Honestly, I didn't see Harry/Hermione as something that would happen, because I didn't see any clear-cut romantic hints between them. Whereas NaruSaku has Naruto continually showing his feelings for Sakura and asking her out on dates, while Sakura has slowly started to develop feelings beyond friendship for Naruto. Yamato and Sai going "Sakura, you really do...", and that ramen scene? We just need Haruno Sakura to figure out what's going on in her heart!

I hope too...but while NS doesn't seem too close to H/Hr, NH is rather similar to HG. I did not see Harry reciprocate Ginny's feelings...until they started snogging all of a second.
I think what Sakura feels atm is very 2nd hand to what Naruto feels. While non of us wants to admit it, it is very much possible for NH to happen now, as say opposed to 1 chapter ago. It's strange...1st time in a long time I have more confidence in Sakura than Naruto.

Well, that's how you see it. Same way how NaruHina's and SasuSaku's don't see NaruSaku. Each person takes from what they read what they believe is there, and enjoys what they are reading from their own point of view. I personally never saw Harry/Ginny coming and will never see how that came about.

Let me rephrase:
I never saw any romance between anyone. I did hope for Harry/Hermoine though.
I should read the last book....

In my little NaruSaku fantasy it would go like this:-

'Hinata, how dare you do that! I might consider killing you myself'
'Uhh..w-What are you talking about Sakura?'
'Stupid idiot, jumping in on my man! I was going to confess my feelings, I would have saved him if I knew where the hell he was! Plus you were being selfish, he has to fight pein AND protect you!'
'Uh-uh, you can have him, i know you love him more.'
'I know I love him more, too'

-Hinata dies-

'Oh....whoops. Well, now I can find Naruto and confess'

Sorry about the abrupt death and the generally very unlikely scene!

Sakura isn't going to throw herself intot the battle becuase she knows that if she does she'll die and won't be able to spend the rest of her life with Naruto.
Well, thats my theory.

In a shoujo manga, NaruHina would probably happen---'shy girl gets the guy she likes, even though she hardly talks to said guy' is quite common in that type of manga. Luckily, though, this isn't shoujo... It's shounen.

Exactly, and its just generally cliche in shonen the boy gets the girl he likes and in shojo, the girl gets the boy she likes.

If Hinata IS living after all of that..there's a chance that she won't be for very long...one of my intended scenario's is exemplified in the "Sakura recognizes the Kyuubi Chakra and goes off, finds Hinata close to death"

Sakura would cry, try to heal Hinata but is shellshocked to find she doesn't have anymore chakra left to heal him.

"Take care of Narutokun for me Sakura-San"

Sakura's pretty hysterical at this point.

"Why me!?"

Hinata only smiles a bit and looks up at her with blood trailing gathering more and more underneath her.

"I always wondered why Naruto-kun cared about you so much, when you hit him and ridiculed him all the time, but now..i realize that his eyes were always reflected back at you.."

And then she puts her hands on Sakura's cheek ;_;

"Because your eyes, when reflected in the mirror i found, are the same as mine."



(PS I also found H/HR and N/S similar(along with SS/RHR and HG/NH, although you could also see a few similarities with RHR and NS as well.)

Hinata getting with Naruto at this stage of the game without proper development or even proper reciprocation is something that i don't see Kishi doing..my only concern is that he'll succumb to pressure from the peanut gallery(aka 2ch) and do something completely illogical.

Yeah. But I hate the fact that they are not confirming anything!! First kakashi and now hinata. (even though I think they are both probably dead)

Honestly? Hinata. I like Kakashi more than Hinata, and I think Hinata death would serve a storytelling purpose, whereas Kakashi's story isn't over yet.

And no, I DON'T hate Hinata (who is nothing more than a fictional character) and I don't want her dead because her demise would get her out of the way (she never was in the way for start with).

They should know that Naruto ONLY got pissed because one of his friends just 'died' with him powerless on the ground.

On the top of his sensei dead, his OTHER senseis dead (or so he thinks), the village he vowed protecting getting razed to the ground, his other friends badly injured, the feeling of his ideals and hopes are a fool's dream...

And I agree. I think if any of Narutos friends stepped in and got stabbed (or died) in front of him he would have done the same thing (Go Kyubii) for them too.
