I really doesnt understand this whole mirroring Rin on Naruto and jiraiya.

Sakura was never a inspiration for Naruto in terms of achieving peace and neither Tsunade to Jiraiya.

The fact is that it was revealed ot him he would train the savior of the world, he aspired to do something really big to the shinobi world, but he failed and in the end all he wanted to have was a glorious death like the kages had, sacrificing himself for the greater good and then he went to fight off Pain.

About Tsunade he explained that after she lose her loved ones she closed her heart, and he viewed himself as a failure for not being able to save Orochimaru which he even advised Naruto to stop chasing Sasuke.

Later Jiraiya make a bet to Tsunade if he comes back alive they would be together.

As for Naruto, Kakashi explained that his inspiration was his friends(Nakama x666), and being honest is more plausible Naruto being Sakura's inspiration rather than her being Naruto's.

On Obito's flashback is always show Rin supporting him and giving him some inspiration talk much similar to what Naruto does with Sakura.

Not a bad chapter, there's finally a break next week so guess this is a good send off for now, Kakashi finally comes back after practically 25 chapters. I'm glad he got to see minato again so now all reunions are done. Sasuke took no hesitation to kill obito only for Kakashi to show and even minato stopped him. This was an impactful chapter. Now just wonder how the allaince will fare against Madara. Madara is the final hazard and even he has something up his sleeve. The tailed beasts are back and shukaku recognized naruto from way back in the gaara fight. Now it's only a matter of time before things go wrong again, maybe 2 to 3 chapters. Madara has a final contingency plan and it's going to cause a mess.

Also even with kakashis we will talk later to Sasuke, there are still going to be things for conflict. When 635s events of sakura not trusting Sasuke come true then I wonder how she will take the aspect of this combined with sasukes intent to kill naruto. Guess I feel that aside from 631, 635 and the other chapter when obito was in berserk mode with Sasuke saying I not you will erase the past. Sasuke isn't going to come back all smiles and suddenly loving sakura, he's going to come back for other reasons to the village but after some stuff, he will intend to finish naruto, try to become hokage, and renew the shinobi system he sees as corrupt. Still feel that with all the past ns stuff, it will lead to something and a head moment between naruto and sakura in this case will be the time it takes off. Hell we just want to see if sakura can mature over Sasuke and if naruto could reveal he gave sakura the compliment that day, only cause it would bring the minakushi stuff full circle and would again just be another inference of the parallels of generation xerox that Kishi loves to use.

Surprisingly this is the first chapter in quite a while that I didn't think was bad. Good job Kishimoto. There's still Madara but this chapter was all about the tragedy of team Minato.

If there's one thing that really irritates me about this chapter it's the mention of Madara though. It seems as though all of the rallying against him is off screen. If we come back and Madara is defeated in 1 or 2 chapters then I'm going to seriously be disappointed. But you know what, if that's what it takes to finish the shinobi war asap then I'll be okay with it.

I'm sorry if I was unclear.  Sakura didn't inspire Naruto to attain world peace, I never meant to imply that, but Sakura did inspire Naruto to fight harder, increase his power (against Gaara for instance).  It's that sort of inspiration that I am talking about, and it is in that way that Rin seems to have inspired Obito --at least going by what happened to Obito after Rin's death-- Obito lost the will/the drive to fight for a better world in a way that would make her smile/make her proud.  Sakura could inspire Naruto to gain immense amounts of power, that's the sort of inspiration I'm talking about, not the inspiration for world peace.

Well I certainly liked team Minato this chapter. I'm so glad Kakashi is back! And he met with Minato! Looks like it is one Uchiha down, two Uchiha to go.

I think there are 2 more chapters in the volume, so I won't expect anything much for the next chapter

loved when Sasuke totally ignored the intense look Naruto gave him. P;

gee...Naruto really is a white saint. Maybe it's why I don't like his character anymore, not the way he is now. And people are overload of praising is too much. I want the people to possess and inner light, be their own sun with candles/friends around you. Obito lost his source, bahm Madman. Found another one after finding out Kakashi wasn't enough, Naruto is everybody's sun after all. Now I don't think Obito is the best example, because it seems like he had a tougher life than we thuoght. But everyone's like that, except Naruto who is the "light" himself. All you need is a Naruto.

Getting tired of the unfinished sentences too. XD "Naruto, you really are..". I don't see the point of hiding it, we all know the obvious.

The chapter was alright after all, the phasing was good. I thought Sakura was with Tsunade? I had a personal urge to see her.  :umm: Maybe because she's the only one interesting to me now, unless Madara steps up his game. Kishi might not let him. He made him so OP that if Madara gives it his all, the alliance will be 80% dead and gone.

Cannot take any more TnJ. Ready for some fighting! I hope the battle with Madara delivers!

I've pretty much given up on there being commiserate consequences to the actions of the villains here. But I am glad they showed the populus clamoring for blood/retribution. I think that's an expected response to situation. The fighters are looking for a payoff after their long battle. It was unfortunate that they were hand-waved away with Minato's quick explanation, and then we see them no more, but I get that it can't work in a manga. However, passionate, aggressive crowds are a dangerous thing. Explosive and uncontrollable. So it's perfectly reasonable to think that these soldiers and ninjas would want to see him finished off. But its ooc to think they'd be subdued so quickly.

Wish they'd hold Obito more accountable for his deeds. Not just talk about what's in his heart. I suppose it's a given at this point, still it's just hard to read Minato waxing even the tinest bit nostalgic about his old student without going "Dude! He killed you!"

*sigh" I think I've just od'd on the TnJ. It's not working for me.

As for the theory that Sakura must die, I've thought that for a while. She must either die or be given the appearance of dying. Something that would really rattle Naruto. Because right now he's really riding an indestructible high. And it will take something big to bring him off of it. And it almost seems like the Rin/Obito stuff could be foreshadowing. (But that's been a bust in the past too, so maybe not....)

My theory is that Sasuke will be the one to do it. After all, who better than Sasuke, someone who also knows what's in Naruto's heart. He can really injure her, like Karin, or he can catch Naruto in his sharingan and force him to see it. Anyway, that would really ramp up the tension and put the focus completely on Team 7 and their struggles. What would Naruto do if Sasuke did it? If Sasuke really wanted to sever bonds and make Naruto feel like someone had been taken from him (as it happened for him), then there's nothing greater Sasuke could do to him.

With Jiraiya and Tsunade I was thinking more along the lines that Jiraiya probably saw himself as a (somewhat failed) protector (not that she necessarily inspired him).  The same goes for Yahiko and Konan, I don't remember any indication that Konan specifically inspired him, but Yahiko was incredibly protective of her.  Really, the girl's role is to be the girl, but there are those two common-ish threads "inspiration" and/or "person to protect."

Chatte already answered about the theory, yay!

I don't really see their relationship that way (JiraTsu). I always took it as Jiraiya simply not having the guts to own up his feelings to Tsunade. I don't really see the whole "Jiraiya protecting her" thing. Your explanation would make more sense if that filler episode was canon, though. As for Yahiko and Konan, yeah it kinda fits since they were pretty much of the few couples to make it official. But prior to their relationship becoming official, I don't think Konan was an inspirator of Yahiko's dreams. Their relationship becoming official simply strengthened the already strong foundation of his dreams.

I gotta agree with you, tricksie. Sasuke is really the only one plausible enough to pull off that kind of move. But really, what would his motive be? I think he would need a better reason than simply trying to sever his bonds with Naruto.

I think the time for that has come and gone. One could say that such a thing would complete the parallel between Obito and Naruto but as Kakashi has already said Naruto won't fail as much since he has the support of 99.9% of the shinobi population. Naruto also is much wiser than Obito was at the time. Naruto has seen into Obito's heart and felt the same emotions that caused him to turn to the darkness. Naruto's resolve has been put to the test over and over again, each time becoming stronger.

What I think we really need is to take a step back from all of these puppets and focus on who's really pulling the strings. Now is the time for the final stretch. Kishi needs to take every bit of foreshadowing into account for one final arc that will decide the fate of the world.

Now before you ask, I know that sounds just like the shinobi war, but now that Kishi has resolved all the loose ends with the shinobi war he can focus on a handful of characters. Just imagine what Kishi could do if he doesn't have to worry about resolving every character he's ever introduced. We can finally have a true battle of wills now.

Decent chapter. Glad that Kakashi is back. I knew as soon as he aimed his kunai at Obito that Minato would be the one to stop him. Also, nice on his nonchalant reactions to his student, who tried to kill him the last time they saw each other, and his teacher, who is supposed to be dead (and not to mention he has the same form as Naruto). lol.

Yup, knew that Kakashj would finish up the TnJ... Sasuke doing his thang... Yes, Obito said Rin was his only light. When he lost her, he felt like he lost everything. As expected.

If Madara is defeated easily I'll be pissed. He needs to go all out, but like someone else said, if he did, 80% of the Alliance would be obliterated. Oh, and don't only physical attacks work on Madara? Sup with the Rasenshuriken?

No Sakura this chapter, but that's expected. We better get some more of her soon. Oh wait... No chapter next week. :(

And Minato and Naruto on the next volume cover, hell yeah! I can't wait. I want Minato to be in his normal form, but he'll probably be in the Kyuubi chakra form.

 Question TIME :

Why Sasuke is so edgy?
Why the people want to kill Obito but doesnt want to kill Sasuke?
Where's Yamato on this whole story, should not he be bought back along with the tree?
Why Obito doesnt use his rinnegan powers?
Why the sun is yellow and the sky is blue?

That made me literally laugh out loud.

Madara should the one who pull that move, not sasuke because he will get redemption at the end of this manga. Unless he slay konoha 11 and alliance for offering to one eye god to make him savior of the world with lipstick and rape sakura in front of naruto just to spit him.

Something tells me that the next chapter will be a "bomb" and will left us afflicted.

Just like it was when Naruto and Hinata held hands after Neji's death. We got a long break, and while this, the fans went crazy.

Kishimoto does love doing that kind of stuff. I bet he only have prolonged the story to this point so far so he could just publish a chapter that would left the fans starving for more. And well, that did enrich the content of the story with Obito. But anyways, i sense something big happening next week.

Brace yourselves.

A pay-off? You mean a body? The pay-off was that they won the war and stopped judgement day more or less. Just because they don't kill him does not mean they won't hold him accountable for his actions. There are other ways of punishment besides just the death penalty, but again, isn't this the point of Naruto? If you kill just because you are angry and feel you deserve retribution...then you are no better than them.

Justice and vengeance are two different things. Revenge is not a valid motive; it's an emotional response and I think this is a problem many have comprehending. The way you are describing it sounds like you are saying the soldiers deserve to string him up because of the all pain he caused them and all the lives he took away from them, but that's really revenge and just calling it "punishment."

If you think Obito deserves nothing, but death, then what does Sasuke deserve for his crimes? Banishment? Little leniant to just let Sasuke go to become a wandering samurai or something. As well, we have yet to see if Sasuke continues to do evil or not.

My theory is that Sasuke will be the one to do it. After all, who better than Sasuke, someone who also knows what's in Naruto's heart. He can really injure her, like Karin, or he can catch Naruto in his sharingan and force him to see it. We can't have Sasuke becoming a real villain now, can we? Otherwise, he would have to be punished too.

I liked this week's chapter, It had something I was expecting for a while in this volume. The reunion between Team Minato (minus Rin of course), quite honestly it seems to me that Obito is now switching sides after what happened.

I thought about that too, but kishi explained that Obito and Naruto arent equals, Kishi explained that his downfall was the fact that Rin was the only light that he had, it was shown that everytime he was sad or thinking about giving up, she was there for him.

When she die he didnt lose his love interest but more importantly the only person who was there for him, on his flashbacks we dont see any other person other than him who was at his side giving him advice or cheering him up.

We dont see it in Naruto, everyone is there for him not just Sakura, then i figured out that by killing Sakura would not make Obito's redeemption more believable.

But at later and how the things went, i can only see this on Sakura, on the manga so far Naruto was the only light she has, because everytime she's sad or thinking about giving up like the hospital and a lots of moments on the manga when she need some cheering up, Naruto was there for her.

So in fact if Sakura had an active role on the TnJ would be by killing Naruto but she's not the main character and not the one who's responsible for the TnJ.

I wonder, it seems that Naruto got the talk-no-jutsu trait from her mother and we know that Minato had the weird habit of coming up with overly long complicated names for jutsus and yet he decided to name the sphere jutsu he created as simply rasengan.

Do you guys think maybe Kushina used TNJ on Minato to convince him to not give the rasengan a ridiculous complicated name? That'd be hilarious.

That would be hilarious. I'm still calling it on her being the one calling the name Rasengan or at least shorten it. It does seem to hint that. If Kushina was the one giving lectures, you can see why she won all the arguments except the last.

So, chapter next week or not? I'm a little lost. I just came back from game sites, which btw, doesn't look pretty. It must be a curse for Killzone series ever since they claimed themselves Halo Killer. Ha, my ass. Anyway, next week chapter?
