It looks like I'm one of the few here who didn't really enjoy the chapter...at all.

why? (just asking)

though i have to say that naruto saving everyone randomly at the same time...feel a bit over-powered...but thats just me.

That is exactly why I didn't enjoy the chapter. It went right back to the "Narutosaveseveryone" routine that I was desperately hoping to avoid.

I love that he's saving everyone It reminds us how badass he actually is, right? It's kinda better than him relying on one/two/three/four tails for everything.

It reminds us how overpowered he is, actually, and takes away all of the entertainment for me. If there's no tension in any of these fights, then why care? We just know he'll win most of them with extreme ease, so why even bother paying attention if we already know the outcome? I'd rather see fights where the characters have to actually work to win so that we actually get more good fights, but noooooooooooope Naruto is just saving everyone left and right while we sit here without feeling any tension whatsoever.
Keep in mind that most of these are supposed to be LEGENDARY ninja and that most of these battles are being won with extreme ease, considering that they're LEGENDARY ninja.

It won't make up for the lack of tension that we've had to go through for so many chapters already When he runs out, I'll be sitting here saying "About freaking time. Can we have some good fights now plz? Without an overpowered Naruto wrecking them? K thanks."

I was really pumped for the war because I thought we were going to get a lot of good, interesting battles...nope. Most of what we've gotten so far lately is Naruto going around beating everyone...no, wait. LEGENDARY NINJA with little difficulty.

no no XD thats not it.....its just....i wish some other people got to fight....

(i know gaara just fought!!) but maybe each team fighting by themselves at the same time..and going back and forth between them..

im just getting a little tired of naruto doing these crazy things and saving everyones back.

...i just wish all the clones would disappear and we pay attention to just NARUTO the original XD

Nah ur not alone broski, i feel exactly the same way.
Naruto is churning out rasengans like they cost him no chakra at all, and he is literally winning the war on his own right now.
Then again, he has not fought anyone that really matters so far (no i do not count any of the edo tensei's as mattering, gah i hate the technique, it should have stayed buried with Orochimaru.)

I am glad that Naruto met up with Sakura again, but the Hinata thing was to be expected. Lots of really smartly drawn panels in this one when it comes to pairing stuff, yet still NS slightly stands out again.
I'm pretty sure that we NaruSaku fans will get at least 1 more major ''oh kitten'' moment, and when it does come, that will be when that last 0.05% remaining doubt for NS on my part will evaporate for obvious reasons. (am i making any sense here?, i hope i do .)

Oh, and Dan surely came to the conclusion that Naruto is like him and Nawaki fast, after knowing him for like what, 5 seconds?

It's obvious that the Naruto who saved Hinata isn't the real one, so there is nothing to talk about NaruHina moment, because it's not, this Naruto is a Zetsu. Kiba noticed it and Naruto doesn't have this diabolic smile.

Comparaison Naruto saving Sakura and Hinata :





This Zetsu will know the same fate as the one that wanted to kill Sakura. Zetsu knows that Hinat aloves Naruto from Pain arc, he saw the whole fight.
So he will probably try to attack her while he will convince her that he's in love with her, and baaaam... Hinata will punch him like hell and will tell him that his trick doesn't work because Naruto arleady said that he loves someone else (flashback where Naruto will gives his answer to Hinata's confession)

This is very positive for NaruSaku I would say.

Um, Naruto just landed and blindsided Zetsu clones, he didn't take down any of the Zombie Legion of Doom yet. I dunno how he's overpowered when all he's done now is take out a bunch of cannon fodder. What he brought to the battlefield is more important, the ability to discern where the Zetsu impostors are.

And @sojobo, I kinda think you're pulling at strings here, it's just a difference in his smile. For all we know the Naruto that rescued both Sakura and Hinata were clones and the true Naruto's still somewhere. I'm not jumping the shark and going OMFG NaruSaku meeting when there's so many clones running around.

He's overpowered because of who he's already beaten. My main point is: he's back to saving everyone in this chapter. Whoopee!

I have to agree with this but im not sure Sojobo has a point...

both scenes are a non romantic based panel But it was so cute when Naruto x Sakura met. now shes out there with him

I loooovvvveeeedddd this chap.! it had some narusaku, but it also had naruhina. i bet they will be ranting on sooo much about how much he loves her. just because he saved her. that wont be fun.

I know right! I thought the whole "Naruto owning everyone with resangan" was over. Looks like I was wrong. Sakura didn't need to be saved. Look at her badass smirk when the two nins (white zetsus) tried to kill her again she knew what was going on and let them in on purpose so she could give them the ass wooping of a lifetime. The fact that sakura was targeted even before shizune and other higher and more experienced medic ninjas shows how much of a threat she is to the opposing side. In this chapter Hinata was basically the "Damsel in distress". She needed to be saved. In my opinion, after re-reading that chapter, some fans are claiming that naruto went to go save hinata. Didn't naruto use his shadow clones and scatter them and help those in need? I found this chapter more Nejihina than Naruhina. Just look at neji's face when hinata is punched badly.

So? He's not fighting alone. He wasn't alone when he took down the Raikage. If he was alone, he'd probably have taken longer to beat him.


And here's the thing, I doubt the Rasengan takes a lot of chakra to do. The challenge in learning the Rasengan is the incredible focus it takes to maintain the shape. Once you get it down, it becomes second nature.

These are incredibly tired troops, what he's doing right now is essentially giving them some breathing room + pinpointing and eliminiating where fragile Zetsu clones are. His only significant battle so far is the Raikage.

@Naruhina. That's not Sakura smirking, that's the Zetsu clone carrying the other "wounded" ninja. There's a difference in how their hair ends. Sakura's ends in 2 prongs while the smirking face ends in 1 long spike at each side of the face.
