Thanks to the Debate thread, I got some good research for Natsumi's dialogue and responses towards the NH/SS couple fiasco. As I said before, it may be tricky, but it will work out at the end.

I took to to the next level so to speak, and solving the relationships will also have to do with some power-ups, bue hue hue hue hue.

Oh, trust me. The relationships will be a wild ride, especially when I'm handling the "canon" couples' fallouts! The drama llamas, as our once member Yoko always mentioned when she was active here, are coming big time!

Inspiration

A popular franchise did a theme of manipulation. "Incorporating" this show's ideas into my epic.

OH MY I am so curious to see that manipulation thing.

 

At some point I wanted to use this manipulation aspect for Sakura's background. But then I changed it because I went for another concept that I think it fits her better given all the symbolism and everything.

 

I'm so curious to see where you're doing with this manipulation thing, haha.

Progress:

 

Well, I'm a bit of of a stump when summarizing the current chapters of Part 1 so here's the reason. SPOILERS:

 

Upcoming stuff but major obstacles

So the first thing is that I'm trying to find a trigger to the Naruto and Natsumi fight. I'm currently trying to figure what could be the trigger that causes Naruto in such a lousy and bad mood that result in a grand fight. Now in my head, since Naruto (sticking with chapter 700), is a current alcoholic, I'm thinking that most of the time before he head home to deal with Hinata and the kids, especially Boruto, he goes to a popular bar to drown his troubles. Basically, I'm thinking the bar is where Naruto and his peers hang out for parties and what not and even included a karaoke machine. Natsumi started to become a regular as the bar isn't doing good, beside Naruto being a regular. She was able to save it, thanks to her incredible singing voice.

 

So I envisioned that Natsumi sees this and tries to stop him until he is about to get violent, resulting a huge fight outside Konoha, in an abandoned field during a thunderstorm.

 

Next is the fight itself, resulting Kurama appearing. How? Well, the mind works in extraordinary ways...

 

Then comes the aftermath and result which led to Naruto into a state of depression. I want to make this real good because of how Naruto, the main titular character became the result of this. As we know for almost 6 years after the manga ending, I need to work on how to somehow redeem his character and his integrity. As all this happening, we're going to talk about Sakura.

 

All of this leads down to a revelation, to a shocking reveal that leads to "the end" of a certain couple. The Drama Llamas will be in full force and then leading to the event part of my surprise of karma and fate will be involved, resulting a tragedy.

I have the first three chapters already planned. My main problem is laying out the whole thing properly, at the moment.

 

Because ideas keep popping but then I hit a wall on another thing I wanted to introduce so then I have to think in so many ways to to make it fit.

 

It's a mess currently, lol.

 

But I trust once it's going to be done, it will be a beautiful mess, lol.

 

Really curious to see how you deal with the karma thing. I kinda also have it in the story, but not so much in your face.

 

However I will have instances of karma/dharma when dealing with certain stuff...

 

I find it really interesting that you're gonna tell this story from an OC's pov kinda. 

 

It's like... your own way to put the audience in the story and fixing it, I think?

 

Yeah, that's how I'm seeing it, at least.
