Seems some here really don't like the picture. I guess if there was more context to the situation it would be funnier.

 

Say that Naruto started bragging about being able to hit the watermelon in one swing, but after failing several times he moves around like a mad man hitting the ground trying to find it. Sakura tells him to cut it out but Naruto insists on finding the watermelon, then she notices he's about to hit Sasuke and has enough of Naruto's stubbornness. The rest goes like as the picture is.

Actually, that's the image I got.

 

That game is a multi-man game, so pretty much Naruto got spiral and then the game starts as Naruto tries to hit the watermelon. Then he feels that the "watermelon" is in front so he is about to hit it hard, but of course, that would be bad, so she has to step in before it gets bad. Naruto got knocked out, making a comparison image that the watermelon is safe as the player is not. Don't know where the hate comes in. I can understand the image of him, fine, but anything else, it's overthinking.

the picture didnt suggest that Naruto was going hit Sasuke purposely.

Doesnt matter what is the settling, the violence, blood and the power that Sakura used was over-exagerated.

 

I know it's for comic relief and enjoy scenes like that but like everything in life there's a limit and he crossed the line way too much on this picture.

This picture is just out of the common comedy sense in naruto. Normally naruto does something dumb to get hit for it, but this page shows nothing more then naruto beeing unaware of what hes doing and therefore getting his head smashed to mud by sakura.

It's just comedy. Until I somehow hear a sad/depressing song, it's comedy. Whether the image is a bit much, it's still comedy. Oh well. I won't blame you guys, just have to deal with the imagery. Otherwise, maybe you don't want tsundere Sakura. And you can't tell me you haven't seen worse. But again, to each of their own.

C'mon guys! There's no need for rationalizing a single scene that is not even canon nor has has a minimum chance of actually happening. It's comedy and that's all.

Let's move on, tomorrow we will have some real canonic stuff happening.

I'm saying this on all my replies "it's comedy" but Naruto and Sakura has a pattern different than other mangas and etc...

I've seen a tsundere punching a guy and he went thought a whole planet and ended up on another galaxy.

i'm saying is that the being tsundere or not, it was over-exagerated, it ws like Sakura almost killing Naruto and he did nothing.
It's completely different than what they do on the manga, now imagine if Sakura did this to Naruto on 631, if she smashed Naruto to a point that she almost break Naruto's head in half, we would have a completely different opinion on 631 i guess.

 

I enjoy Sakura being Tsundere and all and that scene for me has the same value when on RTN she told Naruto that Sasuke understood her.

Lol. Guys, Kishi is just showing the tsundere Sakura. Nothing new. All tsunderes do that, and some even worse. It's just comic relief. Even if it's not your way in here... It's for comic relief.

I think the reason why I don't like the violence in this omake is because it reminds me of what Karui did to Naruto. He looks just like how he did when she beat him up:

 

 

I know it's not something that is supposed to be taken seriously, but Sakura has never hurt Naruto that badly in the canon. It makes her look so much worse than she actually is, just like in the anime fillers, and that's why I don't like it. The blood was too much.
