The rest of the Jinchuriki besides Naruto, Gaara (now a former), Killer Bee and a bit of Yugito, lives and appearances throughout the entire manga. So far, I felt that was so random and most of them were interesting (Fuu for example), yet the potential was thrown out of the window.

 

Seriously, that could've been the plot of Part 2 instead of chasing Sasuke and bringing him back.

There was a point, and now there no longer is. That's why it's called a retcon. NS isn't some unexplored romance subplot that was just brushed aside. It was something of much greater importance, something that defined characters and shaped the story. Kishimoto retroactively dismantling it and all it stood for is his perogative, however it's still a retcon, and pretty blatant and damaging one at that.

Naruto couldn't handle Tenten. She was  the only woman at the rookie meeting who was pissed off that they all weren't al going after Sasuke to kill him. She actually thinks like a real ninja.

Was there a point to Sai saying Naruto loved Sakura? Or Yamato hinting that Sakura love Naruto? My guess is it had something to do with merchandising.

Forget about Sakura and her genjutsu ability, what happened to Sakura being anything else than pairing fodder? The girl who wanted to became someone and was taking pride in the thought she could finally be on the same level as her boys? Nope, that was probably just a hobby to her until Sasuke came back so she could finally do what she was always meant to do-continue fangirling over him.

 

And what the heck happened to Sasuke? He could be annoying as heck but at least some goals and his own way of thinking no matter how wrong or weird they were. And now he is just so chill and good again because Naruto, what, beat the evil out of him?

 

Don't even get me started on the whole NS business. I'm not even gonna cry about them not getting together even though that is one mayor missed opportunity at a real romance and great lessons for everyone. But reducing their beautiful relationship that went far beyond any conventional friendship, their unbreakable bond and the instinctive ability to recognize what the other needed without them saying a word, even before they became close to 'ah I liked you because of my rivalry with Sasuke'.  Just what the... Naruto wanted Sakura just because she was 'Sasuke's girl'? Read your own manga Kishi, Sasuke didn't give a damn about Sakura! If Sakura did get together with Naruto back then, that wouldn't be any victory for Naruto because... oh yeah that's right... Sasuke wouldn't give a damn!

Agree. It should've been naruto and sasuke as the final pair if that is true.
