i agree kakashi should have been killed off. i was tired of him and thought he had nothing else to show us (turns out kishi thought it was good idea to give him susanoo, spamming kamui and a hokage title
)
ya I'm with you there he getting the susanoo was the dumbest thing ever and funny how pretty much everyone hates those chapter yet they love the ending. Really Kakashi never really did anything after the Land of Waves then again with Hidan and Pain and that pretty much it since he was kind of useless during the war. As a teacher he only taught Sasuke, heh Screw Sakura and Naruto, seriously he only taught Sakura tree climbing and only taught Naruto tree climbing and the stuff with the wind justu.

I agree. Kakashi's death seemed to have a real impact on the reader considering that volume was one the best selling volumes Naruto ever had. While his character may have been wildly popular I personally think he would have become a more memorable character had he not been revived, much like Jiraiya. However with Tobi being Obito it was a no brainer that Kakashi had to remain alive for plot purposes.

Kakashi teach naruto rasen shuriken.
He just teach sasuke chidori and nothing else.
He teach nothing for sakura for some reason Eventhought she could learn genjutsu and elemental ninjutsu from him.
Yes, he's useless without his sharingan.
He's practically a weaker version of hiruzen with op sharingan.
He may be fan favorite but he's not kishi favorite.
@blackbird
I agree.

Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking. At least Jiraiya died with his storyline intact and untarnished by Kishimoto's post-Pain downward spiral. I can only imagine how much Kishi would have screwed Jiraiya up if he'd been allowed to live.
Yeah, Kakashi was kept alive so Obito could have the spotlight just like Neji was killed so Hinata could shine. It's just sucky writing at it's finest.
You know, come to think of it, I don't know of any character that came out better off from the post-Pain plot. Except Hinata of course.
But not even Sasuke faired better. No redemption, no return to Konoha, no resurrection of his clan. Even the ability to accept the love and give love in return to his wife and child has escaped him. Sasuke is an armless, odd-eyed wanderer, completely alone in the world, utterly paranoid and searching out unknown menaces for unknown purposes. Not to protect Konoha from a distance (like Jiraiya), not to protect his family (like Minato)...just because he wants answers to questions or has to make amends for his actions. The vaguest of reasons. No, Sasuke would have been better off sticking with Team Taka after he killed Itachi and never returning to the village. He would have made a better mercenary loner than he would a soulless, armless, pointless wanderer.
lol - ok I'll stop now!!

Statement: In hindsight, Kakashi should have remain dead back at Pain Invasion Arc.
Agree or disagree?
Disagree.
In fact I say that if anybody should have died for good it should have been Tsunade. It would have been a great moment for Sakura's character and it would have been better had Kakashi been killed off by Sasuke later. Dropping the fact that Kakashi is my favorite character and that I would have loved to see him become hokage and beat up Sasuke I think it was good to have him survive and ultimately wasted potential for one reason. Kakashi up to 693 was a fantastic mentor for the group. Many ppl on the forum had acknowledged that he was one of the few ppl to consistently back Sakura up and treat her with respect. But than 693 happened.
I still say keep Kakashi alive for one last reason: let him be killed by Sasuke and go the way of the 4th. Than Naruto and more importantly Sakura can finally realize that they do need to grow up, Naruto can break a cycle of hate (Students in his mentors' pasts who have turned on their masters causing global terrorism, not some stupid yay friendship story) and it would be the perfect moment for Sakura to grow up as well. Now both of her teachers are gone and she must rely on herself. No Kakashi to keep her out of lava or stop Sasuke from killing her. She would be forced to grow up.
and just for the sake of it screw 693, I have a lightsaber

Statement: In hindsight, Tsunade would have been best to get killed off in Pain Invasion Arc over any other time.
Agree or disagree?
Hmmm. I could go either way, but I'll say agree in that I think if Kishi had opted to end the manga with Pein it would have been a really powerful moment where Naruto lost two key figures in his life and was forced to step forward and mature as a result.

Agree or disagree?
Agreed.
Tsunade added almost nothing during the war arc, futhermore her death could have sparked some kind of development into Ino and Sakura for example; Danzo living on as the sixth hokage would alos be pretty interesting and it would make the whole war situation a lot more gray
the whole Deus Ex Machina with the Rinnegan at the end of the Pein arc was just awful tbh

Agreed. I think it would've made Naruto and Sakura stronger and it would've bonded their bridges.

Hell yes it would made their bonds stronger if they did that.

Orochimaru could be the final villain and I think he has the capability to do that. I mean what's the different between orochimaru and madara. Both of them are absorber.Why?
Neji and chouji are not need to die simply because I don't see the point of them to die, unless naruto end in part 1.
