Somebody seriously better make a MegaCharizard version of that gif!!! I want it as my new sig!!!

P.S.: Looks like there's going to be lots of Warp-digivolving jokes now. LOL. So here's a question to everyone, which Pokemons do you want to WarpMegaDigievolve?

Lol, sure it will.

I would like to see Floatzel ( I wish Buizel can do T.T) can go Mega Evolve. Eeveelutions I would want to see that. Since Blaziken already on my wish list, so why not two Hoenn Starters can go Mega Evolve.

Oh yeah, it got me thinking. Mewtwo already Mega Evolve, does that means several legendary Pokemon can go Mega Evolve? For the forms, I am confuse about why Mewtwo have Mega Evolve not form like Shaymin and Giratina does. Why is that?

For me probably the only thing I have a problem with is that Mega Charizard is still a Fire/Flying Type and not a Fire/Dragon Type, but I can see why they didn't do that since it would make him to OP, especially since this generation is meant to balance Dragon Types.

Now you mention, I did wonder about that. Fire/Dragon might be nice idea to do that. I am not sure what is the difference...

Will if Mega Charizard were Fire/Dragon then hes weakness be, Rock, Ground and Dragon and would no longer have double weakness, plus since Charizard can learn Solar Beam if he wasn't weak to Water there would be no way to preserve a balance between the three Kanto Starters, and of course there is the fact the Chamander Family is based off a legend of a Salamander that grew wings and not a dragon.

Also Fire/Dragon combination has been done, Reshiram is a Dragon/Fire Type.

While we haven't heard about the stat boosts the Kanto starters will get from Mega Evolution, here's a rundown of the changes:

Mega Venusaur's ability is 'Thick Fat' (Fire and Ice damage is halved). I like this; Chlorophyll Venusar was OU, but now this reduces Venusaur's weaknesses to Flying and Psychic.

Mega Charizard's ability is 'Drought' (summons permanent sun unless another weather move/ability is used after). Neutral Water damage, dual STAB Fire Blast AND instant Solarbeam? F*&% YEAH!!

Mega Blastoise's ability is 'Mega Launcher' (boosts the power of 'Pulse' moves like Water Pulse, Dark Pulse... Dragon Pulse?). This ability is new, and doesn't sound AS promising as the other two, but who knows.

Meanwhile, I'll help myself to this pic for my sig, but only for about a week though; I know you'll want to use it, Codus.

Actually, what I want is the gif mangareader posted. The MegaCharizrd version of course. I'm still debating on whether I'll use it as a sig or as my new avatar.

P.S.: what does OU stand for? sorry, I'm dumb :P

Sorry for the double post but Coro Coro has leaked introducing 7 new Pokemon and two new Mega Evolutions.

First up the evolutions for the Starters have been leaked I'm not sure about their names, the only one I know their name is Fennekin's evolution Teerunaa, and it's a pure Fire type, and it learns Psycho Cut meaning that it is possible that it's final Evolution my be a Fire/Psychic type, the other two are named Gerogashira and Hariboogu (not sure which one is which) are also pure types.

Starter Evolutions

The other four Pokemon reveled include Chigorasu which is based off of a T-Rex and is a Rock/Dragon Type, there is also Amarasu another Fossil Pokemon based off of a Diplodocus (never heard of it) and it is a Rock/Ice Type, also there is a dog like Pokemon named Torimain, it is a Normal type and it is customizable, and we also have a Psychic-Type Cat Pokemon called Nyaonikusu which has major differences between the Male and Females.

new Pokemon

Next we have two new Mega Evolutions, Mega Garchomp and Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Mewtwo X is a Psychic/Fighting Type and is exclusive to Pokemon X while the old Mega Mewtwo is Mega Mewtwo Y which is exclusive to Pokemon Y, and their Mega Stones were reveled as Mewtwonite X and Mewtwonite Y respectively.

Mega Garchomp
Mega Mewtwo X

Also it was reveled that Fairy Type attacks are Super Effective against Fighting, Dark and Dragon Types, and are not very effective against Fire, Poison and Steel types.

Also Steel may be losing it's resistance against Dark and Ghost Types but this is unconfirmed.

Interesting... Fennekin's final evolution is going to be Fire/Psychic Type Fox Pokemon. Cool :P

I am getting X version so meaning that I will get Mewtwo in Psychic/Fighting Types in Mega Evolution. I didn't know I am going to get this.
About Fairy Types, I am happy to have find a way to beat Dragon type. I don't have to get Dragon or Ice Pokemon to capture it. Oyi oyi
I am not sure what do you mean about Steel types may be losing...

Edit: Sorry about that, I am using moible phone. Now I fixed it in computer.

It seems like it, between Fennekin and Teerunaa they have three Psychic type moves in the lean set.

I am getting X version so meaning that I will get Mewtwo in Psychic/Fighting Types in Mega Evolution. I didn't know I am going to get this.
About Fairy Types,

I'm planning on getting Y version, (Yveltal just looks so freaking cool) so I'm a little bummed about not being able to get Mega Mewtwo X but I guess since they are giving Mewtwo two Mega Evolutions, it must mean that he is catchable in-game (unless they are going to give them away as an event but I don't see how they could keep them version exclusive that way).

I am happy to have find a way to beat Dragon type. I don't have to get Dragon or Ice Pokemon to capture it.

Well the Fairy-Type was introduced to help balance out Dragon Types.

Also Fairy types weak to Steel and Poison Type attacks, strong against Fighting, Bug and Dark Type Attacks and are completely immune to Dragon-Type Attacks.

Oyi oyi
I am not sure what do you mean about Steel types may be losing...

Steel type Pokemon will no longer be resistant to Dark and Ghost type attacks (this has been confirmed).

Awasome! Now I don't have to worry about Dragon type moves to attack Pokemon Fairy types. Dragon types can be powerful and it drive me nuts.

So, Steel types pokemon are no longer immune to Dark and Ghost...Bummer. >__>

Steel types were not immune to Dark and Ghost they only took half damage.

Also one of the new Fossil Pokemon the long-neck one, has a new ability that changes all it's normal-type attacks into Ice-type attacks and makes them stronger to boot, if it's evolution (assuming it does evolve) maintains this ability, it will be able to use Hyper Beam or Giga Impact as an Ice-Type move, which will give it STAB as well as being super effective against Dragon Types, and a Critical Hit on top of that.

Steel type Pokemon will no longer be resistant to Dark and Ghost type attacks (this has been confirmed).

I'd heard this rumor a while ago, but I'm glad it's confirmed. The time for Dragon-slaying is almost upon us. Still no love for the Bugs, though...

Still, to go back to your Mega Charizard Fire/Dragon debate, this latest development would've likely put a damper on it if it happened. If Mega Charizard was revealed to be Fire/Dragon, it would now face a type that would render one its STAB's (Dragon) useless, meaning it wouldn't be as overpowered as first thought, and likely wouldn't have benefitted from it as originally expected.

If I'm honest, when the Mega Evolution was first revealed and speculation arose on which 'Mon would get them (especially starters), I did wonder whether Charizard would become Fire/Fairy, and whether that would work.

For the sake of arguement, I'll take this new info into account, and if I'm right the Fire/Fairy typing would be:

Super Effective against: Grass, Ice, Bug, Steel, Dragon, Fighting, Dark

Resists: Fire (1/2), Grass (1/2), Ice (1/2), Bug (1/4), Fighting (1/2), Dark (1/2)

Resisted by: Fire, Water, Rock, Poison, Dragon (countered by Fairy)

Weak against: Water, Rock, Ground, Poison

Immune to: Dragon

That actually sounds like an awesome type combination, and if you combined that with the 'Drought' ability, Solarbeam and a Ground move for coverage, a Fire/Fairy Mega Charizard would've been VERY OP.  :fu:

It didn't make sense for Steel to be able to resist Ghost types anyway, and with Fairy having a weakness to both it and Poison, it seems Gamefreak is trying to encourage more attacking options with these two types, which are primarily defensive.

Fairy type really only balanced Dragon types...Poison is still worthless as Steel types will still plaque the metagame. Heatran got a buff as it duel resists Fairy type moves while countering with STAB Steel type moves of it's own as well as being the perfect Mawile counter. Dark probably deserved another weakness but Fighting sure as heck didn't as Psychic types (if not their moves) are abundant in the metagame as well. I don't mind change, but this chart didn't do much other then say "Players should be wary of overusing Dragon types and Fighting types". Poor Hydriegon...

Chespin, what have they done to you!? So much wasted potential... Why?  :arg:

I'm also not digging Fennekin's first evolution design... I'm so tired of humanoid fire starters. It's a fox. Why can't it stay on all fours?

At least they did Froakie justice. Thank goodness for that.

Chespin's evo looks like the second evo of the fire type in the fifth gen. Froakie's evo looks awesome, Fennekin ok

The litleo evolution is fake, saw it on a YouTube video made a few months ago, it wasn't leaked in Coro Coro and has not been touched upon by Nintendo.

And Pangoro has been out for about the same amount of time, and I'm very interested to see how Pancham evolves into Pangoro because one of the Developers stated that it evolves through a new method of evolution.

Chespin, what have they done to you!? So much wasted potential... Why?  :arg:

For Chespins Evolution, since they are giving it Mud-Shot it looks like they will be giving it Ground as a second type, so that would explain the appearance, since it's evolutionary typing would be the same as Turtiwg-Grotle-Torterra, but I do agree that Chespin got the short end of the stick.

Fennekin's Evolution, while it is bipedal which has some people worried that it will evolve into another Fire/Fighting-Type, but based on it's build I am pretty confident that it will not, it just doesn't look like a Fighting type in the making, plus the reason I think that it is bipedal is because they want to kinda distant it from Vulpix and Ninetales, but I do like it and with evidence pointing towards it being a Fire/Psychic Type, it does make me feel better about getting Fennekin and Charmander, as well as the Event Torchic.

Yes I do believe that Fraokie got best Evolution in terms of design but about the only indication of a second type is that it learns Bounce, which this could just be a reference to it being a frog, and since Blastoise, Feraligatr and Samurott were all pure Water-Types Froakie's final evolution could be the same, after all Gen IV was the only time where all three starters had two types in their final evolution.

EDIT: my 700th post :D.

Well, at least we know for certain what Litleo's evolved form is. Thanks, Jake.

I've just noticed something; if you look closely at the orange areas of Pyroar's mane, you can see they resemble the kanji for 'Fire' (火), which I think is a cool feature.

This has me wondering, is their a female version of Pyroar, or is the Litleo family a male-only species? Though, even if there was a lioness form, I'd guess most people would go for the male (unless the female had something unique that the male didn't).

Maybe the Fire Kanji in the mane means that he'll learn Fire Blast by Level Up.

Pyroar might be similar to the new Psychic-Type Cat Nyaonikusu, where the Female is more attack oriented and the Male is more supportive oriented, although it would most likely be reversed for Pyroar if they want to be accurate to real life lions.

Hopefully Nintendo and/or Game Freak will release the English names for all the new Pokemon some time today, after all that seems to be the pattern, Coro Coro leaks and Nintendo Confirms it the next day.
