You mean like Half-Life 2? Ep1 and 2? Portal? TF2?
If so, then yes. I've also played a little bit of Counter Strike back in the day, but never got into it cause my computer died at the time.

I have not yet. I plan to, but to be honest I am not sure if my current computer can handle it. I am trying to get a new computer in the next couple of months.
Admittedly, I have been addicted to Borderlands 2 as well.

Are you playing boderlands on PC? If so, then black mesa shouldn't be a problem, that game runs on source, one of the lightest engines known to man. It goes pretty smoothly here for me.
Ah, yeah, borderlands 2, I'm planning to get that one too, but my only option is to buy online, and there is no update for game being on sale so far on my region.

No. The only game that can run on my laptop is minecraft. Tried playing several games and it just lags to hell at the lowest settings.

Maybe, but you also pay for what you get and getting a custom built computer is worth it most of the time.
Thing are also getting cheaper by the day and you can get a custom PC for a $1000 that can run Battlefield 3 at the highest setting without problems.
I am tired of cheap computers too because they keep falling apart on me. I am still VERY mad at my laptops computers. I want to be angry at my uncle as well who told me to buy this lousy laptop for like $600 and it is a POS. Not just by personal standards, but the Hp Dv9000 series has been rated as the worst computers ever made.
