I'm a long time lurker, this is my first post:) This chapter pushed me out to speak my voice. So, please excuse myself for lurking around without posting.

This chapter really brokes my heart. I really really want to write Kishi / Shounen Jump a fans letter concerning Sakura and Naruto. If they werent meant to be, then they shouldnt give us so many developments... It's just heart breaking and disappointing. What's with Sakura's character development? This chapter really makes her look very shallow and very closed-minded. Are they trying to convey a message that this is a role model, a heroine, for everyone to follow? It breaks my heart to say that this chapter makes her confession sounds like a big lie... sorry...

I lived in Japan once and I had been following Naruto manga since the start of the volume was released. I could see that Naruto and Sakura is a plausible pairing based on the culture in Japan, which emphasizes loyalty, hard work, guts to never give up, sacrifice, etc. We see this qualities in Naruto and Sakura. So, I highly believe that this pairing shall prevail. I do really hope so.

If anyone has information how to write to Kishi / Shounen Jump, please share. I would encourage each one of us to speak our voice to them. Thanks in advance.

Frankly, I'm on the same boat as everyone else about this. I'm getting tired of Kishi's trolling. If Kishi is really a great author, at least be consistent about his characters dammit!!!. But this takes the cake. I'm dropping this one for a few months....

If what we're seeing is true, then I just lost a huge amount of respect for Kishi's writing style. I don't pick a pairing based on who looks best together, I pick it based on logic. NaruSaku made more sense from the very beginning, so it seems insane to not go in that direction. Whatever, I'll style follow the plot until it ends, I just won't call myself a Naruto fan anymore.

It's not the finest chapter in NaruSaku-dom, but nothing has really changed. We figured out from the confession chapter that Sakura wasn't over Sasuke. She's not lying to herself about that now, but since the 2nd Rescue Sasuke arc, it's been a pretty faint hope that NaruSaku would get resolved for us before Sasuke gets returned so it's to be expected that she still has a place for him in her heart.

Sounds like we do have the whole RAW so at least we're not just speculating on spoilers, but it's still just one chapter.

Not sure about the date with Hinata,. It could be hinting at a conversation to resolve her confession or it could be more serious. If I was a NaruHina fan, I'd be ecstatic at the possible development, but from this side of the coin, I'm not worried. Kishi could've decided to just emphatically say that nothing would ever happen and slam the door on that pairing, but that's not the way that he rolls.

It'll be nice to see the whole chapter (and also get more details of Sakura crushing Neji!Zetsu), but nothing is settled in this chapter or the next, etc. There will be several more scenes before pairings get resolved.

Like I always said, the fandons SasuSaku e NaruHina are very very much larger than our own. we lose. If Sakura still loves Sasuke and lied to Naruto no turning back at this moment in history. We lost.

Hmm... hopefully the full translation will make it clearer what is going on.
I'm still hoping there was more going on in Sakura's head, than what appears to be there.
