The girl I liked was named let's say Sakura (because I don't like actually saying her name.) I asked her friend Marissa for help. She told me what to do, which ended up in me being slapped. True story, so I advise against it.
lol, your sample size is kind of too small to justify any statistical significance. Girls do give worthwhile advice on girls... but as with any piece of advice, always take it with a grain of salt.
Anyways, orange, you're probably just thinking too much. Overanalysis-paralysis, or something like that. Just play it cool. When Sakura and Sasuke had their moment in the hospital after Tsunade healed him from the Itachi incident, Naruto pretty much got the hint that she wouldn't return his feelings for her and thus played it real cool, he backed off and gave her space. Then, later, in order to minimize awkwardness, Naruto would even tease Sakura in a good-natured manner about her crush on Sasuke as a subtle way of telling her that he's cool with the fact that she loves Sasuke and not him even when he's hurt about it. Now that was real cool. Playing it cool is a good way to avoid awkwardness, if anything it'll put the ball in her court. It might be tempting to guilt-trip a girl who rejected you into giving you another chance (something Naruto had a million chances to do with Sakura but never did), but it's better to take the high-road and just play it cool
