How about Sakura's spectacular display of love when she rushed the four tail? That was way more impressive than Hinata's feeble "try" at being a hero.
I was trying to make a comparison between Hinata vs Sakura's confession. Hinata has the big spot light of the cliche heroic moment to support her confession. In Sakura's case, while she did about the same thing (and that mean trying to protect Naruto) her way was less spectacular because the spotlight wasn't directly point out at her but to the hidden purpose being it (meaning dealing with Sasuke herself). Many had problems accepting Sakura truthfulness in her confession because of that ( also because she said that she no longer care for Sasuke). If you compare both confession, Hinata's was more flashy because she was directly tried to protect Naruto and was something no one would have expected to happen mainly because she's shy and doesn't show much confidence in herself in a general situation. However, even if she did the flashy 'I'll save the day' act, she still did all of this out of selfishness ( even for a good cause). Sakura's confession, while not as show off as Hinata's, didn't held any selfish purpose behind it ( and that why I say that Sakura's confession was a lot more meaningful then Hinata big heroic moment). Sai even said that she did all of this considering Naruto's feeling first, which could prove that she didn't do all of this for her sake but for Naruto.
Again, back to the main topic...and I don't know what else to say about that
