 I was just looking at my unfinished fanfic for the contest and I noticed in my outlines that I was going to have Sakura gift Naruto a new jacket and a.... scarf. This was way before I saw the scans yesterday and I completely forgot that detail until now. Should I take it out? I just don't want people to assume that I included the scarf because of the recent movie promotion.

What a funny coincidence. Actually, I'd suggest playing on this scarf episode (some mild reference to the fandom reaction) rather than cutting it out. )))

Yeah I don't think I'll be able to write something like that. Doesn't quite fit with what I'm trying to write. I guess I'll keep it though. It shouldn't be that big of a deal.

This scarf theory is just a fanfiction, a product of the wild imagination of NH fans. 

 

But this image - this is canon, drawn by Kishimoto himself and it actually matters...

Most of the anime sketches have Naruto as a comparison sketch in the back. It means nothing for the pairings. You sound as desperate as SS fans when they were hyping that cowboy drawing.

I am not looking too much into it. Naruto is a Kamen Rider fan! Instead of a transforming belt he uses a transforming bandana! When Iruka gave him his bandana in reality he was secretly passing on him the Rider title!

 

I AM TELLING YOU! THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE!

 

Now, seriously. For a long while in Japan entertainment the scarf was the equivalent to the cape in Western entertainment. If you check sixties and seventies' tokusatsu and super-hero anime shows,  you will see that a lot of heroes wore scarves.

Kouji Kabuto from Mazinger-Z also was going to wear a scarf, but Kamen Rider premiered before Mazinger-Z so that Go Nagai scrapped the idea.

 

And you can find characters of current shows such like Mikasa -mentioned above- wearing a scarf.

 

The point is... what is the big deal with the scarf? He will it because he is cold or in order to look cool  pretending being Kamen Rider . God Almight, Why EVERYTHING has to be related to pairings?

those aren't drawn by Kishimoto, but anime staff... You can recognize it easily from the total different art style.

If you ask me, it somewhat begs the question: secret is out, why Sasuke is left behind on this? Kind of saying, "I live far away now!"

*reads the title of the thread* seriously, SERIOUSLY! I can't believe there's a thread about this. There's still no official trailer release because obviously waiting for the manga to end. Yet something that is PURELY a rumor. This is just another desperate argument/theory from the NH fandom one that is so ridiculous I just laugh using a piece of clothing to prove their pairing. Let's assume Naruto and Sakura are together in the movie and if Hinata did gave him that scarf (and that's a big "if") what does it mean? That NH is canon? That Naruto is cheating on Sakura? Like I said one scarf WON'T over rule 500+ manga chapters of NS development. Desperation can make someone do and think the most ridiculous of things.

Anyway, now we know why Naruto is ending. Its first spin-off is about to begin. It will be called Kamen Rider Vulpes (Latin word for "fox"). It will be located in Konoha and will feature Naruto riding a bike (if Nagato can ride a mecha, Naruto can ride a bike) and fighting the evil organization Akatsuki. Shortly after being born, Akatsuki tried to kill their parents to seize his mother's mystic power. However, they were defeated, and with her last breath, Minato helped to Kushina to pass her arcane power on their son. Fifteen years later Naruto pretends to be an average, clumsy ninja, but when evil threatens his hometown, he uses his mother's bandana to transform into Kamen Rider Vulpis. Wearing a fox-shaped body armor that allows him wield his spirit fox powers without harming himself he fights against the evil organization that slew his parents and plans to take over the world. Only three beings know his secret: Sakura, Tsunade and Man-At-Arms-... I mean, his master Kakashi.

 

Starting the next season in TV-Tokyo. And it willl have no Sasuke.
