I don't remember him encountering them ever. Even if he did, my disappointment will still be there. Why? They both are potential to show character development for other characters (mainly Sakura and Lee); plus, both of them are just plain awesome (that, of course, is totally my opinion and shouldn't be taken as fact). If Naruto beat them both off-panel or is only implied to have done it or did it in a panel or two, then that's extreme laziness on Kishi's part. If he wasn't going to do anything productive with them, then he shouldn't have brought them back in the first place.

Also, Kimimaro was more powerful than people give him credit for. He was extremely powerful with his illness; now that he's basically immortal and isn't sick, what he could be capable of is staggering. Scary as hell. If Kishi deals/dealt with such an enormous threat off-panel (not to mention someone who had an actual impact on the storyline before), then...yeah. Laziness and a waste of an opportunity.

And since, Shikaku ordered all the battlefields to go to help Naruto, I believe this fight was done for. I wanted to see Chiyo and Sakura's reunion. But then again, I can't see anything significant coming out from Sakura and Chiyo's fight. The only effective attack Sakura can do to Chiyo's puppets are the smashy smashy. If, Sakura needs to surpass Tsunade, we need to see more from Sakura than just the smashy smashy. It's not a good fight in terms of seeing Sakura's development.

Although, Lee vs Kimmimaro is another story. This fight could've been a good opportunity to show how much Lee have grown....

shes being using that regeneration jutsu alot, which is bad, and she just got stabbed.

i say she will have a few words for (naruto...sakura...the leaf village) then she goes with jiraiya and orochimaru....

Deadlines. Deadlines. Even if he wanted to, focus on the Edo Tensei characters He has to finish the plots on a weekly basis, so It's not a matter of being lazy more than it was about meeting due dates on time. I for a fact knew a series that wanted to advance a romantic development but between two characters, but due to the weekly print, the development had to be cut.

I'm not really sure what I was expecting to happen by the end of this chapter. The bit with Itachi and Kabuto almost seemed like a joke. I even laughed when Itachi basically sighed and walked away.


...What was he hoping to accomplish? Rush in, put a stop to everything right then and there? Surely, Itachi, things are not going to be that easy. Now we have Sasuke tagging along like a little puppy, and we're not really sure what his motives are now; maybe he doesn't even know.

I don't have much to say about the whole ordeal with Tsunade fighting Madara. Chances are, she will put up a decent fight, but end up getting her ass handed to her by the great Madara at the end; maybe she might even take him down with her.

Anyway, GG Itachi. Back to the drawing board, "Geez"!

And for those who think the manga might end this year, I don't see that happening.
