what is your favorite ost?

mine would be theater D at the end of ep 14. the way he finally see the dead bodies lying on the ground, or the way the broken subaru staggered to a friend's corpse, it was so impactful and apocalyptic

I would have to say Stay Alive. I think it's the second ending.

Ha, that was totally my first impression and why I held off on it so long. It's actually good though, not great imo, but entertaining. And that's coming from someone who hates SAO. Re:Zero is definately better than that waste of time.

Who are your favorite characters so far?

I like Rem and Subaru, I think. I'm a little on the fence with Emilia. I want to like her, but she comes across a bit bland to me. I hope the second season, assuming there will be one, will change that impression.

One thing that really stood out to me with Re:Zero is that Subaru has a much more realistic portrayal than mc's usually seen in these types of stories, which are generally flat as a sheet of paper and less interesting than watching paint dry ( yes I'm looking at you SAO). His reactions to his situation make sense, and he experiences clear character growth. Which, honestly, was a lot more than I'd hoped to expect going in.

yup, anime almost finished arc 3 and emilia, beatrice, and satella will get the spotlight in arc 4 (arc 4 is longer than arc1/2/3 combined)

season 1 re zero was made with 2 years preparation so i think we're going to wait some more time.. and now that stein gate 0 is back in production (another series by white fox)
