Cherish the flashback, for it may be the only one we get....

You know what the funny thing is? Some complained that we didn't get to hear enough about Minato and Kushina. Some even said they we didn't get enough about Naruto's history and where he came from.

Now we have all these and some of these same people are complaining that we have too much of it.

I like these. It's a great change of pace.

Hooray for Naruto's origin story!



Though I am getting excited to see Naruto fully utilize the demon cloak like Killer Bee can. I wonder if he's going to teach him the mechanics behind transforming into Version 1, Version 2, and full tailed beast transformation or Version 3 if Kishi decides to call it that. I want to know how that works and stuff. I have a feeling that Kisame may be more powerful then anyone thinks and go up against Naruto, Bee, Guy, and Yamato at the same time. Remember that it was a Zetsu clone in Kisame's place and I think it wasn't as powerful as the original shark man mist swordsman of the Akatsuki. I also have a feeling that Bee will be captured by Kisame and Madara would come out at the last minute and get Kisame out of there. I also think that Zetsu will capture Gaara and put a clone in his place to spy on the five great nations and the land of iron to get intel on there strategies.

The story moving along is fine, and the fighting was interesting, but it was really quick and was a minor disappointment. This chapter was more on the boring side, other than the two points I just mentioned, for coming out later than normal. Hears to hoping next weeks will be a lot more actiony

I kinda wish this would come out monthly, like FMA. At least it'd be longer chapters.... I don't think too Kishi's reached the point of 'too much history' yet. It's the story of the main character's parents and played a role in how Naruto grew up (the Kyuubi attack and following sealing into Naruto). It's basically a gaiden story, isn't it?

I would think that if it was an actual gaiden story, it would of been in the chapter titles or have no black pages indicating flash backs.

No, Kisame was the one fighting, up until he used that huge water tsunami and transformed. Zetsu says that it was hard switching places with Kisame while underwater here. It was somewhere between his transformation and the end of the fight that Zetsu replaced him.

That being said, in the flashback to when they were talking with Madara, Kisame makes several allusions to being much stronger than he showed.

Wouldn't "Weekly Shonen Jump" go out of business if it was like that. If it was in monthly issues instead, it would have to be priced way more.

I wonder if...I wonder if this supports the "Obito = Tobi/Madara" theory. I can't explain why or have any proof, but that theory might play well with this. Minato seemed to know Madara pretty well when he took off his hood. The way the dialouge is to be believed.

I will wait on this one. The whole "Madara is somehow using Obito's body" theory might still hold water.

Has Minato ever met Madara? I am sure he would have read about him in books or from school, but the way Minato reacted seemed...a little off to just be "Madara is back from the grave."

BTW, I so want Naruto to learn that jutsu his father does. If he had that, even Sasuke wouldn't be able to beat hm.

That's what I was thinking at first but then I realized that back then did you see how old Kakashi looked? He was still pretty young and not too tall. So if Madara were in Obito's body then he'd be much taller don't you think? Madara looked to old even behind that mask to be obito.

well I don't want to see Sasuke Kishi can keep him in the dark as long as he likes, sadly he has no choice but show him eventually. But I am looking forward to see his EMS.

Kishi already gave Kakashi his arc if you remember Kakashi Gaiden but nothing for Sakura he has to do something, he did said to make her more heroic.

Kishi has already done enough for Kakashi I mean making him meet his father the legendary white fang, being revived from the dead then becoming a candidate to become the sixth Hokage. Although I am certain that Kishi made Tsunade wake up in the last minute the fire lord was about to named him the sixth just to tease us.

Now if Kishi made Kakashi say what happened to Rin we already know what happened to Kushina. Maybe she will show up in the flashback arc of the Kyuubi attack Kakashi was seen with Gai in this chapter but no sign from her.

On topic: Now that I think about it Naruto needs to learn Hirashin to beat Madara 'cause I have a feeling that Madara would be able to control him.

I think that maybe Rin died sometime after Obito died because we never saw Kakashi have flashbacks of Rin being older then she was shown. You'd think Kishi would show us a flashback of Rin about the same hight as Kakashi was in the flashback of the nine tails attack.

Perhaps, but how else can it be explained how he has lived so long? Speaking of which how long has it been between Obito's death and the 9-tail attack? Can't be no more than 5 years, can it?

I don't know, I am going to keep my mind open on this one.

The WSJ i read at Wal-Mart have only one chapter of Naruto. If your referring to monthly Naruto volumes, then that's totally different from WSJ magazine that contains other manga.
