No problem :) I try to stay positive about a lot of things and this was one of them (especially when there was absolutely no need to worry obsessively in the first place haha ), hopefully everybody will start to lighten up about it now.

To be honest I think the only reason why a lot of us are worried about NS is because we just saw another ship sink to the bottom.
But I was never worried.
I think the underlying problem is that most of us put our faith into one analysis, and then when that's proven wrong we become weak. I'm talking about Sakura being out of love with Sasuke here. I personally believe that she was over-coming Sasuke until she saw him pop up during the war- this is where she really began to start questioning how she felt for Sasuke. But, everytime she questioned how "he" felt, her eyes showed nothing but worry and sadness. Especially when he left her to die along with Kakashi. Imagine how that must have felt.
So of course Sakura still "thinks" she's in love with Sasuke, because she's never taken the time to figure out her own feelings. Also, when confessing to a person, it's very reasonable to use the term in present tense- why? Because it's more powerful. Sakura using "love" romantically in present tense was her last attempt at making Sasuke stay. If he didn't challenge Naruto, then his answer would be infered as "yes". But, of course, that didn't happen. And instead she got a nice serving of "stabbing genjutsu" with a side of "heartbreak". (Poor baby.)
What will happen now? Well many things, but the most logical are:
1. Sakura is finally, and I mean finally, going to get over her love of Sasuke. We also need to take into account of what that jutsu is going to do to her mentally. If foreshadowing accounts to anything, she's going to end up hating Sasuke after she wakes up. And then it will be Naruto's or Kakashi's job to talk her out of that. Sakura's not really the strongest person emotionally, so I highly doubt that she won't be pissed after this.
2. Narusaku will (might) happen. Naruto's promise to Sakura is absolutely important to him, and that counts. See, I've never really thought of Narusaku as a "now" couple. It's a couple that can only be successful in the future. Sakura still needs time to heal. Naruto needs to deal with higher priorities. Only once these requirements are met will Narusaku become "good" canon. They both need to figure out their feelings towards Sasuke in order for this relationship to work, and because of that chapter 693 was completely necessary. This was Sakura getting her answer. After this (unnecessary) fight is over, then the peace-making can begin.
3. Naruto will develop his feelings for a girl (and I say this because Hinata still exists). When he was talking to his father, he said he didn't have that much experience with girls. That sentence was there for this reason: he never had time to figure out his feelings! And he's absolutely right. He is inexperienced. But after Sasuke's redemption, he'll finally have his first priority out the way, which will then lead to him focusing on other aspects of his life. At this point in time, it can either be NS, NH, or NarutoxRandomGirl. But for NS's case, Naruto has to know for sure that Sakura's feelings for Sasuke romantically are to lesser extent (and I say lesser extent because I feel as though Naruto wouldn't be bothered if Sakura still loved Sasuke after being with him, sadly). And because of that, he's going to confess. (Unless Kishimoto forgot he wrote that in which I would not be surprised...)
So basically, NS is still underdeveloped, which is why we need to have hope for the future. But as for SS, after this chapter, if they end up getting together, then it won't negate the fact that that ship has the worst underlying message about romance.
Also, Minato left this world with the impression that Sakura is Naruto's lover. And Sakura is the only romantic interest to meet his father. And it was Sakura that helped bring him back to life. It was Sakura who gave Naruto his first "female" lips. So even if NS doesn't happen, it sure did get a lot done.
I hope I cheered somebody up!

To be honest, if Sakura doesn't truly love Naruto then I don't want him to end up with Hinata because that would be a boring couple (Loudmouth and shy/quiet doesn't work). I want to see him end up with someone else, I don't know, Ino or Karin...

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't end up with anyone, thanks to shipping wars. I'm pretty sure Kishimoto isn't blind to them (his editors have had to have told him something) and in order to please fans it might become an open ending. I don't know how to feel about that, because although I would loooove for none of them to get together, wars would still resume (also I want to see Naruto's kids).
But, to stay positive, I think that in due time Sakura will completely get over Sasuke. I really do.

As long as Naruto loves Sakura, this pairing will still live. *positive* Nothing in the manga states he's over her.
I do think Sakura still loves Sasuke. But I also think once she wakes up, she can finally move on. He will be redeemed (lets face it, he has to otherwise the main character failed his friend and that's a no-no in shounen manga), and once he is, Sakura can move past her old feelings because she is not bound by wanting to save him anymore. Sakura will have truly moved on if she picks Naruto over Sasuke when Sasuke is on the "good" side.

I totally need this thread right now cause that new CD cover had me like....*facepalm*.
All I have to say is, at the end of the day, most of us can agree that Narusaku is the best couple in this series. They have the most interaction, the most chemistry, and the healthiest relationship/friendship out of all the "Big Three". Both of them genuinely like each other, romantically or not. And that counts for something.
Just remember: The only girl Minato was introduced to was Sakura. Naruto's first crush was Sakura. Naruto's first lip contact with a girl was Sakura. All of that counts. And therefore I could care less what becomes canon!
If NH, or SS, or whatever else becomes canon then so be it. Because deep down inside, we know that NarutoxSakura will be/should have been the main couple. And I will continue to ship it.

The shipping war seems more intense right now, with the end being near and everyone being restless. Don't worry too much about those being jackasses about it--I'd say they're acting that way because they're most likely just as nervous as some of us are. People tend to start using insults and acting immature when they run out of logical arguments.
Don't lose too much hope--NaruSaku has a lot going for it--throughout part two and in parts of the war arc--and there's nothing to suggest we're out of the game yet. You'd have to purposefully twist and misinterpret Naruto and Sakura's interactions to deny that they aren't at the very least close friends and that they both care deeply for each other. Don't let people bully you into forgetting that.
