There IS a big chance that pizza sauce-chan de gozaru might come back at the end of the cour. It's KEY and Maeda after all!

 

My thoughts exactly, they could get a chance to redo things, they could all be dead, they could be in a artificial world. You can never be certain with Maeda and KEY stories. It's why I'm only watching snippets and will watch the whole thing near the end otherwise i'll spend all my time inbetween episodes trying to figure out the reality of that world. Heck for all we know the reality is they are all stuck in a mental assylum and this is the reality they created to escape their pain.

 

Its always wierd with KEY, on one side you know it's their creation, as they all share the same DNA yet you can't be sure how things will end. Where usually once you figure out a style you can predict the end, the only thing you can know here is that the world is not as it seems.

I am unfamiliar with how this studio works with their anime plot. But i also believe that imouto-chan may still be alive.

Im guessing she was taken in as a lab rat of some sort..knowing that her powers are a bit on the extreme side.

Thanks. I was too caught up in the matter when i typed that post. And yeah it is easier to confide in a forum where nobody knows you as the people around me right now are on the edge and i have to keep a strong front for them.

soooo i wonder if this new character will be significant or just another passing one...??

 

Actually I am glad that they didn't dragged out the MC's depressed state... it isn't like he is fully recovered so it isn't really sudden nor unfeeling on his part. It was a good push for his character development. I'm not shipping him with Nao but i won't mind if it happens, its better to not have much romance on this tho, just a feeling. 

 

On the otherhand the comedy still doesn't appeal to me. The Yusarin idol girl doesn't fit her singing voice or maybe i'm just a bit annoyed with the poor drawn humor. its forgivable once or twice but ugh right now i'm just ignoring those scenes.

She was voiced by the same VA, both lead singler/guitarists, and had red hair, it got me thinking if this was set in the same universe. As I do remember there being talks of the anime studio and Key working on a sequel, I wonder if that ended up getting scrapped and the idea was reworked into this.

 

THat would be epic, unlikely but epic non the less.

Charlotte really feels rushed by now, but it is 13 episodes so I'm not that surprised. 

 

You mean Iwasawa from Angel beats? My sister told me that the song the Blind singer sang in this weeks episode, is the same song Iwasawa played before she disappeared. 

 

Charlotte's characters really reminded me of Angel beats's characters, or is it just me?

I'm so disappointed with this seriea tbh. I cannot connect or bring myself to really care for any of the characters, which is partially b/c of the rushed pacing and outright terribly written comedy. More than anything however, the character interactions need more depth. It's obvious that something's going on b/w the MC and Nao, but Key, you gotta make it more believable.
Oh, and Yusa: Your music video sucked.
In comparison, I cared and loved every character from Clannad- and I've only seen 5 episodes so far! Even the comedy was done right in my eyes. But Charlotte... It's hinted to have some great overarching storyline/plottwist, but the execution is just so awkward.

Well for the 7 episodes there's out by now, the only thing I can say is that it feels really rushed. I don't really wanna say how it's rushed, cause I don't wanna spoil you XD 
For now I can't really say if it's worth watching or not, but I think you should give the first episode a try.

As of right now: I'd personally say no. The transitions b/w horrible comedy and cringeworthy drama is very jarring. Several characters that truly are close to crossing the line with their exaggerated or cutified personalities.

Others seem to be enjoying the show a lot more though, but as of right now, this is definitely not KEY's strongest anime.

I won't list them all, it would take too long, lol.

 

But some are: Silver Spoon, Youjouhan Shinwa Taikei, Kimi ni Todoke, Gangsta, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (been meaning to watch it since it came out, never got around to it), Nabari no Ou, Kyoukai no Kanata, Chihayafuru, Toradora, Skull Man, Princess Tutu (I've heard it supposed to be really good and not as cutesy as it sounds, so I'm going to try it), Mousou Dairinin, Jigoku Shoujo, Samurai Champloo... and it goes on.

 

I'll probably try Gintama and Hunter x Hunter sometime, since everyone says such good things about them, but they're both so long I don't know when I'll get around to those.

 

Those are just some of the ones I haven't seen at all yet, not counting anything I'm currently watching. Right now I'm almost finished with Mawaru Penguindrum, and it's definitely as crazy as it sounds but at the same time I'm ridiculously entertained.

IMO its good. Nothing spectacular but something nice to watch in between other anime. I think he down side if this show is that it kinda wasted some episodes with random encounters or maybe it will bring some importance later on but right now i felt they should have just alotted an episode or so with the student council missions and develop the more important parts. Yes it feels rush and the humor gets old really fast.

The only thing hilarious here is the fact that as of the moment, most of my gut feel were true based on the latest 8th episode. I mean down to the core. I could be wrong but i feel like the makers of this anime is obviously telling us what had happened and how we should be feeling .. in a very obvious way.

But to cut this long drabble.. i still feel like watching it but i dont know why. I also saw your watchlist and maybe you can just try the 1st episode and decide from there. It really differs from one person to another. There are some anime out there which people seem to totally love and worship but i cant get pass 3 episodes.

It was pretty obvious that they want us to ship yu and nao.. so we can get to feel something when they meet THE older brother.. yes it finally appeared. The oniisama who will or let me put a bit of doubt there...make Yu jealous or some shiz.


And wooot.. guess imouto pizza sauze is indeed alive. Maybe. lel. Or in another timeline. I guess this is the time they aren trying to make us confuse..

But really now.. i just hit the bullseye again. They are indeed experimental rats before the series began. And something happenned to make mc forget..

Guess the 3 siblings are quite .. or should i say TOO powerful.. just who are their parents? So the MC's real power is "plunder" which copies the power of another.. or was it stealing the power?

Well, I expected noting more from the voice actress, she voiced Iwasawa in Angel beats too. And I believe Iwasawa sang a English song!

Yeah, preference varies greatly person to person. There are some anime that a lot of people love and I don't really get why; Sword Art Online, Black Butler, and Guilty Crown are some that I really hated, but a lot of others really love them. I haven't decided on this one yet, though I'll probably give the first couple episodes a try sometime and go from there.

 

Oh, and kissanime is down for me too. There's problem with their video host and it'll be fifteen days to a months before it's back up. It sucks because that site's the only one I've found that I can use for downloading.
