Uzumaki and Senju are not related by blood Mito Uzumaki was the wife of the First so I don't think Naruto is blood related to Tsunade.

They're distant blood relatives. Mangastream page 4.
I also wonder if there are any other Uzumakis since Kishi said the clan spread out after the destruction of the village

Loved the chapter, but I guess that comes with being a mom I'm a sucker for parent/child fluff.

I've also pondered something for a while about the Narutoverse and the whisker marks seem to hint at my answer. I've always wondered if the kids of jinchuuriki would be blessed with some of their parents powers. I know some others have asked that question as it has ended up in Fanfics. Hmmmm......

Mikoto? Who knows if she was a part of any plot or not, but I wouldn't put it past Sasuke's dad to play the part of Madara. I don't trust Madara at all, but he said it wasn't him...either way, it was a sneaky Uchiha, that's all that's important for today. Now I want to read more. Next chapter please.

You know that I am really thinking about it, I am not sure if the guy in the mask is madara. I may be over thinking it, but it seems almost too straight forward in such a revealing chapter. I dunno, just kinda doesnt seem kishi's style, I am sorta expecting a WTF to just pop out somewhere next chapter thats for sure. Here is the random theory for the week, Mikoto is Madara lol jkjk

I don't think Mikoto was the one who betrayed Kushina with the location, I think the scene was put in to add more depth to the relationship between Sasuke and Naruto, them being friends was something that if Madara did not release the Kyuubi, Remember Kushina said herself that only three people knew she was the Jinchuruki, not even the three Sennin knew about it.

If anything this might add weight to the Obito is Madara theory, it's possible Obito might have overheard about Kushina being the Jinchuriki and when Madara posses his body he learnt about the information. Just a theory but considering how many crazy arse theories have come true recently it's possible,.

I know its madara, I am just keeping an open mind. I mean it makes sense but I could also see kishi throwing a curveball at us or something. but I do expect it to be madara I was just making speculations is all

Yeah it's Madara, probably in the body of Obito, but that is still Madara no other Uchiha passes thru solid rock. It sounds like he'll lose his mask probably won't. Since this lasts a few chapters I hope it answers more questions.

I don't think this has been mentioned, but anyone notice how even though Kushina is the nine-tails container, she has no whisker marks at all, versus Naruto who isn't the container of it yet and he does have them?

I just find it kind of funny, perhaps this is something Kishi forgot about? Or maybe it was just somewhat of a lie about containers having those physical appearances.

One thing I find strange is, it doesn't appear that you need a human sacrifice to seal a Bijuu inside a body, unless i;m mistaken Mito sealed the Kyuubi inside herself, and did not require a human sacrifice, doesn't sound like the sealing of the Kyuubi inside Kushina required a human sacrifice either, so why did the fourth have to pay with his like to seal the Kyuubi away? Or is there something i'm missing?

Also agree the mask man is Madara, probably without the body of the original, maybe Obito, or maybe even the body of the third Bijuu's host, for all we know he possesed their body like ohw Orichimaru does it, or how Pain did it.

I think the only mention of host taking on the appereance of the Bijuu was Gaara and that was because of the insomnia which leads to the dark circles around his eyes not because the Bijuu is a Racoon. Though someone did point out at NF.com that Kushina's hair when fanned out is Nine tails, so maybe that's the charactoristics she picked up.

Now I was to know why Naruto has those markings, if it's because of the Kyuubi why doesn't Tsunade have the marks?

I got that ball rolling, and you're missing the point.

What if it wasn't Madara at all, but someone in cahoots with him. What if the person standing there was another Uchiha or even Danzo. What if the mask was pulled off and it was Sasuke's dad...so that the Uchiha betrayal started much earlier than the coup. If something like that were revealed, then it would make Sasuke look like one in a long line of screwed-up dudes, and make Naruto's faith in him and redemption (if there is one) that much sweeter.

Madara being behind the mask is the most straightforward answer. But Kishimoto has proven that he's never straightforward.

So if you were creating a story for maximum suspense, how far would you twist the plot? Again, what if it's not Madara? What if Madara was using someone else in the village?

Until that mask (and the other one!) comes off, it's anyone's guess who's under it.

It's not the same mask with the swirl and it's probably not colored orange (I wish Kishi made that panel with color ) it's a different mask but it's definetely Madara.

If the Obito theory is true (wich I believe) that's not Madara, since he have a lot of pins in his right arm, so I don't think its him, so this guy could be another Uchiha, you never know...

Are you saying the masked guy is Obito? that's impossible he looks to be older and Obito back then must be the same age as Kakashi eleven going to twelve.

My question is why in the flaming hell would it be Obito? There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of dead Uchiha to pick, and even then if he wanted a stronger one he could probably have his pick from the live lot. Why would he go through the trouble of finding someone has weak as Obito? He didn't have much potential in him; he just opened his Sharingan. Whoopty doo, want a medal for effort?
