I don't consider GT part of the canon anyway.

It seems that massive power is short lived. Even Goku in his most powerful form could only do it for so long. That's the weakness. Even with Tobi like Kakashi pointed out, yeah he had the six-paths, but it took up most of his chakra and concentration to control it which is why he had to rely on them to do all the heavy lifting.
I see what you mean by being overpowered, but he doesn't have infinite power.
As for him outclassing the others. In terms of power, definitely. He is one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful, ninja alive. In terms of knowledge and tactician, Shikamaru beats him there. So it's all of a matter of what he is outclassing them with.
Plus, with him having the most powerful kyuubi out of all of all of them, I was half expecting a major power-boost from him.

I believe that once it's perfected, the transformation will be closer to Kurama's original form (fur and all) with the addition of the markings. As of right now, it's more like a chakra shroud rather than the Bijuu itself. So I think right now, the current form is closer to being a "V2" of RM. Kurama might be a tad bit annoyed when he learns his fur is covered with weird markings when it's perfected. That's another thing he might be pissed at Minato about since it's likely he designed it that way.

Another thing to note is that Bee, who is a perfect Jinchuuriki who's completely mastered Bijuu Mode since many years ago, compared to Naruto who's only recently mastered it is that Bee can do partial transformations. Something he's still yet to learn.
I'm thinking the reason why Naruto's Bijuu mode is more like a chakra shroud for now is because Kurama is still limiting the amount of chakra he's giving Naruto because if Kurama gives him more than necessary, it'll overtax Naruto and endanger him because he hasn't learned how to maintain and control it completely like Bee can. In order to perfect it, he'll need more chakra control training. If I'm correct, Kisame stated that with how Bee is able to do partial transformations, it means Bee's chakra control must be very good. So, in order to perfect it, high proficiency in chakra control is absolutely necessary. That could take years.
If Kishi plans on a small timeskip again (about 1-2 years) we'll probably see a fully mastered Bijuu mode by then.
The family that couldn't be.

Naruto could be my god anyday.

LOL, um, anyway...
I don't think the nine tails will betray Naruto either, and if he does... then Naru could kiss his ass goodbye. I'm still wonderng what Sakuras reaction will be when she sees the nine tails + the massive chakra field Naruto's creating with all of that chakra when the units get there. I don't think she knew of his training with Bee + the whole Kyuubi promise.
