In SOG Toei are killing us, the good thing about DB would be longer I think and Toei  has more time to make more things better I hope for the fans of DB.

Just started watching this, does this series basically override what happened in Battle of Gods? It kinda looks like it lol

Just started watching this, does this series basically override what happened in Battle of Gods? It kinda looks like it lol

They're basically doing a recap of Battle of Gods and Revival of F and then approaching a new storyline when the recaps are done

 

Battle of Gods is still canon, it's basically a resumed and more well drawn version of what will happen in this series

I guess that makes sense. I didn't remember Beerus destroying those other planets in the movie and such.

I usually don't mind Toei. I do notice that King Kai's VA is kinda bad though lol

It's just that the japanese VA is very old and his lines doesn't have the same impact as before

Not only that, but when the animation shows King Kai yelling, to voice doesn't match. King Kai is supposed to be yelling, yet the voice is all soft and calm.

Literally one second after Krillin started talking in today's episode I started losing it XD I noticed Pilaf when I watched episode 5 but didn't give it much thought.
