This may sound as a head canon , but we saw how Rin wanted to support Obito's dream, cared for his well being etc.,she does resemble those traits that Sakura bears. The parallel is getting fit in a way ,the question is :Has Rin had a change of heart after she learn that Obito loved her ? That's a far fetched theory , but if it does happen , i think its safe to assume that she would've come around and loving Obito eventually , just how Sakura will do with Naruto :3.
I kind of hope that Rin didn't fall for Obito because of that, and that she didn't fall for Obito because of survivor's guilt. I would be sad for Rin if that were the case, and I feel like I have enough reasons to be sad for her, sad that she was used, sad that her life was cut short, sad that she was forced to make a horrible, depression decision...ugh. I really don't like thinking about Rin too much.
Wasn't it Obito who controlled Yagura? I think Madara did have some sort of role in Rin's death since it was the reason why Obito chose to side with Madara rather than return to Konoha. What Chatte was saying about her Madara going after Sakura seems like a possibility to try break him just as he did with Obito so it's going t get interesting. Didn't like seeing the last couple panels with Neji's death but it does make sense that it was shown since it was Obito's offer for Naruto to give in to the Tsukiyomi. Also still no Kakashi?! :/ When is he going to break out of that dimension...
Oh crap, you're right, I think...maybe. Oops. So Kiri had Isobu, lost Isobu when Rin died, then somehow recaptured it only to lose it again when Yagura died?

You know I bet Obito might go why Naruto is trying to get him on his side. He might go on say something like "Why are you doing this why? I got your parents killed, I'm the reason the Village hated for the fox, I corrupted your best friend I practically ruined your life. Why are you try to redeem me?"

Mm.. I meant it as rethinking not falling in love , but just assuming what if she thought differently of him or changed her mind after she learned that he loves her. We still don't know what kind of opinion she had held on Obito when they've first met/were introduced unlike Sakura and Naruto. But yes, it would be out of guilt if it happened right away , but what if in the future? What if everything went the way OBito imagines it ?

Yeah I guess, that's really strange haha So when Rin died Isobu would have taken like 3 years to reappear and then Kiri must have sealed him into Yagura.

With this chapter, it's even more obvious that there will be a second sage of the six paths, and I think Naruto is the only one that could fill this role. With everything about the prophecy, it's very likely.
I find Rin's personality really close to Sakura's. She's a caring type. She's a little scary. She got into Obito's dream about becoming Hokage... those memories Kishi shows us about Obito and Rin... it's really similar of Naruto and Sakura memories.
There are medical caring scenes, there are expressions of Rin that are just exactly the same as Sakura's... there is this scene when Rin got angry because Obito was careless.... just like Sakura did with Naruto... Obito is just like Naruto.... they are the same, so he behave with Rin like Naruto behave with Sakura. There is this promise thing.... there is Rin who looks like she was beginning to feel different about Obito... it's looking like she could love him. Just like Sakura, she was touched by Obito's feelings. LOL it's too much Kishi... =D
When reading Obito and Rin's past, I couldn't help myself but see Naruto and Sakura at their places. And it's not because I want NaruSaku to happen. It's just the same, that's all. Naruto himself is telling it ! "You are just like me" so, the situation is also almost the same. I don't really understand why NaruHinatards thinks this chapter goes in NaruHina's way... O_o it's not that AT ALL. It's really getting on my nerves.
There is nothing blatant about pairings in the dialogues. Nothing. What I see is Naruto subtly empathise with Obito when Obito thinks about Rin. Kishi did not made it really obvious (at least, I think it was his intention to make it subtle... because to me it's really obvious lol). Well Naruto's feelings are still not really obvious about what he feels about Obito and Rin, but the parallel is right here to me because of everything else Kishi put into this chapter.
Just think of it one minute. Kishi didn't have a lot of time and panels to show of the past and memories of Obito and Rin right here. He have to make us catch the essence of it quickly for us to understand Obito's feelings. So why did he choose all this scenes and situations that are 90% copies of Naruto and Sakura's situations ? It should have a purpose. That's why even if Kishi tried to made it subtle, to me, it's a blatant parallel between NaruSaku and ObiRin.
I would go even further.
I think this chapter is the "translation" of what we should understand about Sakura's feelings for Naruto. This thing about hinding things... i don't know. Sakura never said that blatantly to Naruto, but i feel it's how she's feeling for a long time without telling about it. Do you guys remember this scene with Chiyo-baa ? Naruto walking away, hiding his feelings from Sakura when she was crying just after she understood that Naruto could die if the Kyuubi would be removed from him ?

And maaaan!! Its soo obvious that kishi also based obito and rin off of naruto and sakura!!! Its just sooo obvious!! That scene in the grass field remimded me of how sakura snapped in her confession to naruto, but not on the same level as sakura. And the part where she said obito promised her...

And we saw the flashback of neji and naruto....just comes to show that hinata had nothing to do with it, and that naruto felt lonely due to neji, and that is was all and mainly about neji and naruto, not naruto and hinata.

Funny how NH people are claiming now that ObitoRin is like NH when before they told that they had nothing with their fandom couple... let them scream alone for nothing.
Btw if even after this, NS isn't similar to ObitoRin I'm over....

Obito is the false Sage of the Six Paths much like Nagato was the false child of prophecy.

Indeeed, i cannot just stand with them. Meh, nothing surprising for me here...
Before: Rin loves Kakashi! She isn't more than a friend for Obito!!
Now: Oh MY GOD! She hold his hand! And she's watching over him!!! NH-ObiRin parallel CANOOOON1111!!!!!1
That's just ridicolous. Another confirm that they always mislead they own pov about how reading this manga. Meh, never mind.... Leave them alone.
PS: Naruto is giving his hand to Obito, I guess that this's a parallel with NH too Parallels everywhere.

I also find their logic soooo ridiculous. I mean, they say that parallel don't count but they are always trying to take those parallel to their advantage, they did the same with Minakushi. They are serching for small details, then they twist them to fix it in NH parallel.
But seriously, after what they did today, I'm really worried about their mental sanity, sorry to soudn rude, but let's face it. It's impossible to see what they see without doing it intentionally. It's like I said, they try so hard to turn NS/OR parallel into NH/OR parallel, that it becomes ridiculous, and it's even more when you remember that they used to say that we were the ridiculous ones to parallel NS to OR.

Cool chapter. All the talk within it took me more than just mere seconds go through it and I've actually enjoyed those extra minutes of reading.
The parallel for me was not evidenced by this chapter but there's definitely some subtle hints here and there. I liked to see more of Rin's personality and how she was supportive of Obito's goals, rough to him when he needed to be scolded, but at the same time was always there trying there to heal him and seemed to always brighten his mood with a smile. By the way, who is always healing Naruto again?
But taking that aside, it's also good to see how Rin agreed to be at Obito's side before she died, even though she didn't quite understand what Obito meant by that. But it really seemed that had she not passed away, she could eventually start to reciprocate Obito's feelings at some point. Nothing certain but it's a valid guess given the last events.

Besides that line from Naruto "If Rin was alive, I've been told you "Don't act cool and hide youself... I'm watching you!" was too predicable. I was pretty sure that Naruto told a kinda stuff... Happy that Kishimoto thought in the same way as mine
