Oh so a thirteen year old kid with all the maturity and intelligence Naruto had at the same age know as much about the Sharingan as a decrepit old geezer in his mid hundreds.
So far Kakashi and especially Nagato are my evidence. Don't you think that Nagato could have used one of those immensely powerful EMS moves that Madara used to beat up the 5 kages easily. Susanoo itself would have been perfect for him. Nagato was a genius, mastering his eyes at such a young age. If he could have he would used the sharingan. And of course their in ability to turn on off their eyes. Kakashi, Nagato and Danzo all have this in common.
Kakashi couldn't upgrade to Rinnegan because he only has one Sharingan and as Madara said you need both Sharingans to unlock the Rinnegan and I am arguing that Nagato did not have Madara's eyes as to why he did not use the EMS and as for Danzo we have no idea how many of his eyes were from the same person, also all of them were tampered with by Orochimaru to better use Izanagi and we don't know if that had any effect on them and their other abilities.
Also I've always assumed that Kakashi and Danzo couldn't turn of their Sharingans because they were not Uchiha.

Upgrade, nice upgrade when you have to change between sharing and rinnegan to use techniques it's kinda ridiculous, madara uses a tecqnique from rinnegan then he activates back to sharingan to use susanoo'o it's kinda stupid this evolution, rinnegan lose my respect when kishi said it was some kind of evolution of the sharingan when i thought the rinnegan was special now you can find it in every corner, we have two guys with rinnegan in the same battle.
no one has something exclusive of your own in this whole manga?
we find that chidori is just a copycat of the previous raikage jutsu, rasengan is a /CC/ of the bijuu dama, it's kinda depressive i'm waiting to see that shodaime fighting with clones the same fighting style of naruto, i will laugh a lot.

Is it just me, or does the face of that body on the right look kind of swirly like Tobi's orange mask?

The hole is on the right side too...almost as if it were made for Obito...

Yeah, and I was thinking the scythe was for whacking off potential bodies from the bigger plant, harvesting tool that it is. So maybe they tie together. Obviously, he's got a body ready for harvesting. All he needs is something living to fill it.
Yeah...super creepy. Just when you thought the Uchihas couldn't get any weirder.

Interesting, I was wondering what the scythe was for
I didn't know that was a day XD

I agree about the purpose of the scythe, although I was initially more caught up in the humor of Obito mistaking Madara for the Grim Reaper. (And the "take care of your... lower region" part, lol. Okay.) Obito is so naïve and earnest -- like Naruto -- it's truly painful. I hate that he's there and what's going to happen to him. Poor woobie.

No joke.

Kishimoto has stated in the ToC comments of Jump that there is a certain mistake in Ch.599
See!!?? this is why people shouldn't be throwing a hissy fit over such an obvious mistake!!

Wow. Good job, Kishi! It's always good to be acknowledged that you make a mistake. We all make mistakes. We are human.
Apology accepted.

Disagree, i very much do think Nagato got Madara's eyes and every chapter seems to be getting closer to that conclusion. Madara knowing Nagato, Tobi acting that he is Madara stating that Nagato's eyes were his to begin with. And Nagato himself alive or as an edo being unable to turn off his eyes. I doubt Oro tampered in that way with the sharingans Danzo had that would explain his inability to turn them off.
Well i assume that Kakashi, Danzo and Nagato can't turn off their ocular powers because they are not Uchihas or in Nagato's case the eyes weren't his to begin with.

I've thought back to Itachi's original comment about Madara (as Tobi), that Madara was just a shell of his former self. And it's ironic that here we have an illustration of a Tobi "shell."
Also, thinking about Kakashi having to fight Obito, Ino-Shika-Sho having to fight Asuma, Jiraiya vs. Nagato, Sandaime vs. Orochimaru, and Minato (unknowingly) vs. Obito — Naruto is going to have to a gut-wrenching battle with one of his most beloved figures to go through the trauma experienced around him and come out a hero on the same scale. Otherwise he is still an untested hero.
Not necessarily a previous-generation battle though, even though the precedent has been set for it. But something heartwrenching. Fighting his way to the his chosen end battle with Sasuke isn't going to cut it. Something that derails everything and makes the original goal obsolete. Like if Sasuke "killed" Sakura in front of Naruto's eyes, and then Naruto had to persevere to save Sasuke, even though he believes his best friend just killed his love, just to spite him. (Of course Sakura would survive in the end.)
But Kishimoto shouldn't spare Naruto of the emotional battles he so readily deals out to the lesser characters. And the looming "Obito vs. Kakashi over Rin" on the horizon only reinforces that thought.

Plus... I can't be the only one who did a double take at Obito asking Madara if he wanted him to take care of his "lower parts".

Fare thee well, Albert, my friend."

I've always thought that these 3 would possibly be revived: Jiraiya, Minato and Kushina.
Minato & Kushina being revived is possible. Think about it. Oro basically horcrux'ed himself with the Cursed Seals, the principle should apply to Minato and Kushina's seals as well. Although a part of oneself is sealed, the person should be able to be revived if the other part is in the afterlife. Reviving them both would be the cruelest thing either Madara or Obito could do.
Except for one problem.
Kishi basically did this already with the movie so that leaves your other scenario.
On the second scenario, I've posted on the debate thread a few days ago that Kishi may very well pull a Watsuki on us. I could see Obito & Madara going with an alternate plan being the casting of Limited Tsukuyomi like in the movie to put everyone under a genjutsu that Sakura is dead by their hands. This will put Naruto in the utmost of despair when in reality, she's very much alive, captured by Obito & Madara (which Obito plans to use her as a sacrifice for ET Rin).
The family that couldn't be.

Just because Obito believed so doesn't make it so, we all believed that Itachi killed off his family in cold blood just to prove his power but look how that turned out.
Well i assume that Kakashi, Danzo and Nagato can't turn off their ocular powers because they are not Uchihas or in Nagato's case the eyes weren't his to begin with.
Just because the eyes didn't belong to you in the first place doesn't mean that they can turn of thier Doujutsu otherwise Sasuke couldn't shut off his Sharingan because they are Itachi's and we also have Ao (I think that's his name) the Kiri-nin who has the Byakugan, although his Byakugan is covered up we can tell because of the veins around his eye that he can turn it off.
