Yeah, but it kept saying I need to authorize it for offline play and I need to have at least one starcraft II character....

Is the campaign editor on this as robust as in the original Starcraft? Honestly, the UMS games possible with the original made it such a good play this many years in the future. Hell, I only play UMS on the original StarCraft now on Battle.net. I've been hearing that there are a few changes to single player so I am downloading it at the moment to see how it shapes out. If its really good, I'm definitely picking up a copy for the online play.

I downloaded Dragon Age but I hated the gameplay that I didn't even make it out the castle and I just deleted it. Definitely not worth buying.
Dragon Age was just another on a list of hyped games I tried that I didn't like which I didn't even get far in.

The editor is awesome. Custom scripts and everything is supported. And yes, UMS games are back, I just played one or two games of Left 4 Dead made using the new SC2 editor.

Starcraft 2 causing graphics cards to overheat?

One of the biggest game releases of the year is Starcraft 2, the sequel to one of the biggest games of all time. However there are numerous reports of issues, one of which that can destroy your graphics card in your computer.

Adam Biessener from Game Informer had his card "fry", saying this in his attempt at live blogging the game.

"Three hours of cursing later, I'm posting this from my wife's laptop because both my graphics card and my work laptop appear to be fried."

Blizzard has told people via their technical support Website, that they are aware of the issue, and seeking to solve the problem.

"Screens that are light on detail may make your system overheat if cooling is overall insufficient. This is because the game has nothing to do so it is primarily just working on drawing the screen very quickly."

The bug is caused when the game gets to a menu, and then the game will continually render it over and over again. This is due to the fact that the game has no frame rate lock on the menu so it continually recreates the menu until your card fries.

Luckily, a quick fix is exactly that, a quick fix, go to the directory that you have installed Starcraft 2, and locate the "variables.txt" file. Possible directory may be this "Documents\StarCraft II\variables.txt".

Once you are at the .txt file, add the following:

frameratecapglue=30
frameratecap=60

Hopefully Blizzard can release a patch, to rectify the issue soon, so no more people have to have a dead card on their hands.

True, but Spectres kick more ass. Though sometimes(sometimes because I saw what happens if you do pick her) I regret not getting Teh Hotness, I'll just do the campaign over again.

Honestly, I dislike your Avi and Sig. They remind me of the pain of getting your dreams stomped on. How much I got hyped up for StarCraft: Ghost before Blizzard trampled over my hopes and canceled it.

I actually liked the ending, because there are so many options that Blizzard has for the other two games!!!

But man that final level was a.....So glad I went with the not worm kill/no air option!!

They'll just do a prequel, a spinoff, or a sequel, which would be awesome because well I'm saying anything until everyone knows. But I want the protoss now, give me the protoss now!!! I miss being Executor!!!

Finished a 2v2 game with True. I swear the enemy kept picking me as bait for their new units.

72% of all Campaign achievements done. Did all the challenges. (Some of them were annoying as hell though.)

My friend bought the game but his computer wasnt good enough so he came to my house to play...

So he leaves but I notice that you dont need the disk to play Starcraft 2....But then i find out I can only play as a guest because my battlenet account doesn't have the key for the game...I'm a sad sad person right now
