EST and will last for 2 hours
Last year they showed off their first party titles, announced MAG, and unveiled the Playstation Video Store
This Year's rumors
PSP GO!
PS3 Slim or Pricecut
New Exclusives for the PS3
and a rumor that's been picking up steam recently is that Mass Effect 2 will make an appearance at the show
Sony's got work to do, and they'll have plenty of time to show these "shockers" they've been teasing.

Socks were officially blown off at the reveal of Metroid: Other M. Of all of Nintendo's franchises that they could announce a new title for, Metroid was the one I was least expecting. Judging by the trailer shown, it looks like it will be either an adaptation or retelling of the manga.
And Mario Galaxy 2! Though it seems a little weird to make another one, I'll undoubtedly buy this and probably love it just as much as the first.
On the 360 side, I've got my eye on MGS Rising, Alan Wake, and Shadow Complex.

Microsoft: Alan Wake, Metal Gear Raiden, and Monkey Island. Avatars getting free/achievement/paid clothing. HUGE social extension of Xbox Live with Facebook/Twitter/Sky/Last.fm. And of course the big one, Project Natal, which looks very promising.
Nintendo: Mario Galaxy 2, new 4-player Mario Bros, and Metroid! (the pulse sensor was a real WTF moment, though.

Sony: Uncharted 2. Final Fantasy XIV - NOT a typo! It's a new MMORPG for the PS3. God of War III. ANOTHER motion controller, in the shape of a new PlayStation Eye and wands!
All three consoles are going to have motion sensing. Out of all three, I have to say Microsoft's has the most potential as it's full-body sensing (how good that is, is another question), plus its facial and voice recognition. If all three console manufacturers really push the motion controls, we'll see a real revolution in gaming from 2010 onwards... or drown in minigame hell.

I need a lie-down. All three conferences were amazing. E3 is well and truly back.

No Wii Zelda is disappointing, but Team Ico's game and Uncharted look amazing, and Golden Sun (finally) gets a third game. Mario Galaxy sequel looked nice - shame it won't be out 'til next year.

Where's Gran Turismo 5?
That game will never come out... damn vaporware.

Sony had a great showing. Definitely a good set of games lead me to getting a PS3 later this year.
I really want to get Golden Sun 3 but I lack a DS so I'll have to get a torrent.
Must make a purchase/wish list....
