I really don't think we have seen the last of Kaguya. If you think about it, we never really heard much from her because black Zetsu was basically talking for her throughout her appearance. I'm a little suspicious of the Sage as well. I don't think sealing Kaguya is really solving the situation and it's really something temporary for the next generation to deal with. I think there's more to this than people are realizing. Hopefully I'm right, because I really don't want to see a rushed ending.

I have a similar feeling. It's hard to imagine that much time was spent on those two and they were giving no definition or anything. No personality, no nothing.

It's either this or he is desperate as hell to finish ASAP..

I guess that could work if it turns out he's not actually Hagoromo. I would find it ridiculous for him to be evil considering how kind he was shown to be to the bijuus.

I thought her son the Hermit created most of the jutsus, while Kaguya was an insane amount of chakra.

 

In that case, she would be powerful in a heads-up fight, but could be outmaneuvered.

If she can easily change dimensions and teleport then I honestly don't see why she can't come up with other techniques. She's a god that can pretty much do anything, yet she was so limited in this fight. I doubt she was holding back, but that's what it feels like to me since she had such a limited arsenal.

In retrospect, I think it's funny that the Sage's tools and Hashirama's transferred jutsu were being played up as the final weapons that would turn the tide of the fight when they've never been brought up again. What was the point of introducing them if they weren't going to play a role? Granted, Madara's divisive beliefs could still rear their ugly head, but he's not going to get very far with all the highly powerful shinobi grouped around him. It seems like he's reverted back to his original, non Rikudou state. He's even lost the face implant with Hashirama's senjutsu.

You're right there is something that seems off... but after what we saw of Hagoromo, if he's evil and he was hiding it, he's a very good actor.

nope, is that when they believed to have killed Frieza wit the genkidama. When everyone were happy, TA-DHA, it turns out that Frieza was still alive, he injures Piccolo and then kills Krilin which made Goku to transform in supersaiyan.

I liked this chapter, and the sweet look Sakura gave to Naruto hit me right in my feels
I don't think we've seen the last of Kaguya though. Maybe Rikudou Sennin will try and absorb Kaguya and Black Zetsu , and end up trying to put the world in his image, since his mother failed the first time.

I really hate to think that the movie has something to do with how the manga is currently progressing, but I think it is.

 

I won't be surprised if we see the new designs of Naruto/Sakura/Shikamaru/Sai show up in the inevitable timeskip to set up Part 3 and set up the new movie coming this year.
